When you said you could shoot over Anfield to good effect without risking hitting him, I have to admit I was expecting an appended "unless you want to"
You guys are all missing the point of the first tip. If you play aggressive you should adapt to your and especially the enemy team. In the clip the is7 and the other t10 tanks were on the other flank, so he could easily push in also he had a shitload of tds backing him up. If that isn't the case in your battle you shouldn't be so aggressive. Btw lemming nice vid as always.
Rng Adept The play didnt rely on bouncing the shell from the TD.. I left that engagement with 2300 hp to spare. I absolutely could've taken multiple hits from that 704 and it still would have worked.
IS-7 is actually one of the best Heavy scouts because of the high top speed(and decent hp/t to get there, despite ground resistance) and relative lack of turret weakspot. Can even use optics. I mean, what else are you going to do? Try to snipe enemies with one of the lowest DPM/pen/accuracy of all tier X heavies?
As someone who often drives Heavies, I really appreciate this advice. I definitely agree that spotting can be a huge help in Heavies. US Heavies are especially good at this, because they have fantastic view range. It wasn't uncommon back in the day to see T29s printing Patrol Duty medals.
i still laugh everytime i see heavy tanks doing what TD's should do then having an unarmored TD do the role of a heavy tank and then die getting 3-4k damage and the heavies complaining about how shit the TD player was. xD
Thank you, so many people that make videos seem to specialize in lights only and no heavies. You adding this helped me wrap up the trouble I was having with heavies. I wasnt aggressive enough. Cheers
Exactly my point.... If a person considers himself a Pro isn't he supposed to be fine with regular ammo?! Like Taugrim does?! Anfield, what about checking Taugrim?!
Thanks, man. I really enjoy all your videos, and I find them very helpful. The way that you focus on particular aspects of gameplay makes the ideas easily digestable. Your explanations are always clear and you show good examples.
Dear LemmingRush! I was a 800wn8 bot at 2k matches then i found your channel and stream. Now im at 6,5k matches and 1800wn8 and its growing every day. My recent 30d is 2500+ every month, so thanks for these videos man!! :D
TBH hearing the way that you were describing this, I thought it was the same as your TD video, until around the 2 minute mark where I heard the difference in your voice and you were seriously making that work.
This is by far the most useful video for me. I play a lot of heavy tanks, and always seems to depend more on luck than skills. One thing I didn't think about is tall german tanks blocking teammate's gun, excellent tip there.
Holy crap I never was able to play corners with my friends because we didn’t understand how the pros did it or the UA-camrs did it. Of course we watched videos and stuff but no one said the simple statement of don’t press a and d. You saying that has for some reason changed how I play with my friends and made this game so much more fun for us. Thank you so so much. This was probably one of the most simple yet useful things I have learned in wot.
Id like to see a video like this geared to the everyday battles. Not just top tier in the most OP heavy in game, in a platoon, lol. not everyone has access to the most ideal setups possible every match
My win rate has improved to 37% after trying your method . Thank you for making me a better tanker and I look forward to the rest of your videos in this series, and so on and so forth....😉 ps. The only Improvement I have is that I use camo nets on my heavies when I scout.
Really useful insights. Tip #1 is breaking up those "metatrolls" crying for spotters while camping on TD spots. Tip# 4 and 5 are just plain solid, but Tip#3 is something i honestly never payed attention to. Gud Jobo.
I was laughing at your first tip initially thinking this was gonna be like your how to play tds video, but in the end i think this was very useful. Its nice to see one of the better players trying to move people away from the typical wot mentality of heavies go there lights go to that bush and meds flex the ridge, and actually encourage people to asses the situation!
Thanks for the tips man, I finally got my E 100 which is my first tier 10 tank. But as soon as I took it into battle, people were so toxic they were practically threatening to report me for playing badly. It’s really hard to learn on my own without getting the hate.
as avarage wot player i find this type of vids realy helpfull, i remember when i start understeanding game and discover xvm i have 7k battles and 750wn8, after learning from this type of vid i have 14k games and 1400 wn8. aswell as win ratio going from 48% to 51%. all thanks to guys like you,, love your videos,, keep up with that
I like the idea of the heavies pushing. Lately, I have had games with the heavies sitting in the rear till end game. I am not a heavy tank player myself but I hope those that do find your tips helpful. :D
One of the changes (actually from before this video was made) is that light tanks were given an increased ability to spot tanks, particularly stationary ones. At the same time, they are more difficult to spot. This helped increase their effectiveness in the scouting role. Unfortunately, players rarely actually scout in their light tanks, instead choosing to play as if they were mediums.
i like playing German heavies but im a bit of a scrub so this video has a lot of excellent tips which ill be sure to try out. i would love to see videos like this on other tank types in future.
