This is soooo helpful! I’m Wide/Long/Medium and have always struggled with whether I am a SD or FN. Both lines feel right and fit my general style - especially your comment about miniskirts or mini dresses! This makes it so much easier to figure it out.
I have spent the last two months figuring out my body type and the best lines for it and now I think that the best way to actually find that out is to experiment, then take daily outfit photos and then make judgements based on that 🤔
That's a lot of work. Maybe you could hire a professional to do the body type analysis. I paid a lovely woman to do the colour analysis for me. and I think I could never land on my actual type with self analysis. It was a bit unexpected but I agree with the result.
Honestly let me say what I found out the body type style that you most fit into you are naturally drawn to that type of clothing. I naturally fell in a catogory without even trying to copy my essence. She also has another video choose the one that is Style Essence 13 mins long video she will get to the point. Its about finding your best fashion based off of your face shape found that the most helpful.
I also think that self analysing via this Body Matrix -method way go wrong, if one has any kind of body dysmorphia. One might feel like wide, while being actually medium or even narrow to other people’s eyes.

The best body shape system hands down. Looking forward to my kindle copy of the book in a couple of days (pre-ordered last month). I’ve ended up with 27 possible colour combinations too by splitting warm/cool into red/yellow/blue then muted/moderate/concentrated and light/medium/dark. Trouble is I never feel like I fit into any classification system, always somewhere on a spectrum (medium, medium-long, medium shape; red, moderate-concentrated, medium colour). With your systems I have a clearer idea of my options & what works for them, though. Thank you for championing body neutrality & meaningful descriptions.
@@elliejeanroyden No worries. It’s the truth. I’ve finished chapter 1 & its exercises already. Really enjoying it. Finally able to confirm I’m Earth, Mushroom, Fire. Heads-up, there are just a couple of minor typos in the Kindle edition at present (sorry, I used to be an academic proofreader & now teach English so can’t help spotting these things). It happens with early Kindle editions all the time so don’t worry about it. An extra answer in the quiz materials question & a which/that dilemma smoosh in one of the aesthetic glossary definitions. I love your writing style & the fact I can hear your voice from your videos on here as I read & reflect back on videos I’ve watched from you before (I’ve been trying to “do” personal style & decluttering for a few years now).
Side note- I love this hair journey you've been on, the virgin hair is so pretty against your skin tone! I can really see more of the color in your face with the natural hair coming down farther now. So wild. I love color theory.
another very interesting video! I was pretty solid on the idea that i was a kibbe romantic before watching this, and listening to in-depth descriptions of each of your 27 types definitly helps confirm it- since i fall into the narrow, short, and round category- even if i'm a little bit taller than the examples you gave here.
Congrats on having created such a brilliant system! Kibbe needs an urgent update! His system is outdated, and styling suggestions are too limited considering how fashion flows. My body is on the gamine side (5'2: height) with somewhat medium shoulders due to muscle gain around that area due to exercise and using my physical strength for work. The only celebrity I have found who has almost identical shape as I do is Michelle Williams. I barely have any curve, straight with a mix of angularity and softness. And I do like gamine suggested style with creative and quirky details.
Love your systems ellie jean. Everything is so accessible and understandable, and allows for personal interpretation. Thank you for sharing your brilliance
Wow. Well done! Yes. Okay, you could definitely slow down & do some focused videos taking a longer look at each of these. Flamgam here & look a little off in some of the recommendations and my essence blend is more along the natural-romantic-ethereal blend so all the “boyish chic” stuff doesn’t work well for me. 😬 I try, but end up back in my flowy maxi bohemian dresses & chunky platforms bc I don’t know what else to do. 😂 Would love to see more on your types mentioned in this video.
Patiently waiting for your book to arrive on Thursday so I can read more about my type (narrow, long & medium). I've always felt like I'm somewhere between a Dramatic & Soft Dramatic.
