I was struggling to choose an IR major after watching your video I got a great understanding, I do speak Korean, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, and English and I would like to find a job at a consulate or embassy after graduation. 😀
I watched a video you made 3 years ago and this one you made 9 months ago. I can see the difference. And I'm so glad I've decided on international relations. And trust me I've watched about some 50 videos on IR but your ones are very honest and helpful. Thank you
So glad that you renewed your channel! Adore your pronunciation 🥰
Thank you for the kind words 🥺🖤
Just for everyone thinking about studying IR. This study path means struggle, means no specific profession and a big investment of money and free time. Your life needs to be connected to your goals since it’s such a competitive and narrow opportunities path. I wish I had known that… Investment in time and money on language courses, on masters that might not lead you anywhere, conferences, diplomas of participation on x and z, volunteer experience, research and writing experience, and so on… it’s demanded a lot and unfortunately many of the work of a graduate demands a non payed internship to start off your career and another one and a position outside everything you dreamed and worked so hard for 🤷🏽♀️ no regrets but it is definitely tough out here
I just want to say that am grateful for experience that you have shared with us, those on the front line in pursuing their career path in the field of international relations.
I'm a student of international relations and I love the area so much, continue to share your idea with us and may God bless you.
Thank you so much! I’m a senior in high school and I’m really looking forward to studying IR in college! :)
Really take all she said in consideration, it’s all true.
This was so helpful. Can't thank you enough💜💜Plz do come often!
I found your channel by accident and I’m so glad that I did because this video was very helpful to me! I’m enrolling into university this September and IR is one of my top choices, but I still have some qualms about it because I really love the subjects you get to study but I’m not sure I would enjoy the career paths that it opens up.
Im enrolling in September too for IR

I'm not good at dealing with people(most of the time I don't like to communicate with anyone)..But I will try to make a progress in networking for the sake of my future..
I will try to learn languages...
(I'm not good at English too,but hope you will understand my writing even though I've a lot of grammatical mistakes..so pardon me and I'm sorry for the mistakes) I promise I will learn English correctly in the future..
I wish you all the best for your future and thank you again!

What is best to choose in Master studies? Strategic Studies, International Political Economy, International Relations? What you suggest I am going to do my Master in international Relations
I found your video in my last year. Totally agree with you, esp the history and language. I only speak 2 languages including my mother tangue... 🌧️
Thank you for your clarification, these already helped me a lot, also are there any advice on how to navigate master degree in IR while working full time job "not related to IR" but helps me out to pay the bills while studying.
Thank you again ❤
Thank you so much for your amazing video, Rina! It was very instructive for me.
I am from Argentina and seriously considering to go to study IR in Russia. As you say, Unis like Mgimo are really expensive. I was thinking about a Maser of Global Security and Coooeration from Rudn...What are your feelings about that University and programme?
I would really appreciatte any info or advise you could give me. I have this crazy dream of understanding the world from such a far away country and perspective as Russia and may be make a living out of it...
Thanky❤

Hi! Thank you for sharing! I honestly been watching your videos since last year when I haven't decide if I'll take IR or another major but now I've decided I'll go to University and majoring in IR and it will start this August.. I wanted to ask which books would you recommend for us as an IR students to read?
lmk if someone answers
I have a question
Can I become a history teacher or a historian if I study International Relations?
I love History so much but in my city there are no history degrees to study, only Bachelor of IR and I think this might be related to History
Thanks in advance
Hi im a software engineer. ....
And im interested to study IR....is it right choice for me to switch my carrer.. Plz guide me
You havent been active for a while but i hope you can answer my question. I am currently in high school and am searching for the right path after graduation. IR seem really interesting, so according to you which university is the best in this domain ? (Where do you study ?). Thanks a lot for this interesting video !!
my question: a lot of countries operate according to their own interests first with the consideration of other countries coming second. do u feel that IR forces u to put away ur personal values and beliefs in order to prioritize the country's interests regardless of how opposed u might feel to it?
or alternatively does politics in general weigh down on ur mental health?
I'm finishing my first degree ( Mass Communication) this coming June and my plans is to do a MA in IR
Hi Rina, is there a way i can email you? I am strongly considering doing a masters in IR. I have a masters in another field of study. Need some advice if you don't mind?

yes!
Yes!
For me it’s English, Spanish, French and some Vietnamese from my girlfriend.
Just a little side note: as an interpreter and a translator I think u will need certain certifications and skills in case u would like to peruse it as well ☺️
❤❤❤

Don't forget NGO careers
So i was thinking about undergraduate in this course since last year but actually i´m still thinking doing something like biology or with an enviroment care. Do you know if i do IR i can have a job of that type? Like i knowit´s not exactly the same thing, but still like that...
also your videos are really helpful, thanky ❣
I'm doing biology and I want to drop out so bad, but it's my 3rd year so I just keep going...
@mariana wow 😕 did you dislike the degree? Or something else? Guess I'm a little worried now. Actually, I was thinking bout doing a major in biology and IR, but still don't know what to do
@@icaroluis4531 honestly, if you want to do investigation, biology it's for you, the thing is that i wanted something more "field work" oriented? and idk if it's only my university (which would make sense bc it's one of the most prestigious in Spain) but it feels like i'm doing biochemistry or medicine... :(
@@icaroluis4531 also, the educational system is different here too so i would look it up more, mine is just one pov
@mariana I get it, y'know I think bout doing my degree in Canada so I'm trying to know the best that I can about bio and IR still, after searching for a while in videos or posts, talking with people, I guess I should focus on doing international relations but I don't think like abandon biology
Your country ?
point of clarification: its not russian-ukranian conflict, its invasion))
