    Funny to go back to this interview and realizing that everyone uses Kempers now lol

      Not so much Kempers anymore, now you have stuff like the Quad Cortex and Helix, stuff you can carry in the same backpack as your guitar and cables lol

    For Parisiennes, their English is incredibly good! With their accent, it was a little hard to understand them, especially with the background noise going on. Otherwise, nice vid guys!

    • @digitaltourbus
      @digitaltourbus  8 років тому +10

      Yeah, their English keeps getting better. The first time we filmed with them, all of them barely spoke English, now they're so much better! About the background noise, this series can be tough to film in the best conditions because the window of opportunity to film it is very small. In this case, we had to film during I See Stars' soundcheck.

    I like how Eric doesn't know which SD pickups are in his signature guitar.

    what does Eric mean when he says Dropped A# open tuning? Is he not playing in the usual A#FA#D#GC set up?

    • @digitaltourbus
      @digitaltourbus  8 років тому +2

      Almost all of their tunings are custom, to my knowledge.

    • @alexuridel

      I fiddled with my own baritone to figure this out: Put the guitar in Drop A# tuning, then drop the highest two strings down a whole step, then drop the third string down half a step. So in the end you have, low to high: A#, F, A#, D, F, A#. It sounds just about right, like when he strums the open strings at 1:15.

  • @Manoj_Galle

    Why doesn`t he just use the Kemper`s Transpose function, instead of using the drop pedal?

    • @digitaltourbus
      @digitaltourbus  8 років тому +1

      Not sure.

    • @Djentfan420
      @Djentfan420 5 років тому +2

      Drop takes less tone away than the kempers other bands that use kemper and this this pedal have said so

    • @elicain1514
      @elicain1514 5 років тому +4

      The kempers drop/transpose effect adds the slightest delay. When you’re trying to play tight, its no good. With that pedal there’s no delay, and keeps the tone a bit better

  • @awlg3267
    @awlg3267 3 роки тому

    are they still using the same string gauge?

  • @TranzparentMethods
    @TranzparentMethods 6 років тому +14

    Baritone guitars, ahhh... That makes a lot more sense. Try playing Chunk! with a standard guitar, it doesn't sound right. The strings are too floppy.

    • @A7XKoRnRocks1
      @A7XKoRnRocks1 5 років тому +1

      Probably because you are using the wrong gauge? He said 14-68 gauge. That's pretty thick along with being in Drop A# so they don't get floppy.
