Theirs a multi harvester mod 1 machine will top and harvest them also their is several different headers that alow you to harvest at different speeds from about 12mph to about 120 mph
@@Beyonder8335 we harvest sugar beets mid-late fall and they all get dumped in dry lots where the beet factory trucks pick them up and haul them to the plant.
@@Beyonder8335 the distance varies in time from 15-45mins in my farming area. The truckload also varies but most of the time the piles are emptied by the end of October.
in the real world, in any of 100 or so sugar beet fields around my small town, i have never seen them store beets in piles on the field. it always goes from a harvester into a tractor, which then takes it to a wash plant, which after washing then either temporarily stores the beets, or loads them into trucks which take them to processing.
@@Farm_Fan i saw both people we know harvested potatoes. First the harvwster put the potatoes in a tractor trailer and then a truck came and they loaded the truck by emptying the tractor trailer and the trucks drove straight to a fries factory ( i also saw potatoes lying on the side of the field somewhere else )
why didnt you create the mod that when you unload it does not go on the ground instead create and bin where you unload and then run on the belt to the storage
I remember thise have small storrage capacity. I rather tip it on the field my self. Whats the point of having someone else playing the game for u. Wirkers are dumb anyway, hetting stuck on lamp posts ect. They waste more time than save
Sugar beets and potatos is def my "no-do" crop. Im not doin that shi
They just seem to take too long to plant and harvest it’s not really worth it tbh
The only time they're worth doing is if you have a ton of money to buy the biggest machines and plenty of friends to move it all around
Or in my case, be an idiot who will play for 10 hours with some courseplay and autodrive

I hate sugarbeet and potatoes, only do small amounts to run factories. Nothing else.
Sugar beets around my part are most definitely not stored in the field lol.
probably a temperature thing, they rot if it's too warm so it's gotta be pretty consistently cool weather.

@@brokengamer9675 interesting. Perhaps something to do with how much trucking power you have to keep up or how far away the plant is

@@brokengamer9675 who knows. Ik it’s common practice in a lot of areas though, so clearly there’s some reason for it.

In my village, they were always stored in the field before being loaded onto trucks and taken to the sugar factory :D

Never once thought about doing root crops dont like harvesting at 4 rows.
The T4-40 harvester mod makes them tolerable to harvest. It has some unreal options too.
Get the Collasus harvester mod, you can harvest 50meter wide if you want, at 120mph
@@chrisjones6002I installed that one, but keep forgetting I have it to try it out lol
Like your video and your farm
we had that i fs13
the mod is called root crop storage
i have such a mod since fs 17...
Its kinda funny how they didnt include it is fs 22 becauae you had one as default i ls13
Cant just use a multifruit silo?
No you cant
@Hockeyplays for sugar beets? Yes you can. Just not bales.
I use multi fruit silo so much easier
What is the mod called?
What is the mods name

This mod has been out for 2 years
Carrots?
The premium expansion added carrots parsnips and red beets
how to download on nintendo switch lite fs nintendo edition
This mod sucks, the capacity doesn’t come close to the amount needed for root crop harvests. I need 6 for one harvest
Ciekawie kiedy wróci do nagrywania po polsku
who even does sugar beets or potatoes in farm sim
Sugar beets the only reason I didn't quit after FS11
I only do other crops because of realism.
and has been out for ages!!!
Also doesnt work with AI
Game counts it as a silo, so as long as the mod author has done their splines correctly, the AI will be able to dump at it/load from it.
@@Comic_Saens the modder didn't. There isn't a vehicle/trailer combination in game of on modhub that can use AI with it
@@_Wheels_21 autodrive... It doesn't need splines as you put the route in