This was such a nice break from the confusion of Kibbe! I think this system is really going to catch on. It is easy to understand and makes clothing recommendations intuitive
Yay! I was really hoping to find something like this. It allows for so much flexibility in finding clothes that work for me! Thank you thank you thank you!
What about a gymnast-type body? I’m 5’5”, narrow hips, small chest, broad shoulders, round booty, strong thick thighs, short torso. I never see women that look like me 😢
THANK YOU!!! I’ve been struggling to figure out my wide-long-round body type for about a good solid year. Nothing felt quite right but this does, thank you!!
This was so helpful! What I thought when you described the aspects was that I was a Med - Long - Med, but that's totally off from what I actually am! Seeing the images and you explaining the aspects of clothing which fit best made it crystal clear to me that I'm actually a Narrow - Long - Round. I literally gasped when I saw that gold dress and knew I'd rock it.
A couple of years ago I was typed as a flamboyant gamine, and it does suit me more than the others. But I’ve always still considered myself quite long. So, I was happy when you described “long gamines” or “longer flamboyant gamines.” I think I may lean more narrow-medium-straight. Can’t wait to learn more from you!
I was doubting between wide/medium and medium/short. After watching your recommendations I've narrowed it down to medium -medium -round. Also, you helped me realize I don't have to be conscious of my shoulders because they are not as wide as I think 😂😂😂😂
It really gave me some clarity on what my body type is. I hope you would separate videos for the body types. I am a short narrow round body type and I'd love some more in depth information about this. ❤
Thank you for making this!!! I am one of the most likely wide long curvy girls!!!! First time doing kibbe research I swore I was a romantic but I’m 5”7. Then when I tried to wear romantic items/textures etc, they looked too soft on me… it’s weird because I have an athletic leaning build but obvious curve… I have found honestly that I have to meet in the middle as far as fabrics/silhouettes go- natural fabrics with curve defining silhouettes, ie stretchy cotton things, think 80’s gym class or dance wear haha
My body is the same way! I am built sturdy and athletic, but I have an hourglass leaning triangle type shape. Kibbe FN's can't have hourglass bodies, but the SD didn't have the width my body needs. So I was stuck in the middle until Ellie came up with the Body Matrix system. She has definitely given all us in-between types a place to thrive!
@@enhequestrian4169 omg see we’re all connecting on here 😂❤️ I love it! And yessss sturdy exactly, the only time I see our body type is like for female comic book characters 😂 it’s great for any athletic wear but hard to style normal clothes! I’m glad you found some options too girl
I have been so confused by my body type, but seeing myself in the video helped so much. It explains why I have struggled so much. I don’t have any specific prominent features because I am medium medium medium for The Body Matrix, resulting in a classic for the Kibbe body system. I should have known I was somewhere in the middle.
Thank you so much for this video!! It was super helpful. I still feel unsure of my type in your system (it’s hard to be confident that I see myself clearly) but I feel much closer to figuring it out than I do with my kibbe type, which I’ve spent a lot more time on. I’m so excited about your book, one day if I have money to spare I’d love to buy it!
Hi!! Could you maybe make a video about all the essence combinations and maybe give examples ? I know it's a lot of work but I think it could be helpful for many because I find it's quite hard to find information about this topic online :)))
I was waiting for a video like this (or to get your book in my hands) because I love your system! However, I am still not sure where I fall. 😂 I am pear shaped with violin hips and knobby knees and elbows. My waist is much smaller than my chest and hips so I’m curvy but in an angular way….. My shoulders are probably objectively medium but compared to my hips they are narrow. So I still don’t know my type. I’m average to short but I have a small head and long arms so I think I look taller than I am. I know what things work for me overall though and so looking at the recommendations that overlap is helping me. Thanks for making a video detailing everything. This system you have created is amazing.
Thank you so much for the style roots and body matrix systems, as only there could i really find what described my body and style in the best way. ❤❤❤❤❤ As a wide medium medium, thank you for resolving the issue with being "too straight" "too fleshy" "too short" "too tall" for the existing natural kibbe types, as all the directions and recommendations for styling either were ever so slightly wrong or applicable only with considerable amount of salt so to say. I feel like a lot of women would really benefit from your creation, so thanks a lot!
