It's okay to rev the way he did when it's cold. I usally bring the rpm up slighlty for a second and leave it idle for a few minutes. then take it out and gently riding it going through the gears, after that I rip it
Don't worry about cold start revs. I bought my 2006 new and ran it just like that. Of course it ran like new when sold with about 250 hours on the original top end so what would I know...lol
Never cold start and rev and shut it off, oil gets washed out of the cylinder rings, they lose their seal, no compression, wont start. And getting to the spark plug hole to get some oil in is a minimum of a 1 hour headache...
you need to let the bike warm up, it's brand new don't start messing up the cylinder walls fast, cool vid by the way, check out my yz250f 16 too, my first 250
LOL your dealer told you to rev it??? No, 4 strokes will idle all day long no problem, it's electronically fuel injected and wont stall, The computer makes sure it wont.
Thom 1883 no you can not let it idle for a long time and you should not do that, especially not a 4 stroke. it will overheat and drain cooling water. remember I said long time. and of course it can die even if you have electronic fuel injection. it's only purpose is to tune the weather conditions. a tip for the owner. I heard your bike idle is to low. you can screw upp it a bit using the choke button. and you don't need to use the choke if it's warm outside. and you can review it when the engine is cold. just don't hit full gas 😊 good luck with your new bike!

+Grass_Concept yeah man if you let this thing idle for longer than a minute it's, start pissing out oil
WHAT? take it to the dealer then....Where does it start pissing out oil that doesn't make sense..
He wasn’t even close to revving it man.
Yeah man dont rev your bike let it warm up!
Dude how tall are you and what do you weigh? You make that hing look tiny ahah 🤘🏽
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I wouldn't rev it with the enricher out
I would just do a full send
I don't suggest you rev a cold bike.
+Thom 1883 I was told to rev it at dealership because they don't like to idle and will stall
you let it idle with the choke on for a minute, then turn the choke off. would not rev it like you are doing in this video.
robbyman398 ok mate thanks for the tip I'll be doing that from now on 😎

lol r.i.p yz , owner doesn't even know how to give proper care to the bike, oil still would of been sticky from coldstart
That's a yz450f? No way this kid feet shouldn't even touch the floor lol
Its actualy very low, the height of the seat is supost to be under 1 meter, after you seat on it it lowers even more
@@buuuu7691 u think ill be able to put a foot on the floor. Am 164cm fek
Those revs aren’t even aggressive what is everyone crying about