Lemming, this is a really nice style of video, I think. Short and sweet. Might have been better had you included a live-commentary example game which showcases a lot of your tips being utilized, but I understand that it's not always so easy to have a game like that.
You need to mention which tier heavies, most lower tier heavies have very poor view range than its counterpart light tanks. But tier 10 heavies have comparable view ranges to light.
The push forwards with the PzVII worked so well because LR was supported by at least one switched on TD player and a couple of other Heavies. The arty also gave great support. Otherwise he would have been focused down quickly. This said, his use of initiative won both of the games he showed.
Good stuff that is actually mostly old SOPs that people have never had a good opportunity to learn...SG ain't what it used to be but when I signed up they made sure you understood how to echelon and how to side-scrape. As for your first point I'd like to see the word "scout" go away and be replaced by "forward observer."
The "Pushing in" was the hardest for me to learn, but usually ends up in a much better situation than trying to fall back. However, it is only really effective when you have at least one person willing to go with you....because you know....1v29 otherwise.
Would love to see your advice on how to play bottom tier heavies . Being useful as an is3, bottom tier, in 3-5-7 can be tough when your armor can't really be relied upon.
I love videos like that except for the finish where you say you are going to give us a micro tip and it cuts abruptly, but keep up the good work.. great!
Hey! A video where you were not condescending! huzzah! Sounds like you were in a good mood! Its only about a 1000 times more enjoyable to watch this way. :P
"Anfield is kinda low on hp"
... has been hit once #unicumlowhp
Nice vid, thank you
When you said you could shoot over Anfield to good effect without risking hitting him, I have to admit I was expecting an appended "unless you want to"
How To Not Suck : 3.Platoon With Anfield, GOT IT!
4. Then proceed to TK him at the end of the battle and break his mic so he cant talk back.
Oh don't worry even if there are heavys there u can push and thats the good feeling when u
get murdered and feel mad bec the tip didn't work :D
->Uses VK as an example and tells ppl to scout.
->People are going to do that in their IS-7s and 50Bs and get murdered.
Rng Adept play would've worked in an is7.
50b obviously isn't a heavy
LemmingRush For sure would have bounced that hidden 704? And that Patton on the 5th tip so reliably?
Rng Adept The play didnt rely on bouncing the shell from the TD.. I left that engagement with 2300 hp to spare. I absolutely could've taken multiple hits from that 704 and it still would have worked.
IS-7 is actually one of the best Heavy scouts because of the high top speed(and decent hp/t to get there, despite ground resistance) and relative lack of turret weakspot.
Can even use optics.
I mean, what else are you going to do? Try to snipe enemies with one of the lowest DPM/pen/accuracy of all tier X heavies?
also is-7 might have got there before the 704 was in position because the is-7 is a fast boi
As someone who often drives Heavies, I really appreciate this advice. I definitely agree that spotting can be a huge help in Heavies. US Heavies are especially good at this, because they have fantastic view range. It wasn't uncommon back in the day to see T29s printing Patrol Duty medals.
Davtwan Yea Ikr the 'assisted damage' message keeps coming during the battle 😃
Step 1: pick “balanced” Russian heavies
Step 2: go hull-down
Step 3: win
We have used the IS-7 as a scout in CW for years. Heavies really do make great scouts, not all of them, but many do.
Wish WG would upload this video on their homepage as an advice for bad players. Great work buddy
i still laugh everytime i see heavy tanks doing what TD's should do then having an unarmored TD do the role of a heavy tank and then die getting 3-4k damage and the heavies complaining about how shit the TD player was. xD
KTMPowa its even worse when its top tier heavy in god like matchup with it
Thank you, so many people that make videos seem to specialize in lights only and no heavies. You adding this helped me wrap up the trouble I was having with heavies. I wasnt aggressive enough. Cheers
Excellent tips. A few of them came to me through experience, but the idea of larger tanks in the rear is something I've never considered. Thank you.
you forgot tip #6: load the gold
Exactly my point.... If a person considers himself a Pro isn't he supposed to be fine with regular ammo?! Like Taugrim does?! Anfield, what about checking Taugrim?!