Medium short and round babyyyyy 💪 I love this system. It's very user friendly but equally as helpful as the kibbe system imo, even more helpful actually because you can identify your characteristics much faster and start actually implementing them 😂
Really enjoy this new system but I think the pictures used for Narrow Medium Round (my type) make a lot of sense here. The words you use do but the outfits shown on Saoirse Ronan all have very straight edges, don’t show waist emphasis and overall look rather blocky if that makes sense. I’m hoping we’ll get more in depth videos on all the types soon x I think Narrow Medium Round lends itself well to some 40s silhouettes, big waist emphasis wide hips and then narrow around the knees again is something that always looks great on this type I believe x
Thank you so much for seeing this contradiction in Kibbe. No one who knows Kibbe can agree if I'm an FN or SD but most say FN. I'm 5'9" with wide square shoulders, but I have a curvy figure and I think I look best with some draping waist definition. I fit FN in every way except that I think I look better when you can see my natural waist. Without definition I just look like a block from my shoulders to my hips. Your system of Wide, long and medium describes me to a T. I look forward to seeing you "flesh" this out more. Hee hee. Thank you!
I always find it easy to identify what body type you might think I'd be, based on the criteria, but then when it comes to the styling I don't find it matches my experience. I am very narrow shouldered, I am 5'6" but most people think I am shorter, and I have wide hips. But the things you said narrow/short/rounds should wear don't look good on me at all. Tapered trousers, fitted skirts and especially any kind of clingy fabric on the hips are things I always avoid.
Great breakdown! If I am not automatically long at ~5'6.7 (169.5), how do I determine if I have a long vertical line? I think more detailed descriptions would be helpful for people who may be close to limits
It's how tall you "look" in a picture by yourself without anyone else to give context to your height! Like Sarah Jessica Parker is only 5'1" but has a long vertical line because you'd never guess she was that short if you just saw a picture of her! But also you're almost 5'7", I'd say you probably have vertical.
Do you have any photos of taller-than-average Gamines? You’re the only one I’ve ever heard mention that, & it would resolve my image dilemma if true- thanks!
Hello Ellie-Jean, i love all of your videos and they helped me so much! I would like to have a video about loungewear for the different types. In the kibbe system i am a theatrical romantic. I think its hart to find loungewear wich is comfortable and cozy but not look too untidy. Thank you for your content!
Hi Ellie Jean, could you do a video on work wear items that suit the different body types? I am wide, round and medium and find it really hard to style outfits for work that suit my body type
Any recommendations for everyday looks for medium medium round? The examples were pretty dressy and almost all dresses... still somewhat helpful of course. I am just more of a casual person and I work from home in a place that has four seasons.Thank you.
What about a gymnast-type body? I’m 5’5”, narrow hips, small chest, broad shoulders, round booty, strong thick thighs, short torso. I never see women that look like me 😢
I’m a narrow long medium and love this concept! I always felt like I wasn’t represented completely in the Kibbe system because I’m not fully curvy or have wide shoulders. Who is the celebrity that is shown as this type in your video? I need some outfit inspo and she has incredible style❤️
I love the objectivity of this system, that looks for specific features in clothes, super useful! About me: I'm narrow for sure; I have round chest and round hips but also really sharp and long bones, squared shoulders, and putting on weight I become more straight losing waist definition, so I would place myself in the medium. Despite being 5'2" I have to accommodate my long vertical line, and with Classic lines I look like I'm putting on a costume: I'm more toward the Dramatic (with soft flash). Jackets are flattering on me when below the hip and skirts below the knee. Besides sharp bones and long limbs I also have the typical small head compared to the body mentioned in Kibbe method, that makes me look a lot taller than my actual height (people are always impressed when they see me in person because how short I really am, I don't look "delicate"), so I would suggest I'm more towards the long vertical line.
