Here because he's been around for decades and instead of talking about TV shows I watch, I wanted to say that he's a great artist and a wonderful voice and human being. I truly don't care about anyone's TV preferences besides maybe Ryan's
Ryan is a national treasure. Is it weird that I harmonize to all his music and then sing along? He's truly a gift. Glad he's making music and giving us all a road map to our emotions.
I've only just discovered this man in the last 2 years and this song is beyond incredible because he sounds the same live as he does on the album , beautiful voice and lyrics
@@keithsaulsbury4304the girlie thingy was exactly that, A DIVERSION: I wrote everything he says he did for 16 albums …doesn’t mean the arrangements aren’t really good or diminish from this talent
I came across this song by chance watch Austin City Limits. I was still dealing with the death of my mother and this song helped me grieve for her. She always told me what I needed to hear and would take me down a peg if I was being silly about something. I recently got the nerve to play this song at one of my shows and dedicated it to her and felt my soul feel a little more at peace about it all. ♥️

Adams has been really busy recording and performing with the revamped Cardinals. I don't know if he can regain the lost ground of the past several years. Momentum means a lot in the music business.
Why not just enjoy the music and performance and away with the negativity. His image, hair, and clothes are part of the artistic thoughts he brings to the stage. Amazing artist and under appreciated.
Without drugs he reverts to his true nature, HES SHY........Hence the Hair in the eyes instead of Sunglasses inside or at night. Its like his Teddy Bear he sleeps with.

Ryan probably applies this to a friend he lost, but I hear an instance of decades duration where he used my creative accumulation, at no remuneration to me , or even acknowledgement, and never attempted contact with the author of his first 16 releases…
Adam’s source for my lyrics contracted with me to “ make me famous” if they were going to use my portfolio: those musicians simply stole that body of work and never honored that contract.

Sounds just like the record. Self titled was and is so amazing.

A worldly treasure ✌️
Great comment. I just saw him tonight. Still pretty buzzed by his music. He is awesome. 😊
@@musicismagic3001 is he playing a raw set? Aka by himself?
Thanks, and I know he intends that and his delivery reinforces that…However, I wrote it
Those are my words, they weren’t all that emotionally driven

This is one of my all-time favorite songs of his and it's relatively new. Songwriting never goes out of style.
+Anson Burtch Agreed
@Callum Emery Yea, been using instaflixxer for months myself :D
DRA, you break my heart every fucking time. Thank you for that.
Same.
"My thoughts inside my head get lost inside their haunted house." Songwriting genius.
I was at this show at moody theater in Austin. He is such an amazing singer songwriter
my favorite song ever glad to see he’s back ripping it up
One of my all-time favorites of his...amazing and sounds just like the recorded version!
You can’t cancel talent
Amen.
just because someone is insanely talented doesn't make them a good person. hell look at Chuck Berry. it doesn't detract from the talent.

My mum passed away almost a year ago but still cannot elaborate it. I’m protecting myself with anxiety and can’t let the dam break
Ryan wrote it about the death of his grandmother😢

Wow. Hall of fame performance..
I wrote the storyline: good musician, this guy= FUCKING UNBELIEVABLE GUITARIST

A. get a haircut
B. get Jason Bateman to play you in a movie
C. I love Ryan Adams
+Wes Veitch
A. Yes
B. Yes
C. Yes
Why should he get a haircut? He is who he is and that's a good thing I suppose! If you need other people who tell you how to be go to the army ;)

I love this song. Does anyone know the meaning of this song?
It's about his dead grandparents wh effectively raised him.

his childhood friend allen. he wrote heartbreaker in Allens living room when he moved back home after whiskeytown
Springsteen could have sung this. My fav.