Lemming, sorry, Anfield is the same ... PRO when referring to gold ammo like you.
@@getrichordietrying246 gold automatically turns everything into a light tank. Maus can is not a Maus when gold is involved.
Hamletor i never use gold ammo i feel in my t-10 and future obj 277 and i have the is4 but 258 and 265 pen on regular ammo is more then enough
Oxide i mean i average well over 2.5k in my 277
Certainly one of the best "tip" vids I have ever seen. Can't stop watching it. Thanks LR!
At first, I thought it was another sarcastic video! ;)
all of us... but I happens I lead the charge and spot a lot some times, so I was there
and... at second?
Well done. Constructive video. No arrogance or stat bragging. To the point.
Good stuff Lemming, keep up the good work. Love how calm you are during game play.
Thanks, man. I really enjoy all your videos, and I find them very helpful. The way that you focus on particular aspects of gameplay makes the ideas easily digestable. Your explanations are always clear and you show good examples.
Thanks for tips, you explained small details that I really never pay attention to, like the tall tank in front line thing.
Awesome videos! :)
These are the videos that help me play better. Do more like these, they're super useful and informative.
Well done! I really liked that format of video and you bring up good lessons.
These actually help you out alot. Thanks Lemming, This actually improved my win rate
omg the reverb in my headphones from the first shot in the vk is one of the reasons i love this game
Dear LemmingRush! I was a 800wn8 bot at 2k matches then i found your channel and stream. Now im at 6,5k matches and 1800wn8 and its growing every day. My recent 30d is 2500+ every month, so thanks for these videos man!! :D
Love the video very informative, I am definitely going to be watching your videos for now on. Thanks man
TBH hearing the way that you were describing this, I thought it was the same as your TD video, until around the 2 minute mark where I heard the difference in your voice and you were seriously making that work.
This is by far the most useful video for me. I play a lot of heavy tanks, and always seems to depend more on luck than skills. One thing I didn't think about is tall german tanks blocking teammate's gun, excellent tip there.
Informative as always, Lemming. Thank you again.
How to not suck in your heavy tanks: spam gold
Holy crap I never was able to play corners with my friends because we didn’t understand how the pros did it or the UA-camrs did it. Now i know, why there are a bunch of scout medals on my Maus... x)
another great video, well done Lemming
Id like to see a video like this geared to the everyday battles. Not just top tier in the most OP heavy in game, in a platoon, lol. not everyone has access to the most ideal setups possible every match
Congrats for your videos. Actually you are my favorite youtuber for World of Tanks!
My win rate has improved to 37% after trying your method . Thank you for making me a better tanker and I look forward to the rest of your videos in this series, and so on and so forth....😉 ps. The only Improvement I have is that I use camo nets on my heavies when I scout.

Love the bloopers LR!
Love the tips keep them coming .... tips on types of heavies or squat tanks ... 705 and 705a or guard etc ..
This video was awesome ! Very helpful !
Learned a lot from this video, thanks!
hey thanks for all the tips.. really appreciate it!!
This was a great video and is much more simple and concise to apply to my games. Thanks for the great content
I've seen a Maus scout the mid-road on lakeville. took the shots, lit up everything. huge win
Excellent tips that were previously unknown to me. Thanks!!!?
Thanks for the tips man, I finally got my E 100 which is my first tier 10 tank. But as soon as I took it into battle, people were so toxic they were practically threatening to report me for playing badly. It’s really hard to learn on my own without getting the hate.
I agree with these tips. I usually lead the push in my heavy tanks. Don't always get the support from teams.
as avarage wot player i find this type of vids realy helpfull, i remember when i start understeanding game and discover xvm i have 7k battles and 750wn8, after learning from this type of vid i have 14k games and 1400 wn8. aswell as win ratio going from 48% to 51%. all thanks to guys like you,, love your videos,, keep up with that
Good tips all around, wish everyone would take notes here, I always end up with a buncha fools with my teams.
