“The fact that you have hair at all” really resonated with me because I have experienced thinning over the years (it runs in the women on my dad’s side of the family) and I am thankful for what I do have left and am working towards regrowth and loss prevention.
Thank you for the encouragement. Love your content. I have a suggestion...the "celeb models" are great, however, it would help to see a "regular person" styled. Ones that have a little extra middle section for us over 50 and had children. 😊 Respectfully 💕
Hi Angela thank you for posting this video. I honestly think you were talking directly to me. I'm a tall, lean, and athletic triangle Hispanic female. I wasn't built like the typical Latin mama with a huge butt and hips. I always found it difficult to shop .Thank you for the valuable information and tip on how to dress and what to look for. My sista I love and appreciate all your fashion knowledge and tips..
Thank you for doing these video’s. I have a rectangular body but I am overweight with most of my weight in the middle. I would love to see. fashion show of 5-6 work outfits, casual outfits and date nite outfits. Work especially. I just turned 60 but I like to look nice not dowdy. I have a very hard time finding a white button down and blazers that fit. I love your channel. You uplift my spirit and I love the fact that you don’t care what age, color, race, creed etc someone is and you are not prejudiced against the overweight person! You encourage us to be healthy and to live ourselves! Thank you! I really love your channel and would love to go shopping with you
I read a book on body shapes and it said that all supermodels are rectangles because clothing off the rack in stores in made for the rectangle body shape. I’m a size 12 rectangle and always been able to easily buy clothes and it wasn’t until I learned about my body shape that I connected the dots on why that is. The LOFT makes all their pants in a curvy size and that was the only thing that never fit me and I didn’t know why as my thighs are indeed curvy. Until I realized that their curvy pants are meant for triangle body shapes. You’re spot on about the square neck top!
Thank you for these tips. It really helped me understand why certain dresses work great on me and others fall flat. As a slightly taller person I find peplum tops often don’t fall at my best waistline so if there are any rectangles that don’t love a peplum, that might be an issue for you too!
Thank you Angela for this body size series. It is much needed. In the words of Lizzo..."In case nobody told you today, You're special..." Yes indeed! We ALL are. Today is my birthday & believe me, it has taken a lifetime to believe that I am perfectly imperfect.
Thank you for finally doing the rectangle body shape. I really appreciate the suggested clothing choices that suit this body type. Would you considering anything for petite size women with this body type
Thanks Angela! Love your style of clothing and the fact that you are talking about different body shapes and how to style them!!! However, I can’t wait until you get to the triangle or pear shape ☺️. Take care and again, thanks
I’m new here since I just figured out that I have a rectangle body shape and I love this video and it definitely gave me a good understanding of how to style my body type
I really enjoy your content especially that you are size inclusive, even with your cut away features. Also of note is the fact that your choices can be worn by most age groups( as you've featured your lovely daughter) really and still be very stylist and current.
Hi Queen! I really love your body shape videos! They are helpful to me for styling from my closet. I want to take this time to celebrate you during women's month. You are amazing and have a sweet spirit! I laugh with you during your video bloops! You do an awesome job incorporating beauty, fashion and life into your video which includes something for everyone. You are appreciated everyday! ♥️♥️♥️
This was fun. I loved seeing all those outfits and the models. Having a stylist helps them pick flattering styles. Now, we have you and we can avoid making mistakes. Personally, I like fitted clothes best and hate myself in anything boxy. I am sort of even bust to hips with a defined smaller waist, but that means with the wrong style I can look really frumpy and fat, even though I am fairly slim. I need to be careful and your ideas help me refine my selections. 😘😘
Loved this! Very helpful tips! It was great that you included actual examples of people with this body shape, what to wear and what to avoid. Great job!
Yes chile I live for a good ole nasty plunging neckline and a high split dress or skirt! Peplums are my friend! I always like these type videos because as we age(58)we can get insecure in how we put together nice outfits. My face may not look 58 but this body can use some work. Tfs
That top look stunning on you, you are gorgeous. I have a triangular body and is so hard to find clothes, my hubby says I’m beautiful anyways, that’s a good thing 😂 thank you so much for the video
Pretty much all the NOs are what I really like to wear😂. I love a pleated skirt. Love, love, love. But I just think they look awful on me. Great video ❤
It's very hard that I have a rectangular body especially I want to dress up with korean fashion or wear thai dresses, but I don't even have curves and the clothes make my body so big compared to those petites. But later on, I've managed to accept that I have a rectangular body shape and I have clothes to wear that suits me even if it does not follow what's trend. It's just about the style and accepting our body type💕
I love your videos! The time you take to find pictures that perfectly illustrate each example is appreciated, I'm going to add some medium and large width belts to my shopping list. Belts are the accessory I always forget about until I'm getting dressed. The right belt can really add that special touch to an outfit. Hi Production!
