I am now honoring my Dad a deceased Korean War Veteran who was on Guard Duty there, joined the USA Army 1946, did not see any war action. Received Honorable Discharge received the G. I. Bill when he came home; went on to Whittier College in California: Graduated With a BA and a Minor in Business took care of His Family, Worked a office job hiring new employees for: Whittier Pipe and Supply, later Retired as a Stockbroker. I am so proud of our Father USA Army Veteran buried As a Private Next to his beloved wife.

Glad you enjoyed yourself here in OC. I live right off PCH in Huntington Beach. Yes, we hear the road racers (super cars) pretty much daily all through the day & night. Mostly loud motorcycles. That’s why when the wife and I go to Palm Springs about every 8-10 weeks, we are SO grateful for the quietness of the day. We usually rent a house in South PS for about 4-days. Have a safe drive back.

Greetings Matt. You mentioned that people ask you why you don’t leave California. Realizing that California bashing is fashionable, it still seems to be an odd question. To rephrase it: “Why don’t you leave your longtime home where you have laid roots, raised a family and build a successful business?” Again, I get the popular “get the heck out of California because it’s crumbling” philosophy. But people will go to or stay in places that suit their various needs and desires. And those places will vary from person to person. You should not feel pressured to move unless you genuinely want to. Haven’t really heard you express anything about it one way or the other up until now. Do you picture yourself residing somewhere different in the future? (Obviously, if that’s too personal, just disregard).
The noise from the super cars is terrible. It is very rude and inconsiderate. These owners are narcissists so they do not give a damn about anyone. They should be ticketed.
