Worked great for my circumcision. Very fast. Result was a lil shorter than i expected though
Damn you’re lucky. My cutting wheel was dull so it took a long time. Real scabby job.
My tin snips were rusted to hell but got the job done.
😂еврей?
😂😂😂🎉
😂😂😂
I never have the luxury of having that much room around the copper I need to cut.
As an hvac man same bro…… same
Yea it's probably not for repairs, probably for cutting down time on builds
Boy isn’t that the truth…… I can barely get both hands in there at the same time.
I was thinking the same thing! Because usually when I'm doing a job the space is very limited.
Exacto
I have the Dewalt pvc cutter and it does not cut the pipe straight. It flexes the pipe before cutting, and then when it pierces it springs back, creating an uneven cut. I will probably never use it again because of that reason.
Only good for when dismantling old pipe that is going to the trash anyways. Makes it a faster job.
How sharp is the cutting blade? Is there a chance that it needs to be sharpened?
@2jpu524 It should not need to be sharpened straight out of the box. Besides it's not meant to be razor sharp.
Any force used to push a blade through a tough material will always be too much for thinner walls and too little for thicker walls.
These tools only work in the avg material dewalt chooses to have as their testing/design sample. So on the worksite you will be using a variety and they will be thinner and weaker walls so the pipe crushes or thicker and the cutter struggles and leaves rough edges etc if it makes it all the way through.
These are TOY TOOL gimmicks. They look cool but are ultimately a waste of money and tool bag space. It's better to have a selection of other tools that achieve the same result and less likely to leave you screwed on site when it fails to work and you've got no hand tools or skill in using them.
A drill a driver and a saw that all that is needed in a power tool kit. Everything else is Gucci and surplus to necessity.
Get the milwaukee pipe cuters, works great, cuts everything no problems
I need a bigger one to cut off those pesky catalytic converters from all those cars in the next neighborhood over.😊
Ha ha good sarcastic humor
Ye in a criminal sense
that's what dewalt was made for@@Stuart68505
Only a mug uses cats.
Well make sense but dewalt will not be cought in this issue.
Im a plumber and that will never replace quality manual pipeslices.
Uh yes it will on new work silly
I can cut faster than that with my Lenox copper cutters. With a new blade and wd-40 I can get through an inch pipe in 2 rotations lol
Said every old head ever 😂😂😂
Construction industry is still stuck in the Industrial Age
@369ZIR yeah he's acting like traditional cutters don't get loose lolol
@@369ZIR I’m 28….. I agree, don’t have to be an old head to not be a dumbass that buys anything red and shiny 🤷♂️ do the job for a while and you might understand
I 100% need this. Now I need to find some pipe and some reasons to cut them.
Got to say the milwaukee copper tubing cutter is better its a stand alone tool and does ½ ¾ 1" without swapping parts and will definitely get into more places. Milwaukee pvc cutter will get into more places cuts up to 2" but not a perfect cut but close
Ok there Milwaukee sales guy, how much more is it ??
@@weldinggirl nope not sales just used them both just about everyday for the last 3 years. Definitely more expensive but if it allows you to carry less into a basement or crawl space and get you out faster it's worth it. ⏳=$$$$
@@weldinggirl see them used on my local buy and sell for about 100 bucks(canadian...so like 65-70us) pretty often.
I wish they had the Milwaukee thirty years ago and I wouldn’t have arthritis in my hands so bad. I picked one up about eight years ago and absolutely love it.
Almost every used one I see I has a full blade but are they replaceable?
The little twist on cutters can never be replaced. It's not that long of a process to validate spending a lot on a big clunky attachment, unless you've got loads of space and are cutting tubes and pipes for hours on end.
Yup, talk about a power tool not needed.
I use the M12 milwaukee tubing cutter. Way better when running copper all day
Exactly
So like construction sites that require 1 guy making cuts and one guy dry fitting something??
I'm sure the PVC cutter will work wonders
cutting carrots, cucumbers, celery, fingers... 😳
😂
I like what DeWalt was getting at with this but I opted for the M12 version instead. The auto size adjusting the ability to do cuts close to walls is a must have for me in HVAC.
Totally would have bought a DeWalt 12v version of they sold one.
Same company
Different companies? TTI / Stanley & Black and Decker
They're even owned by different investment firms too.
That tool did a nice job cutting out the part where you disassemble the support arm from the bracket...
