Among foreigners, the most famous cities are Warszawa, Kraków and Gdańsk, and there are many more wonderful cities to visit, both large and small. Feel invited to Poland :)
I visited Warsaw and Poland 5 years ago, this video brings back memories! I think I ate at the same restaurant you guys were eating haha. I really liked Poland, so many beautiful cities. There is also a lot of difficult history, but it's worth learning about it. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip!
Awe I missed so much!! For some reason this is the first video of y’all’s in my subscription feed in a while. I’ll have to go back and watch what I’ve missed! So excited for your Polish adventures! My husband and I both have Polish ancestry and Warsaw has been on our list forever! 💗
Aw no worries Hailey, I am sorry the youtube algorithm hasnt been showing you are videos :( honestly we have no idea how it works haha We were so impressed by Warsaw it is such a beautiful city! Thanks for watching Hailey! :)
Which history? All Warsaw Has been completely destroyed during the II war. All you can see in this video Has been rebuilt after the war. Nothing is original. Kraków is much better. All the town is original and very old.
Guys I really enjoyed this video! I like how you explaining everything :) I was looking for some vloga from warsaw as I am going there next month and found your channel.. will definitely stay with you!
Actually you were looking at the oldest, in big part authentic medieval part of City walls. Big chunks of Old Town walls were reused as a construction for newer tenement houses, so they survived, and now they are only partly reconstructed. The Old 700 yrs and Old New (600yrs) Warsaw are a patchwork of authentic fragments and reconstruction. It is on the UNESCO list 😊
Most of the Poles, especially Warsavians used to say: The best place in Warsaw to look at Warsaw is the top of the Palace of Culture and Science. It is just because that's the only spot in the city, where you can't see this "Stalin's present". : ]
I you want to see Poland that wasn’t destroyed during WW2 go to Kraków, the Nazis liked it so much they forbade carpet bombing it. So Kraków is even older than Warsaw and all original.
Krakow is dignified, majestic the older capital of Poland, so inhabitants of Kraków often hold contempt for Warsaw. Those cities are different, both are atractive, have various vibes. Warsaw is a Phoenix City, and not all the buildings are new, as maliocius Cracovians may suggest ;-)
I know some things about Warsaw Poland and that was it was the first Country to be took by the Nazi's and the cause of the beginning of WW2 and Warsaw was totally destroyed by Germany and turned into a Ghetto that is why many of the buildings were built after WW2 but they were still under the Soviets iron curtain
Lovly that you enjoy "my" town :). But as a generations Warsaw Pol I will give you good advise: If you want to gein our full respect, do not call our naigbers Nazis and Soviets. Study the maps :) XO
Right, historically though. Those we're Poland's neighbours during Warsaw's dark past as we mentioned, when it was occupied. Hope that clarifies it. Thanks for watching!
@@KeithandDev what he meant is they were specifically Germans and Russians; not nazis and soviets, not italian, japanese or ukrainian nazis but GERMAN (nazis), it is very important to stick to the historical data, we know exactly who were our ennemies, historia magistra vitae/ lovely couple, tx for the upload
This video has made me add Warsaw to my ‘must go’ destination list

Chopin's father was French his mother was Polish. So it is a French surname with French pronunciation.

Warsaw? It doesn't stand up to comparison with Krakow, Lublin. Even Bialystok is more interesting.
Lier
Hopefully one day we can visit those places as well :)
