I'm going to see Warren with Slash in 2 days Sunday July 14th in Tucson can't wait I've seen more than many times with the Allman Brothers government mule this the first time with his own band besides going right now really looking forward to seeing him and Slash jam

My past Govt Mule Alman Brothers traveling companion will most likely be there as she is from Tuscan. It would freak he just tell her Gavin says Hi. Seen the mule with Woody and all of the iterations. Awesome. Matt Abts is a beast on the kit.

That's one of my fav Allman Bros songs. Definitely the coolest one that Dickey, duane, or Gregg didn't write. i think, maybe, that Warren and Phil Lesh's band playing before Slash's blues band is a lil backwards, but... i love them all so i can live with it. I understand how good GNR was, i grew up in it. Nothing could have stopped them from being the biggest and best rock band to ever do it, except for their singer. and he did.
I like Myles's singing a lot, but I love how Myles wraps his thumb around the bottom strings to make playing C and F chords shapes all over the neck easier. Jimi Hendrix, Mike McCready, and Bradley Nowell did it all the time. Mike is from Pearl Jam, it's sad that he and Brad from Sublime aren't really household names. They should be. Mike is a beast, and brad was the best guitarist in punk history. probably the best singer, too.

Warryn haynes battled with the best guitarist on earth for years... his name is derrick trucks. Slash is my all time fav though.. great stuff...
These three are those who impress me most. I'd add Doyle Brahmall II.
Two of my favorites together... Not a fan of Slash's solo on this one though... Myles is a great player too dont forget.
Miles did a great job When Mule did their ACDC set.
Sounds a lot like warrens
Slash never gets me when he plays blues. He is definately good at his preferred style that is a bit more rock than this. He simply is not a blues guitarist.
