I just finished listening to "Monsters" for the first time. For me, those 4 tracks are everything music should be. That was one of those emotional and positive musical experiences that doesn't happen often and when it does, it's really special, and when it happens for me it's usually just one song that grabs me like that. Four in a row was a real treat. Thank you, VOLA. Looking forward to hearing more.
Still one of my favorite Vola songs, many years later. I often find myself singing the chorus randomly.
same
I love that!
I beg to differ...that intro was agreeably tight, but once the vocals started, and they were CLEAN, I knew I had stumbled upon something truly amazing. Greatest musical discovery of the year by far...cannot wait to hear more!
This song is everything I didn't know I was missing.
The solo, the intro, the chorus, everything is just incredible, thanks for the music VOLA
Definitely one of their best songs still. Just incredible feelings of what our life has brought us to with that ending.
That piano at the ending part, omfg, one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.
Everything this band records is a masterpiece. Don't stop here!
@@HeirApparentxbl Funny, they've become my favorite band since I posted that comment.
I saw them perform this live on their Scandinavian tour, but acoustically. How is this band so absolutely perfect? I always come back to this video from time to time, there's something about seeing details in this abstract drawing that feels...relatable. I swear, sometimes it feels like this band knows me better than I know myself.
Please do a guitar play-through of this. If you’re feeling generous a full studio play-through with the band would be pretty amazing also. Love this song and Whaler
I heard VOLA on a spotty playlist a few years ago and I liked it, I came upon their new stuff and gave it a listen and I liked it. Now I'm listening to their older stuff and I love it.
Surprisingly hard to play. Despite figuring out what notes are played, the timing on the guitar fucks me up every time. Kudos to the composer. These guys are highly underrated.
The few guitar solos they do, are pretty epic. This one is the best.
Amazing...and insane....
I love your music, Vola.
Simply amazing. So happy your EP was added to Spotify.
Really glad I checked out the rest of their discography after Inmazes, but I'm kinda bummed that they dont list on Amazon for this EP or for the new album coming out.
i love it when they start the song in the sky
THIS 🙌 you summed it up perfectly 🤌
@@ewanrhys8097 \m/ peace to you fam
3:30 enjoy the EPIC GUITAR, the top moment of this master opus
Great Track! won't lie.. after the intro, was expecting some harsh vocals.. but the track works well with the cleans.. looking forward to the album release!
Awesome! You guys deserve so much more attention. :)
Awesome tunes!
Very Nice! Mindscape Likes it!
beautifull :D shiet yeah!
everything was good... until those vocals started.
His vocals are defining, love em.
He's only improving as time's gone on. I hope you've continued to listen.
Vola is not a grunge band. That's why I like them. They use grunge as a tool for contrast, it's a means to an end, not an end. In their EPs and Inmazes in particular, the ugly beginning makes the beauty of the latter parts of the songs that much more pronounced. If that's not what you're looking for, there are plenty of grunge bands. I'm glad there's Vola, because for me it's better than any grunge. Meshuggah may have invented djent and all of the other stuff that goes with it, but that is all that they do. Vola figured out how to incorporate that sound into something that's much more, like an orchestra that brings in a new instrument.
Yeah, sorry, this is flame-war material. I don't intend on starting an argument. You can enjoy Meshuggah and similar. I'll enjoy Vola.
