Just ordered my first kit. I’m sick of spending $60 every 2 weeks to get my nails done. I love how you explained the steps and they were more like how my nail tech does it. Thanks for sharing this!!
Practice makes perfect. It's better for us to Practice then to pay 65 every 2 weeks. My mom actually doesn't like her kit and is going to give it to me.
ahhh thank you thank you for this tut it was so easy to follow and I'm very new to dip nails so I'm going to get some of these kits and start doing them at home!
Girl I followed this tutorial using all the same stuff and it’s all great quality and I can tell these nails will last but you def made this look WAY easier than it actually was 😂 the fumes kept making my eyes water and I can def see how nails can get chunky real fast but I’m so excited to do my nails again since I’ve learned from my mistakes and I think they’ll be so much better next go around 🥰
Yesss keep practicing it really gets easier!! But yes I also don’t get to close to my dip base when I apply it so I just make sure I have good lighting when doing my nails ☺️💓
Let me start by saying thank you. I recently got my nails done in acrylic overlay because I want them to grow which they are. However, I don’t like the thickness. You have sold me on this product so I am going to subscribe and after I receive my kit and do my nails I will come back and let you know how it turned out. Take care
I have a few nails that had to be permanently removed. Do you think I could use a full nail cover instead of tips and then follow your steps? It couldn’t hurt my fingers as there is no nail there. Do you think they would stay on? Btw, your videos are amazing and I’m so impressed by your expertise! 😊😊😊😊
Hi. How often can you remove the dip without damaging nail as much. I followed your steps yet few spots missing . Terrible cuticle with gel and was thinking of a redue now that I think I can do better . Lol
Love them! Have you tried using a nail pinching tool? That was a game changer for my nails! They look slimmer. Although yours look great like that 👍🏼 .
It’s to give them a “c curve”. Also mostly for me to not have a chubby nail bed, I like mine slim. I do have a long nail bed so that helps even without the pinching tool. But I like the slim look lol 😂.
at 7:20 you mentioned putting another layer of "seal protect" one more time... what is the actual name of that ? Sorry, first timer here literally doing my nails as we speak! haha
Thank you so much for this video and explaining everything!! Gonna be placing an order when I get paid again lol I don’t wanna spend $40 every 3 weeks for dip manicure at a salon so definitely will be trying this!! Thank you beautiful 😘
Do you have any tips on preventing brushes from hardening? I've been using Red Carpet Manicure and my base coat brush is constantly hardening even though I try to work quickly and wipe it off before reinserting into the bottle.
Quick question: can you still use regular color nail polish when finished with the process? If so, at what point can I apply nail polish color. Thanks in advance 😊
Hey, I’m looking at this colour and it looks stunning on you! I have a question about the colour...is the pink in it very vibrant because I’m looking for a slightly white colour and I think this may be perfect! Is this shade closer to white or pink?😊
dip powders are essentially acrilyc so there are many colors.... but honestly if you just want to have a thick nail that wont break you can use the clear dip powder and your regular nail polish or gel polish on top... and have the same effect... the benefit of the dip powder colors are that they dont chip (like gel polish or regular polish... ) when you do everyday chores like the dishes...
Why does that same color look super pink on the website? If we can’t trust the colors, what’s the point? I wanted this but won’t get it because who knows what it’ll end up looking like?
Well I personally go off swatches only with any nail brand because Ik not all colors are gonna be accurate with the picture online due to different monitor settings & resolutions. In person the colors are accurate so it would be look like the color I showed in the video!
depends the brand some brands name their primer a bonder ... some brands have a primer AND a bonder but its best to use for the manicure to last especially if its for dehydration because thats what makes the nail to stick and not lift up after a few days
So I used to soak them in acetone but noticed my natural nails were becoming damaged from the acetone so I use peel base which allows me to pop them off easily! The only down side is that with peel base you may only get a week wear time of your nails 😕
I put a drop of cuticle oil on each nail first to protect them from the drying of acetone, I then soak a cotton pad with acetone place one on each nail and then wrap my nails in foil, let them sit for 20-30 minutes and that takes them right off and I finish with more cuticle oil and lotion to keep my nails healthy! :)
it depends how fast your nails grow to be honest, its the same rule for every technique there is ... the manicure may be perfect but there would be growth...! dip powders essentially get a little less strong that build acrylic nails (because dip powders are essentially acrilyc powders used in a different way) but stronger than gel polish, its the best way to make your nail grow out without breaking!
I’ve been dipping for a few months now, the removal was a pain for me as well UNTIL.. I did the baggie method. You want to file off the top coat of your dip, heat up water in a bowl, grab a zip lock and place a napkin and some 100% acetone in there. Place the baggie inside the the bowl of water to have the heat warm up the acetone. Continuously rub your nails on the napkin hand it will literally come off in about 5-7 minutes! 👌🏻😊❤️
@@lexiliana I didn't think I was too rough when it came to filing them. I think the powder was too thick. I only dipped twice but I guess it was too much. Too heavy. Plus my nails are still kind of thin from when I got them professionally done.
Because of covid and lack of employees USPS and other mail services are struggling hard. I have friends who work in sorting and it's one person on the floor and 1000s of items that need sorting to mail.

