UNSW boasts a unique example of the Gamelan - an ancient Indonesian orchestra of drums, gongs and metallophones. Its Gamelan Ensemble is so highly regarded it was invited to play at the 2015 Bali Arts Festival in Denpasar. This video features footage of the UNSW Gamelan Ensemble playing at the Festival with internationally renowned saxophonist Sandy Evans, a former Australian Jazz Musician of the Year who also lectures in Music at UNSW. Gamelan has different musical scales.

Same as usual. But Gamelan Tuning has Slendo scale & Pelog scale:
1 (ji /do) - (slendro)
2 (ro /re) - (slendro)
3 (lu /mi) - (slendro)
4 (pat /fa) - (pelog)
5 (ma /to) - (slendro)
6 (nem /la) - (slendro)
7 (pi, tu /ti) - (pelog)
Violin is fretless thus can play any tuning.

Gamelan itu punya dan berasal dari jawa bali , sunda dan punya indonesia bukan malingsia yang bisanya mencuri kebudayaan milik indonesia