😂
The copper cutter would be awesome if it can cut EMT
Man I love tools. I mean, I don't even remotely need that thing... but I'm gonna get it. So cool.
Mindless consumer
@@tomalophicon spoken like a true pseudo Marxist that has only held 1 tiny tool in his hand his wholelife
@@tomalophiconokayyy let’s keep it real. You don’t own anything that you don’t use ? 🤔🤔
"mindless" either way tools are a good investment and if he ever needs it he will have it. Tools are fucking awesome
@@peytonhorn2833 If it's an "if he ever needs it", it's just an expense, not an investment.
I was talking to my buddy about this...I was saying that if you need a power tool version of these things you're probably doing it enough where you'll just buy a dedicated tool instead of this bulky adapter. As a homeowner if I'm cutting pipe I'll just use a hacksaw cause it's one pipe I need to fuck with not 50.
Why not rotary tool or angle grinder? As long as you deburr it it always works for me and you don't have to worry about it fitting between the pipe and the wall/stud
Funny cause I just commented a simplified version of the same point. If u need this u are either cutting alot or virtually none at all
Ok not for you lol, simple.
Hacksaw is so bad lol. Last resort shit
There's a reason it's called a "hack"saw.
Dewalt dos make Some good stuff, love the impact drills are top notch
Impact driver. Unless you are talking about a hammer drill.
@@0Wheezy Google Dewalt impact drill goofy, this drill comes up because it's not and impact driver it's an impact drill 😂
Fuckin basketball folk think they're bright 😂
@@Crackrocksteady nah that's just Google accounting for yours and several other people's stupidity. It knows you are putting it in wrong and accounts for that. Impact driver, rotary hammer or hammer drill are the 3 options.
@@Crackrocksteady oh and by chance I happen to own the same model of impact as the one in the video, and it literally says "impact driver" in plain English on the side of the tool where the specs are listed.
Nice invention: especially helpful is designing it so it can be used with other manufacturer’s impact drivers.
Been waiting for stuff like this. Nice.
That's good tools👍
Thanks for sharing what exactly is it called
The pipe cutter hand tool works just fine for me
I'm not even a plumber 🤔 but I want one
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Real plumbers don't use this crap
@@richardcorrigan6940 Yeah it’s unwieldy for operating in tight spaces. Probably best for builders and companies that prep/sell piping who have room and repetitive needs.
That's why he wants one... because hes not a plumber...
A plumber would know better..
dewalt has a circle saw attachment to pvc too. you just put your dewalt speed square against a pvc pipe and then run your circle saw along the square while squeezing the trigger. And it even works on all the pipe sizes if you rotate the pipe.
Yeah, I’ve had metal cutting shears that connected to the same thing for a couple of years now and they work pretty good, very similar to the PVC cutter set up
Thats a neat tool, wonder what kinda space you can work in with it.
Wish I had that to go with the rest of my DeWalt tools!😍
I have these tools and I freaking love them especially the pvc cutters. The copper ones are ok but where I live pex is what everyone uses so anytime I deal with copper it’s taking it out or minor repairs.
The amount of clever ways that a “thing that spins” can be used to solve so many specific tasks is mind boggling 😂
Wow! I love how you can take it out and use it manually if needed.
For folk's that might not know as I discovered by accident there are adapters avaliable on feebay that will adapt the dewalt 20V batteries to most brand's of tool's.... There are also generic adapters with switch and fuse that mated with a led light fixture makes the best flashlight you have ever owned..... For the amount invested anyways.....
i would like dewalt to come out with their version of the propress
so cool this staff.
Milwaukee has had those cutters for years lol😂
The Milwaukee version doesn't require changing dies - it auto adjusts to any size (i think it is from ½ to 1½ but im not sure)
Cracking little tool
Simply outstanding!👏👏👍👍👍
Damn those are nice
That's actually super cool. It's like a ratcheting line wrench for cutting.
Thanos gauntlet😂
The cartel will have a blast with this
"Hola senor, I need the DeWalt Torture Pro Flexvolt set with the angle grinder, chain saw, pipe cutter, jump starter and 240 large plastic bags please."
"Hahahaha you are funny man. You don't really need 240 plastic bags right?"
"No I do. It's for a wedding senor."
Wish next they would come up with cable lug crimper. Like this.
More gizmos for my plastic purchases. Should buy one to cut my plastic cards with.
I have the same problem.
This is great, it will really make things easier at my bris this weekend.