How did it go ?
@@amarimontana2679 I haven't received them yet.
I did a terrible job but it was my first time. I got some ünt to help me practice more frequently.

wow these look so good! i didn’t know you don’t need the uv light for dip powder even though the end result looks like gel nails. thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the breakdown tips. I will try this on my nails for the holidays.
I enjoyed this tutorial I have several Rossi sets but was leery about doing it. You made it look simple and now I will definitely do it. Thank you.

You should try the gel method for dip powder if the fumes continue to bother you.
My first time using Rossi Nails was a disaster, but I’m going to try again after having watched your video. Your nails look amazing!
OMGOODNESS!! Thank you for this tutorial. It looks so easy to do myself. I am sold on trying this brand of products out.
These nails are cute & that color looks great on your nails!!
Thank you!🤍
Love it!
Yessss definitely placing an order 👏🏼😌 loved how you explained everything 💕
She did explain really good!
Thanks for sharing ! I’ve been looking for a dip powder brand. Would love to see the removal process.
Great step by step-straight and to the point 👍🏻
Thank you for posting. Love the step by step. Truly beginner friendly 🥰
I cannot believe the color selection. It is so much better than the company I just placed an order from😭
I love that color, the application looked so easy. Is there alot of filing with the brand?
Such a great video, I'm definitely buying some Rossi products tomorrow. Thank you 💅
Beautiful job!
Thx. Do you not have to use rubbing alcohol?? What happens if you get the dip plus activator on your cuticles?

Hi did you do them?
Love the color! Question is a nail driller require?
I used my nail drill and file for prepping.
You can just use your hand file for everything if you don’t have a drill! 😋

I think that it would be okay to use full cover nails, I've seen a video by Geni g where she uses full cover nails instead of nail tips
You are so pretty!
Thank you!💓💓
How long do they last and how do you remove them? Love your videos. TY.
Doesnt look like you reply to people.

Good job! I’m going to buy a kit! 😊💗
Do you think I can do only one coat instead of multiple? I like it to feel natural.
i love your lip color! What do you wear? Beautiful eyebrows as well. Do you have a certain routine you use?
The perfection!
great step by step video. What brand of "silk protect" did you use? I can't find any silk protect.
Love them! Have you tried using a nail pinching tool? That was a game changer for my nails! They look slimmer. Although yours look great like that 👍🏼 .

Love the nails? Do you know if your code works on the Canadian website?
Super Cute thanks for showing us step by step how to achieve this set🥰
thank you for watching!🤍
I really like the kit but do you happen to know a good dupe on Amazon ?
Great video. I have problems with my brush hardening and i put it in the brush cleaner each time. Any tips?

Do you think that dip or gel is easier for a first-timer? Thanks
Kit no longer offered from the link you have posted.
You didn’t apply a clear power coat? Just the color?

I love this. I am thinking about getting my own kit. What tips brand would you suggest to buy (clear & white)?
How do you remove it when you want to change the color?
Acetone works really well
How long and we'll do they last?
Do you have any tips on preventing brushes from hardening? I've been using Red Carpet Manicure and my base coat brush is constantly hardening even though I try to work quickly and wipe it off before reinserting into the bottle.
Will you ever do a gel nail polish tutorial?
Honestly probably not, I’m not a fan of doing gel polish nails on my natural nails 😩
Aw, okay! You’re tutorials are so In-depth and I love them. I’m literally just starting so it really appreciate these so much! Keep going girl!
@@jasminemariemoreno5944 thank you so much I appreciate it! 💓💓
What is the steel protector
Very pretty.
Do you suggest 3 dips?
Is needed to use the uv or led to cure them?
😍
Are Rossi, Egan and cruelty free ?
How many days does this last
I want tu do my nails now 💜🌸💚
I would love this but they don't ship to germany
Which kit is better? This one or Kiara sky ?

can we buy that set on shopee?
your nails so beautiful 😍
I'm so sad. They are sold out of belle and the 6pc nail file kit. Any other suggestions
Do you recommend a UV light to dry the nails or air dry is fine?
If air drying, how long can it take to dry?
dip powder doesn’t work with UV, but if u want to use gel or poly gel u will need a UV light
As much as I scrape the cuticles with that tool, nothing gets off all the dead skin like an e-file.
when using your base coat did the powder end up hardening the bristles ?
No! I always make sure my dipped nail is completely dry & I wipe off the excess powder before applying base coat again 😊
Do they have a matte top coat for dip powder nails?
im pretty sure you can use a gel top coat at the end and have the same results xD so yeah you can
👍👍👍👍👍

Can you soak these off?
Dip powder is acrylic !
How do you remove these? I have such a hard time removing and my nails are super damaged after.

Anyone have issues with it turning black on the second dip?
Your brows are so damn perfect and full
Does anyone have a problem where after that second time doing the activator & then top coat 2 layers - the polish becomes gooey?? Ugh so frustrating
I have only tried them once so far but didn't have that problem. Did you wait for the activator to dry before adding the top coat?
How do you remove this stuff??
How long does this last? Thank you!
Can last up to 3 weeks if you prep & apply properly! I’ve gone a month with a dip set 😊

Ask Rossi to get some stock
How do you remove them tho?!
I used to soak them in acetone with a baggie but for specific instructions look up “acetone baggie method” on UA-cam ☺️
These look really nice and all but the removal process makes me want to stick to regular polish 😣😅
I agree!! I use UNT peel base which allows me to just pop them off in a week or couple days to avoid soaking 😀