I'm really into this rabbit hole 😂 I also learnt about the height to head ratio and mine is slightly more than 8, that is associated with a tall appearence. That makes so much sense! I also compared my pic with yours (used in the body matrix video) since we are the same height and have a similar body shape (pronounced high hip), and I can see how balanced your body is compared to mine, that has a lot of contrast instead: my shoulders are squared, straighter and sharper, my hips are rounder and fuller than yours and my chest is slightly wider, giving a V shape to my upper body. I resonate with the description "sharpened bones + soft flesh" of Merriam Style, associated with SD, that doesn't have to be actually tall. I'm glad I found your videos and resources because when I first lernt about Kibbe 3 years ago I couldn't find such good ones.
Thank you for this video! I tried to use the body matrix and couldn't figure out things like width etc, but it all makes sense now. :) Could you perhaps explain what you mean by open sleeves? Do you mean a long sleeves top with a slit on the upper arm? Or sleeveless? Same question for open legs. 🙂
So medium, medium, round it is! I know for sure I’m a romantic, but it took a lot of going back between soft classic and romantic. Now it makes sense. Moderation was always my “thing”. Too much of one or the other was feeling like I was “trying too hard”. It also plays into my classic essence as well. Everything seems to be related in a way.
Love your videos! Could you do a style analysis of Mamma Mia 2, like they transferred the styles from the older character from Part 1 into part 2 onto the younger character so fabulous even though they are different body types and probably different seasons and so on? That would be great :)
This system is really good! I mean i've seen, no, studied so many of your videos to improve my personal style and it all makes sense: i'm a petite true summer with ingenue/gamine/classic essence with a pinch of natural or romantic, my style roots are mushroom+flower+mountain. I always thought that i am a Soft Gamine, the last year a little unsure about it because of a weight loss that made me look even more straight (angular bones typical adolescent appearance like a skinny ballerina) but still really short, longer legs, short torso and arms, little hourglass with waist enphasys. With the first test i wrote down Narrow/short/straight like a flamboyant gamine. Now i think it's more the case between narrow/short/medium and narrow/short/round just a little less fleshy. Years ago i could see more clearly the softness of my skin, the fat and muscular part on the structure to say for sure soft gamine. I see that in fact my results are between the last 3 groups and the tips work really well for "mixed types", it's difficult nowadays to find pure body types. Life always finds a way 😂
Hi, thanks for this great video. Makes a lot more sense than kibbe to me! Wanted to let you know that at 14:27 you have a typo on the screen I believe- you’re talking about Medium, Medium, Round, but rather than round it says straight on the caption beneath you. Just thought you might want to know! 😘
PLEASE do a video about wide short round!!! This type is also just not represented well in Kibbe, I have actually heard before that you can’t have Kibbe width and Kibbe petite at the same time, which is why I think Florence Pugh is so debated. What do you do when you have a blunt bone structure, you’re super wide and curvy but you are extremely and obviously short? Soft natural lines are simply too long. Soft gamine lines deal with sharpness and angularity, but not with width! Also, in my experience, Kibbe just has noooo accommodations for big butts, only big hips!
When you talk about being angular vs. being round, is that only when facing straight on, or should we also be taking side profile into account? I'm pretty straight from the front, but have much more curve from the side so I'm not sure where I belong!
I am soft gamine. For your system I would need to find my width . I really don’t know if if i am medium or narrow. So I’m either : - medium short round - narrow short round
Im medium medium round! And I’ve always thought kate winslet and Drew Barrymore were kinda similar to my body type. I could never decide if I was a soft classic, romantic or soft natural
The point is to study & learn what the clothes that make you feel pretty have in common so you can replicate the looks whenever you want. This way, you don't have to try on 50 clothes to determine which ones will make you look pretty. You will know beforehand. This is what the video is about.
other medium/narrow short round girls -- advice for dressing for an office setting? I work at a law firm and I have trouble balancing dressing well without looking too sexy or frumpy. To compensate sometimes I'll wear more 1) medium lengths at work and/or 2) keep the round shapes but avoid anything too clingy. It's hard!!! So many people are wearing suits & button ups at work but these look too stiff on me. Medium or narrow are a toss up for me, but def round and short (4'11)
Hi Ellie-Jean, I am stuck between medium-medium-medium and medium-medium round. Mostly because I feel like I definitely am not straight through the hips, but I lack roundness in the bust.
