    I don't care too much about the stock sounds because I always prefer to listen to EZdrummer. Once you listen to vst drum you don't want to hear thinner drums

      I can’t disagree! I think that these companies either need to step their sounds or try and partner.

      If these companies make the module sound better, not only would it cost a lot more, as they are lower-end low-budget e-kits, but there would have to make a lot of improvements to the kits to even justify better sounds and then they would be higher-end e-kits and very expensive. Ezdrummer does improve sounds, but... In my opinion, it is worth just getting a high-end e-kit that not only has great sounds but actually functions, feels, and plays just like an accustic kit rather than just a toy of a drum kit.

      I wouldn’t say low budget e drums are toys but high end ones are very pricey and can be overpriced just to get an acoustic sound and feel…. Might as well buy an acoustic kit which will cost lower in my opinion ….. i don’t think you would buy a beginner an expensive e drum to find out it may be a good investment or a waste of time…… all opinion

      @@styls3429 exactly. They are overpriced. That's why with a cheap ekit it makes sense to get a decent vst for drums.

      @@KeithronPowellsir, taking notes for a drum set purchase. Ezdrummer a must have for electric? Thank you. I’m trying to figure out what would be best electric or acoustic. Cheers

    It is nice to see lower-end low-budget e-kits up against each other to find out the better one. The problem I have with budget friendly e-kits is they are all toys of what a drum set should be like. As a drummer myself I can only recommend getting an accustic kit or a high-end e-kit. High-end e-kits will function 99.9% just like an accustic kit and will teach you how to play drums properly. You can learn the very basics on a lower-end budget friendly e-kit as they do not function like an accustic kit or how a high-end e-kit should perform. So if you take what you learned on a lower-end budget friendly e-kit and go and play a high-end e-kit or an accustic kit because the sensitivity, dynamic range, feel, number of playable zones, bigger realistic size pads, and superior sound is so different there will be a relearning curve to get used to how a drum set should and does function. If you want to learn guitar do you get a toy guitar to start with that only sounds, and plays sonewhat like a real guitar? Then why buy a lower-end e-kit that only functions somewhat like an accustic kit or high-end e-kit? I understand that good higher-end e-kits are expensive but they are way woth saving up for and in the long run you will save money rather than just buying a budget friendly e-kit, only to spend a lot more money down the road in upgrades or then buying a higher-end e-kit.

      I’m a drummer and I started with a cheap drum pad… you don’t spend $3000 on a beginner. He’s not going to learn more from that kit. Not to mention you don’t know if he/she will continue to play.. then you’ll end up selling your child’s expensive set for almost nothing … that’s how I got my 7 piece Pearl. So, while you make valid points about high end e-kits being close to an acoustic… to suggest anyone buy this for a beginner… just makes no logical sense. Not to mention most of the people on here are all interested in these kits because they’re cheaper. I play drums and I’ve played for years now. I literally, just played drums on a track that’ll be coming out on Spotify and all other formats… I played the drums on my SD1250 using EZD. I wouldn’t BUY the Alesis Strata or any Strike Pro. Why? Over kill for my situation. I can accomplish the same thing in the 1250. Now here’s the other thing… and expensive drum is NOT going to make you a better drummer.. its not gonna make you learn better. I learn all my chops on a drum pad and playing on my knees. Why? Because I never owned an actual set until I was almost 30. Yet, I got to play with bands. Why? Because I got good! Really freaking good. So, the moral it’s not the drum set it’s the drummer. And to answer your question your question.. I wouldn’t buy a $2000 or more guitar for a beginner… I’d get a $200 acoustic guitar and get them some lessons. Reason 1) I don’t know if they will even take it seriously (which is why I stopped doing drum lesson and closed my drum school) and 2) they may not even have the talent to pick it up.

    Dear Keithron!
    First of all thnx for the, once again, amazing Comparison Video..
    But ...
    As long as I'm watching your Channel i think that you're going crazy If you ever had the Chance to put your Hands on the Millenium MPS 850 at least... meanwhile there's a lot of Upgraded Versions like the MPS 1000 or MPS 750pro which also had the look of an fully Acoustic Set...
    I know it's hard to get these Kits overseas but i really would love to see YOU checkin' them Out...
    Maybe there's a Chance to call them and make them popular in the States too...
    There's so much valour for Money. .
    Otherwise....
    I also would appreciate an Comparison between the Alesis Nitro Max and the Donner DED 200 Max ..
    That would be awesome. .
    'til then still wath yo Channel 'cause it's about to go Down 😉🥁👍🏻🥁

    fesley 1000. It's a great drum set but the issues I have with it so far is the hi-triggering isn't great and the toms mesh heads are very springy. I found the snare to not be as bad. Also the module is very limited I didn't find basic triggering settings only ''sensitivity'' that being said it's still better than the alesis nitro by a mile

      @davidcotestratton Місяць тому

      also the kick feels really good! way better than I expected

    • @Iamadrummer
      @Iamadrummer Місяць тому

      You say the Fesley 1000 is a great kit, then list a bunch of problems. Because of the issues you mention and more this is not and can not be a great e-kit. As a drummer myself, I can not recommend lower-end e-kits as they all have issues and cons of some kind. Also they only function about 25% like an actual drum set should. If you want to really learn drums or get better at drums and you want an e-kit I can only recommend and suggest getting a high-end e-kit. High-end e-kits feel, sound, have dynamic range, multiple zones on all the pads, and play 99.9% like an accustic kit. If you take what you learned on a lower-end e-kit and try to play an accustic kit or a high-end e-kit you will find it very hard to do and there will be a relearning curve as you get used to how a proper drum set should perform, sound and feel over the toy you learned on.

      The Fesley has great hardware the software is where it struggles. The thing is if you plug into a computer and use something like EZDrummer then it changes everything. Thats my only issue. For beginners this is great because it will force them to learn. Once they move to an acoustic or a higher end drum all that hard work will be evident.!

    Can I buy a Fesley hi hat and put it on the Simmons drum set? Has anyone ever tried it?

    • @Jcage22
      @Jcage22 Місяць тому

      the closing hi hat is linked to the trigger. since the 50 doesn't have that, the opening and closing may get in the way, as the trigger on the 50 is a chain-free triggering pedal. definitely worth a try

    • @Iamadrummer
      @Iamadrummer Місяць тому

      There are not enough settings in the Simmons module to make the Fesley, or any electronic hi-hat work properly. Also the Fesley hi-hat is not that great and does not function as well as a good higher-end electronic hi-hat. Simmons sadly as I have spoken with them have no plans to make their kits more accustic like. They do not see the point of comming out with a hi-hat on a stand in saying they make electronic drum kits and if you want a more accustic realistic kit just get an accustic set. I said that drummers want an e-e-kit to keep the noise level down and have the realism of an accustic kit. They told me there are plenty of e-kits out there that do that and they do not see the point inorder to keep their e-kits budget friendly as they are e-kits and not accustic drum sets.

      It's disappointing that more kits in this price range don't offer a real hi-hat. IMO it's the only thing that keeps the Fesley on my list. I wouldn't mind buying a separate one if it would easily integrate with a Simmons or Alessis kit either.