Great video! You should make the same type of vids for the other classes of tanks :)
Good stuff as always...I'm not sure clans teach new members how to echelon anymore but it's very important!
i love how in your blooper you just stop mid sentence and go "hehe, oh my god, heh" xD
Ty for the Advice man always Looking to Improve my HT game play
Thanks for this, this was really needed
Great video as always
I did that long time ago
Soo many mad people that I outspotted them in WZ 111 1-4 lmao
I like the idea of the heavies pushing. Lately, I have had games with the heavies sitting in the rear till end game. I am not a heavy tank player myself but I hope those that do find your tips helpful. :D

Logical approach thx for the tips!
i like playing German heavies but im a bit of a scrub so this video has a lot of excellent tips which ill be sure to try out. i would love to see videos like this on other tank types in future.
I knew that the maus was in fact a great scout tank. Thank you for confirming it.
Really good vid. My fav tip was to push a side to win the game/make pressure on the enemy :D
Lemming, this is a really nice style of video, I think. Short and sweet. Might have been better had you included a live-commentary example game which showcases a lot of your tips being utilized, but I understand that it's not always so easy to have a game like that.
Helpful hints. Thanks
been playing a little bit and will put the middle map theory into play let you know how it goes great vid thumb n suscribed
You need to mention which tier heavies, most lower tier heavies have very poor view range than its counterpart light tanks. But tier 10 heavies have comparable view ranges to light.
gj..short and precise bcs ingame i cant think very clearly, only act with instinct, by procedure
This helps alot as i mostly play tds lights and meds but im starting to like playing heavies more
extremely valuable tips. Thx!
Now... I shall use this to see if I can get my VK 72's third mark (been at it for a year now and only ever got to 93%)
its alot more helpful what your suggesting when you have a solid bud in platoon. but i agree with everything you are saying.
The push forwards with the PzVII worked so well because LR was supported by at least one switched on TD player and a couple of other Heavies. The arty also gave great support. Otherwise he would have been focused down quickly. This said, his use of initiative won both of the games he showed.
Well at least your mic worked ;) Poor Anfield. I liked your play by play and when you called him out for firing into the dirt...lol
Nice video, you are welcome to do more of these.
Plenty of good players could use this advice. It amazed me how much of it I already knew!
Thank you. Great video.
Thanks for sharing the great content. Inspired me to spend a morning playing my IS-7. Won 10/13 battles. Wish you would make a review of E50M. Cheers.

The "Pushing in" was the hardest for me to learn, but usually ends up in a much better situation than trying to fall back. However, it is only really effective when you have at least one person willing to go with you....because you know....1v29 otherwise.
I personally think that u are one of if not the best player on WOT, thank you for the tips
great tips keep them coming
Trading positions when a teammate gets low on hp is not done in pubs Nearly enough! I am happy you said something about it
See the title,
see the thumbnail,
see a Pz7 angling it's Hull,
hit weakspot.
Golden
Great one, thank you!
Would love to see your advice on how to play bottom tier heavies . Being useful as an is3, bottom tier, in 3-5-7 can be tough when your armor can't really be relied upon.
Lemmingrush playing heavy tanks, what a time to be alive
First time viewer. Good informative video and I liked the format.
Great video helping my wr alot thanks lemming
Good vid m8 :D
I love videos like that except for the finish where you say you are going to give us a micro tip and it cuts abruptly, but keep up the good work.. great!
Would love a Medium tank video like this.
Hey! A video where you were not condescending! huzzah! Sounds like you were in a good mood! Its only about a 1000 times more enjoyable to watch this way. :P
Tron - Thanks for the feedback :)
Thank u my good sir. Thanks for the tips bro! 👌👌
Always helpful to have an Anfield as a platoon mate.
Great video, LR. I wasn't sure if you were serious or sarcastic at first, just because you so rarely play heavies, but all your points are good ones.
i was for sure this was a joke vid when i heard the first tip but its acc brilliant XD
Really good, useful video - thx
“And so on and so forth” x1000
Great ideas thanks for you input. I don't playuch anyore (3-5-7 MM), I'll implement what your talking about.
This video actually helped me mark my vk 45.02 a which got no armor