It is so unbelievably hard to find your kibbe ID, but with this it wasn't a struggle. I think I'm medium medium round or medium short round (I'm 5'3 but everyone says my height looks average) The closest I've come to a kibbe ID is romantic, do I feel like the examples of romantics makes sense as well.
This is a genuine question: I am confused by width bc for a while this made complete sense to me as i'm very wide All Over EXCEPT my chest and shoulders and i feel like i fit your accomodations for width pretty well! Altho i'm not particularely drawn to Flared hems but rather openness, would that mean i've actually Medium width since that still fits me? (It also aligns w the accomodations for the pear body type that recomends wide hems and necklines to acomodate width in the hips) So...... am i just an odd case where i'm wide despite having narrowness in my shoulders? (I mean i'll still use clothes that fit me and i found that thanks to this system,, i'm just a stickler for continuity and would like to know if you've changed your mind on this or if i've misunderstood) Thank you sm for this, it is so helpful!
Would I still be considered “long” in this system if I was slightly beneath 5’4 but have a long vertical line, or would I be considered medium? I know I’m probably medium-long-medium or medium-medium-medium but I can’t decide
Welp i guess i'll just have to try on a bunch of clothes to know if i lean wide or narrow?? I feel like i look good in all of it, but i Preffer open necklines bc it's comfier..😅😅
5:07 How can someone with a short vertical line be a Flamboyant Natural? That makes no sense. FN's are supposed to look tall. That is definitely either Soft Gamine or Soft Natural for sure.
This is exactly the point! There is no width + short + straight (for example) in Kibbe or direct translation of many of these types - hence the creation of the body matrix ♥️
@elliejeanroyden Can you explain how almost all of these can be flamboyant natural? You mentioned that about six of them could be FN. I thought that flamboyant Naturals were supposed to be wide, long, and straight.
@@minivan1680 fn has no bottom height number. You just have to look long in kibbe. You can look long at 5’2”. Besides that, what if you have width but you’re short? Where would you put yourself in kibbe? Probably fn if you don’t have curve just cause, what else? You can’t be a gamine with width
@ShanyahAshtyn1 I learned something new today, but still, I am very confused. So what does this mean exactly? Can anyone can be a flamboyant natural? What are the requirements for the FN? I know that there has to be width, at least, and now, with this clarification, I understand that they have to have a long vertical line even if they're not exactly tall. What's the shape that they have to be? Or can they be anything? This is really confusing.
@@minivan1680 honestly, I’ve always been confused too. Because kibbe took away the regular natural type. So if you have curve you’re sn, and if you have vertical you’re fn. But what if you’re just kinda moderate besides your width. Idk. That’s why Ellie-Jean’s system makes more sense to me. It’s more of a spectrum that I think Kibbe lacks
I don’t know if I’m wide short straight, wide short medium, medium short medium, or medium short straight. I’m a v-shape with a bust and narrow hips. Some of the images for medium seem to have similar upper width to me.
I really like this system but I am confused about one thing: Do I need big 🍒 to count as soft? Or can I have small ones amd still count as curvy? Otherwise well, done! Thank you for sharing ❤
This is easier but I still can't figure out if im wide or narrow? I would be Dramatic in kibbe but my ribcage is so small. Hips and shoulders equal width. I personally think my shoulders are wide but everyone else says theyre really small? Maybe I have width but just small bones and they look wide on me idk. Anyone else having a same problem?
