Totally agree with the lousy content covering this place on UA-cam. I was so frustrated with everyone in the look at me society only showing themselves or their clothes that I knew I had to fix this problem . So I set out to make a video that I would want to see, when looking at the possibility of going to a place ! It's not a surprise to me that people would rather see Jamaica than watch me in frame talking about me . I guess I am from an older generation lol😂

They were working on a couple of locations when I was there. I did notice they repainted the room doors of the building I was in.

Honestly , some of it was good and some of it was average. It's the best selection I have had in a tropical location so far.

Not that I know of, I believe the buildings across the property are all stairs. There is an elevator in the main building , I think. If stairs are a problem, let them know you are seeking the ground floor.

Thank you ! You are awesome for saying so! Yeah, before I went , I couldn't. Find a video that didn't show what someone was wearing, ice buckets in the room, or playing with their hair. So I made a commitment to create a video that has a clear view of the property , camera steady, the video I wanted to see. Now the internet has one. The more professional videos seem to be rushed, while talking at 90 miles per hour. Annoying

I agree - best video! I am going in June. I watched another video of a couple arguing the whole time. 😞

I didn't see many people smoking but I don't think they say anything about smoking. I bought a cigar and smoked it in the entertainment area upstairs without any problem at all. They sell cigars and tobacco of some type for some type of pipe there. I'm not sure exactly what it is but it's in my video's.

Restaurants, you have to wait until you get there and I'm not sure about the excursions but I think you need to speak to somebody there at their tour center.

Yes you do. There is a fee to use the spa (the this pool is included) otherwise you pay a day rate to use this pool as of April 2024

There is absolutely no pressure at all to tip. Not even a hint. Most people , like 90 percent plus , do not tip. We would tip about 5 to 10 American for meals. Rides to and from the hotel 20. Drink delivery 3 to 5. Again , you don't have to tip at all. We just like to give a little more. In total we tipped for the week about 600 American. Nobody would say anything if we gave 0. If you can , even just a little, or just once, I recommend you do.

The Jamaica side has kids water slides but I doubt they can be used by teens.

As you may have noticed I subtly made reference to the poor videos that are from the look at me generation. There was nothing really available to show Grand Palladium in a way that most people want to see and I knew this so I went there with full intent of making a video so that there was something online to give people a feel of what it's like to be there. Sometimes you have to do things yourself to get it done right 😂

@@WizardTerence No i live in Ontario, i live between two lakes Lake Huron and Lake Erie and am 2 hours from Lake Ontario. Gorgeous day was this recently because this week has been cold last week it was 20C one day.

It was good over all. I'm sure though, some of the food is a little out of expectations. Jerk chicken was good and popular. You can find it in the coloured huts.

The spa pool is not free (2024). You can pay a day rate to access it or get it included with your spa services. You’re just not terribly bright 🙄🤦‍♀️