No need , never forgot how to use my RIGID Manual cutter😊
Don't forget to bring your work bench with built in vise to the job site for PVC cutting.
As always dewalt delivers awsome tools..
Love DW
Brilliant design
lolz at that thing wobbling around making a crap cut in the coopper
I love my Milwaukee tubing cutter, but sometimes it does struggle with half-inch
I need this
“To disconnect it, you just disconnect it”
Can’t wait for dewalt branded dead space equipment
But what else can I cut!? Lol
Incredible 👍
Just need them to make a version of the pro-press
About time!
I want this for EMT
Wow love how u can use it by hand how straight are the pvc cuts this would be great for me as an hvac tech I cut both all the time
I used to use a hacksaw or a manual hand power tube cutter for that.
That's awesome
Now if they can only make one to do all of my electrical stuff 😅😂⚡⚡
The mafia is interested in that finger remover.
Their sheet metal cutter for ductwork is awesome too.
Bro I need the smallest copper cutter ever 😂 my space is limited
Man if Milwaukee had both of these tools for years
Serious overkill😂
Very cool
awesome invention, love that ❤
Nice tool.
My house does NOT allow that much room to use that. 😂😂
That cutter is nice though.
Overall -- not bad. 💯
Manual works just as well on pvc. Start the cut, spin the cutters and you get a nice clean cut in seconds.
These things are ridiculous. No professional is going to use this.
Especially after he showed you can just use it like a regular old ass hand powered pipe cutter. At that point, what even is the point in having the impact connect if you're just going to use hand tools? This is dumb and unnecessary.
Are you a professional plumber or electrician? If no then don't speak for those of us who are
@@joeym3147 not a plumber or electrician. I’m an hvac technician so I do work with pipe professionally.
@@89dhvac ahhh okay, personally I'm an electrician and can think of a few times where a tool like this would be great to have. I agree with some opinions that it's very bulky and a tad ridiculous but seems like a nice alternative then buying a separate tool like a sawsall
@@joeym3147 I get it. I just think if someone needs a dedicated tool like this, it would make more sense to buy one like the Milwaukee tubing cutter…their copper cutter is around $100 and their pvc cutter isn’t much more….iirc that’s not much, if any, more than these things. Plus, then you don’t have to take a contraption on and off your driver. I’m actually about one boiler install away from buying a milwaukee tubing cutter 😃
Seems way better than the Milwaukee one where they build a whole tool rather than an attachment like DeWalt did..
Awesome!
Honey wake up the new torture line is out!
You better have plenty if room around whatever you want to cut. That thing ain't squeezing in nowhere
DeWalt has gone so crazy with their line that they had to shut down the business because everyone working there had to be committed to a mental health facility. That’s how CRAZY it is!
Have both, Milwaukee and Dewalt, the Dewalt has yet to leave the van. The Milwaukee is awesome.
Awesome
Good tools are Money!
I want one
Lol gotta wait till Milwaukee comes out with one of these 😂 if they haven’t already
They already have them, and they're better
They have had them for years and they are much better
milwaukee had this over 5 years ago
Good luck getting THIS one out of the bosses truck
DEWALT went AMD on all other manufacturers 🤣🤣🤣👌
Milwaukee had the copper cutter 8/10 years ago
Same company
I wish they made a riveting tool that attaches to the drill. I know they make a separate sale item but it’s pricey.
Looks like something from the future
Ratcheting PVC cutter is much smaller and lighter and almost as fast. If the copper pipe cutter was made for soft copper (as in it’s not going to be too aggressive and crimp it) I might use it on a refrigerant line, assuming I had enough space to do so.
This tools is for the pipes that are in the center of the room.
Milwaukee's been doing this for a long time
I love dewalt tools!
They were better before they got bought out.
Yes just several years behind Milwaukee
milwaukee been making those for years already.
I'm not sure how much copper and PVC pipe I would need to be cutting to make this worth the price. Also, I rarely have that much space around an existing pipe for cutting.
Now that’s bad ass right there
That would be good in tight spots
*Güzel aletmiş çok işlevsel* 😊
Yeah, my husky handhelds work pretty darn good...
In the new SAW movie 🎬 they have this on some guys slong 😂
The Milwaukee PVC cutter is less than $200 and works way better than that DeWalt cutter. 90% of the time I prefer DeWalt, but go for the M12 Milwaukee PVC cutter over the DeWalt people, trust me
So far behind Milwaukee!😅😅😅