Love that pinterest board, esecially get excited when i think i can pull off what a fave celebrity wears. I am surprised to see Emma watson in the narrow category! Surely her shoulders are wide? is it because the rest of her is narrow? Because i have wide shoulders and very narrow hips so now i am wondering where id land haha
I think I'm either medium medium medium, or narrow medium round. My bones, like elbows and such are really sharp, but my hips and chest are rounded. I think I fit best in maxi dresses and with some waist definition, personally. I think I look quite childish in short dresses. Yeah, it would seem I'm non the wiser 😅

Thank you so much for such a lovely comment ♥️♥️
@@GCBookworm that’s so helpful thank you I will share this with the publisher ♥️
Side note- I love this hair journey you've been on, the virgin hair is so pretty against your skin tone! I can really see more of the color in your face with the natural hair coming down farther now. So wild. I love color theory.
Thank you so much ♥️
another very interesting video!
😂 Would love to see more on your types mentioned in this video.
everything was expertly and beautifully explained you're the best, keep up the great work!!
Patiently waiting for your book to arrive on Thursday so I can read more about my type (narrow, long & medium). I've always felt like I'm somewhere between a Dramatic & Soft Dramatic.
I am short, round and wide, it has helped me to pick out clothes that look best on me.
Thank you so much for putting me out there again and validating my educated guess! ❤🎉
I never see women that look like me 😢
So glad you did a break down of each type! 👏👏👏 Can’t wait for your book!
I am a Kibbe Soft Natural and a Body Matrix wide - medium - medium. I love that the BM "archetypes" are so much more nuanced. 💙
New subscriber, wonderful video. Thank you for ALL YOUR HARD WORK to make our life easy
True style innovator! I love how you keep doing your thing and don't just simply copy from a popular styling system.
Can have hourglass body, but if formed by bones@@enhequestrian4169
I have been so confused by my body type, but seeing myself in the video helped so much. It explains why I have struggled so much. I don’t have any specific prominent features because I am medium medium medium for The Body Matrix, resulting in a classic for the Kibbe body system. I should have known I was somewhere in the middle.
BEST EXPLANATION EVERRRRR 👌👌👌
i spend so many time trying to understend this and finally i feel i got it
love this System, since i always struggled to decide wether i am fn or sn.
and here it is pretty easy: wide medium medium 😅
Thank you so much for this video!! It was super helpful. I still feel unsure of my type in your system (it’s hard to be confident that I see myself clearly) but I feel much closer to figuring it out than I do with my kibbe type, which I’ve spent a lot more time on. I’m so excited about your book, one day if I have money to spare I’d love to buy it!
Yesssss! Been anticipating this one. So helpful!!
Hi!! Could you maybe make a video about all the essence combinations and maybe give examples ? I know it's a lot of work but I think it could be helpful for many because I find it's quite hard to find information about this topic online :)))
SUPER interesting! Thank you so much for doing all the combos that's a lot of work!
Sounds like narrow medium round?
Thank you so much for the style roots and body matrix systems, as only there could i really find what described my body and style in the best way. ❤❤❤❤❤
As a wide medium medium, thank you for resolving the issue with being "too straight" "too fleshy" "too short" "too tall" for the existing natural kibbe types, as all the directions and recommendations for styling either were ever so slightly wrong or applicable only with considerable amount of salt so to say. I feel like a lot of women would really benefit from your creation, so thanks a lot!
Medium short and round babyyyyy 💪 I love this system. It's very user friendly but equally as helpful as the kibbe system imo, even more helpful actually because you can identify your characteristics much faster and start actually implementing them 😂
It would be great if you could create a list of garment feature key words that could be used for shopping
I’m narrow, medium and round. Can’t wait for your book to be released
I have been waiting for this video for so long! 🎉 so excited it is here
Thank you so much for seeing this contradiction in Kibbe. Hee hee. Thank you!
I’m very excited for this!
Been waiting for this one! 🙌🏽
Hello Ellie-Jean,
i love all of your videos and they helped me so much!
I never see women that look like me 😢
Wide, short, medium?