I look forward to your videos. Your voice and the way you deliver the content. You are definitely phenomenal. I love when you mess up with words you dont edit them out. Real all the way around. Just my opinion❤
So surprised to learn of the celebs with that shape. I fall into that category and learned a while ago how to wear clothes that flatter my figure. My fave is the wrap dress!
I burst out laughing when you said you had a breast reduction and your surgeon said she was going to put them where they were supposed to be 😂😂 I can relate and I love the transparency ❤
There are a lot of midsized/plus sized rectangle body types out there. Tbh it's very difficult to find content that helps the size 8+ find clothes that work for them when they are a rectangle body type.
I just realized i have a rectangle shape body. I noticed it years ago but could not pin point it until last week when isaw a video about body measurements. I was disappointed at first but then when i saw that the weight of a triangle shape women is evenly distributed throught out the body i said to myself this why my waist is smaller. I also called a good friend and she helped me figure it out. I went on a website called body calculator and that is how i figured it out to make sure
Are you using a new camera? This video looks so crisp or maybe its my new contact lens 😁Thanks for the advice/suggestions. Thanks for the link to the shirt they hv my size & I'm going to order it.
I love this video a lot but I just don’t like that it’s still not rectangle body acceptance verbiage being pushed solely, shifting to hourglass illusion . It saddens me to know that , the end goal of many fashion tips is to still continue to put the hour glass figure on a pedestal than create our own empowering lane to represent .
Question… I am short waisted with longer legs. Wearing a belt is usually uncomfortable skirts also because of the waist. Any suggestions on what to wear.
I was not a rectangle shape. I’ve had two children and some minor diastis recti so that’s how I look now. Is it possible that your body shape change? I’m wondering if my body just needs toning or if this is my actual shape.
😃Hiiii Queen👑😃...I subscribed TODAYYYYY and I'm watching/enjoying some of your videos💜 and had to stop and say "😃YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL BOTH INSIDE & OUT HON"😃🤗🙌🏾🥳👏🏽💜...Sending XOXO & Blessings your way🤗🙌🏾🥳💜💕🥰....Racquel.
I not only have a rectangle shape but a "tire" mid-section above the stomach. Trying to find clothes that look good and not matronly while I'm working out to get rid of the tire and stomach. I have NO waistline! :0
I enjoy your videos, and was so excited for this segment - but I could not relate to your examples. You initially used Queen Latifah as a rectangular body type example - just wondering why you chose not to use a plus size frame as an example. I would love to know your thoughts.
The saddest thing about this insecurity about our bodies is, that men rarely experience the same same amount of insecurity and shame around their looks.
I wish I knew my body type! I think it has changed over the years. Today, at my happy weight, my waist is 5” smaller than my hips and bust. I think I lost more butt this last time. Does this make me rectangle?
“The fact that you have hair at all” really resonated with me because I have experienced thinning over the years (it runs in the women on my dad’s side of the family) and I am thankful for what I do have left and am working towards regrowth and loss prevention.

What is the bust line exactly? Around the breast or that below the breasts?
Thank you for starting off “loving our bodies”. So important. God is good
Wow! I randomly typed in dress for rectangle body shape and my favorite lady posted the very content I needed mere hours ago! Love the synchronicity!
Love that!
I was amazed at the well known ladies that are considered to have the rectangle shape. Thank you for the tips👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

What do you wear to look nice while sightseeing? I’ll be going to Italy and London early spring. Thanks
Hiii! I have a question. So if you have broad shoulders, would you look too bulky if you wear shoulder pads?
Do you know any plus sizes celebrities with rectangular bodies? Also, what’s the difference btw rectangle body vs. apple?
I have really broad shoulders with obvious collarbones sticking out and I feel like I look too weird due to it and I don’t know what to so
