For Parisiennes, their English is incredibly good! With their accent, it was a little hard to understand them, especially with the background noise going on. Otherwise, nice vid guys!
Yeah, their English keeps getting better. The first time we filmed with them, all of them barely spoke English, now they're so much better! About the background noise, this series can be tough to film in the best conditions because the window of opportunity to film it is very small. In this case, we had to film during I See Stars' soundcheck.
Oh i wonder how these guys sound live and i think the next band you guys should do is Chasing Safety and if you do could you please give a shout out to Kenny and Johnny for me.
Charles Davies We'll look into filming an episode with Chasing Safety next time they're in our area. Have you seen the videos we've already filmed with them?
I fiddled with my own baritone to figure this out: Put the guitar in Drop A# tuning, then drop the highest two strings down a whole step, then drop the third string down half a step. So in the end you have, low to high: A#, F, A#, D, F, A#. It sounds just about right, like when he strums the open strings at 1:15.
The kempers drop/transpose effect adds the slightest delay. When you’re trying to play tight, its no good. With that pedal there’s no delay, and keeps the tone a bit better
Here to listen to I See Stars Soundcheck in the background
Funny to go back to this interview and realizing that everyone uses Kempers now lol
Not so much Kempers anymore, now you have stuff like the Quad Cortex and Helix, stuff you can carry in the same backpack as your guitar and cables lol

I like how Eric doesn't know which SD pickups are in his signature guitar.
Oops
I See Stars in the background?
Yup
Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! show off the gear that they use onstage!
What bands should we film with next?
A Day to Remember
aarwonable cheez We'll try, but we've been trying to get them again for years and we haven't had any luck.
Digital Tour Bus They're awesome but hella busy and hella big compared to Chunk!
A Day To Remember if you ever can or Motionless in White
State Champs, Four Year Strong, Keep Flying, The Lucky Eejits, we were sharks, new found glory
love the gear video series guys, keep them coming
So glad to hear that! We're going to do our best to release 2-3 new episodes every single week! :)
I can hear I See Stars in the backround.
Yup, they were soundchecking when we filmed this.

Ahhhh can't find third eye guitars they looks sick
I want one but can't find them 😕
Here is their Facebook page! facebook.com/thirdeyeguitars/
It looks like their website is down though.
Tom Maxfield you can find them on amazon
@Digital Tour Bus I can say that gauge strings used Paul Wilson and Eric Poncet ? and they have their guitars tone please? 🙏
I believe they say their string gauges in the video.
14-68
+Digital Tour Bus Excuse friends, this language does not speak , for that reason I asked verbatim. Thank you 😉
+Herrdesrings Tanks you friend 😉
That background show going on sounds so it's f****** good
what does Eric mean when he says Dropped A# open tuning? Is he not playing in the usual A#FA#D#GC set up?
Almost all of their tunings are custom, to my knowledge.
Drop A#: A# F A# D# G C Drop A# Open: A# F A# D# G A#
Alex Uridel Thanks man

Why doesn`t he just use the Kemper`s Transpose function, instead of using the drop pedal?
Not sure.
Drop takes less tone away than the kempers other bands that use kemper and this this pedal have said so

are they still using the same string gauge?
I'm not sure, sorry.
Baritone guitars, ahhh... That makes a lot more sense. Try playing Chunk! with a standard guitar, it doesn't sound right. The strings are too floppy.
Thanks for watching.
Probably because you are using the wrong gauge? He said 14-68 gauge. That's pretty thick along with being in Drop A# so they don't get floppy.
@@A7XKoRnRocks1 On a short scale like 24 & 3/4 it does but on a 25.5 it’s not too bad
@@A7XKoRnRocks1i used 13-64 standard baritone strings from D’Addario and they were just fine in Drop A# on my Mirage.
The homies. What up Paul!
Thanks for watching!
+Digital Tour Bus
Open Drop A#? Is that just Open A#? Or Drop A#?
Not sure, sorry.
It’s drop A# but one of the higher strings is tuned up. Think it’s the 4th from the bottom
Open drop a#
He looks like sherlock holmes on his scarf
Awesome vid
Glad you liked it!
Where's Mathias ???????
His English isn't as strong, so they decided to talk about the gear for him.
fuck me, drop A#? damn
Thanks for watching!
Drop G# too :D
I usually play in drop D😂😂
+hannahsaurus_ the lowest I've evr gone is Drop A
I play in Drop Z because its not a thing and its just down tuning your guitar to nothing.... Jk I play in G#.
do devin townsend
We'll try!! Have you seen our episode of Bus Invaders with him?
Good god man... the man
You can cek this gear for the next band "Belmont or knocked lose" dude this awesome riff and sound yeaah...
please please do falling in reverse
Been trying to get them for some videos for years, but they always turn us down. Unfortunately it's 100% in their hands, not ours.
lol they didn't know much about the bass. typical. I wanted to here more as I have been interested in FGN for a while now.
Sorry! Their bassist doesn't speak English very well, so they did the best that they could to talk about his gear.
Did he say normal tuning for the bass? So he plays in E standard?
This has to be the worst gear masters episode ever posted....no fault of the band.
Cool
Man that band name sucks
J'adore l'accent, on est vraiment grillé peu importe où nous allons...! 😄