Wide, medium, straight
Wide, medium, medium
I’m a narrow long medium and love this concept! I always felt like I wasn’t represented completely in the Kibbe system because I’m not fully curvy or have wide shoulders. Who is the celebrity that is shown as this type in your video? I need some outfit inspo and she has incredible style❤️
Exactly the same! I'm narrow, long & medium too. I was struggling to choose between Dramatic and Soft Dramatic within the Kibbe system.
On the Pinterest board, it says Eiza Gonzalez. I am this type too 🙂
I love the objectivity of this system, that looks for specific features in clothes, super useful!
Could you perhaps explain what you mean by open sleeves? Do you mean a long sleeves top with a slit on the upper arm? Or sleeveless? Same question for open legs. 🙂
I think she means not tight to the arms.
@@ayeyagomez That makes a lot of sense, thank you !
Life always finds a way 😂
Thank you Ellie!!
How would you categorize Marilyn Monroe in this system?
Can you make a video on how to dress cozy for autumn as a (light) summer??? I wanna dress in fall colours but browns/reds look awful on me....
Can you do hair for the body types?
When you talk about being angular vs. being round, is that only when facing straight on, or should we also be taking side profile into account? I'm pretty straight from the front, but have much more curve from the side so I'm not sure where I belong!
I am soft gamine. For your system I would need to find my width . I really don’t know if if i am medium or narrow.
So I’m either :
- medium short round
- narrow short round
Im medium medium round! And I’ve always thought kate winslet and Drew Barrymore were kinda similar to my body type. I could never decide if I was a soft classic, romantic or soft natural
I always say: wear whatever makes you feel pretty or comfortable, life is so damn short 🤦🏻♀️
❤ Narrow short and round
Hi Ellie-Jean, I am stuck between medium-medium-medium and medium-medium round. Mostly because I feel like I definitely am not straight through the hips, but I lack roundness in the bust.
I’m between a Soft Natural & a Classic, but I’m 5’9”. 🙃
This is a genuine question:
I am confused by width bc for a while this made complete sense to me as i'm very wide All Over EXCEPT my chest and shoulders and i feel like i fit your accomodations for width pretty well! Altho i'm not particularely drawn to Flared hems but rather openness, would that mean i've actually Medium width since that still fits me?
(It also aligns w the accomodations for the pear body type that recomends wide hems and necklines to acomodate width in the hips)
So...... am i just an odd case where i'm wide despite having narrowness in my shoulders? (I mean i'll still use clothes that fit me and i found that thanks to this system,, i'm just a stickler for continuity and would like to know if you've changed your mind on this or if i've misunderstood)
Thank you sm for this, it is so helpful!
I've always thought of Vanessa hudgens as SG 😮
Same with Hayden panettiere
5'3" with very narrow bones and a delicate feel overall, but long vertical. Am I short, medium, or long? I tend to look best in maxi length dresses.
7:08 💛
I’m wide medium and round. Sn thank you
Love that pinterest board, esecially get excited when i think i can pull off what a fave celebrity wears.
I am surprised to see Emma watson in the narrow category! Surely her shoulders are wide? is it because the rest of her is narrow? Because i have wide shoulders and very narrow hips so now i am wondering where id land haha
Still not sure if I'm a soft classic or a dramatic classic or a soft dramatic!
how would you type someone who's between FN and SD?
I think I'm either medium medium medium, or narrow medium round. My bones, like elbows and such are really sharp, but my hips and chest are rounded. I think I fit best in maxi dresses and with some waist definition, personally. I think I look quite childish in short dresses. Yeah, it would seem I'm non the wiser 😅
I am wide, medium, medium, but I don’t feel pretty on the deconstructed lose clothes, in feel better in the lines that kibbe refers as “gamine lines”
What does open mean?
I am medium through and through and it’s the most frustrating thing!!
I think I'm narrow, short, medium
Narrow long round - raises hand. I thought of myself as either a too tall Theatrical Romantic or too narrow Soft Dramatic in Kibbe.
