If the Grille had a 128mm option, like the Waffle and the Rhoomba do, it would be a thousand times better. Literally all they'd have to do is give it the Waffle's top 128 and make its soft stats better, and the Grille would skyrocket up the list of most enjoyable and meta tier 10s
@@prex2000 console on average is a lot more snappy and overal accurate. That’s due to the fact that we are a lot more constricted camera/sensitivity/zoomed in aim wise so the devs just said “fuck it everything gets better accuracy.” But if i remember Grille can get like 1.4 second aim time with 0.2 accuracy or something. Maybe even under 0.2. And i forgot to mention alongside the turret buff they buffed the concealment by a pretty large margin aswel. We don’t have percentages but just a raw number of “still concealment” and moving which is the rough line of the minimap where you get spotted (it’s a more dumbed down but works the exact way as it does on pc) and the grille went from 390m still concealment base to like 350m which is crazy when putting other things like +10% concealment on your commander (we only have 1 commander for tanks that can get 9 skills pretty rapidly so a lot of skills are really powerful), that alongside silent driving reducing the penalty of moving concealment by 55%, a raw 10% more accuracy, 10% better reload on commander and equipment. Really good view range due to lack of equipment on console basically forcing camo/reload/view range or vents. We also get food which is an activated ability that gives 10% crew skill passive and 15% additional crew skill for 30 seconds and brothers in arms on commander called “born leader” giving 15% passive crew skill you can get like an absurd 45% increase crew skill. Console also gets a passive camo net equipment that is just a flatline reduction on your concealment permanently. Damn thing just sits in reverse, slams a shell in from really good stealth and can gtfo no problem on console. And all the buffs were necessary considering there is a demon tank at T10 called the “SU-152 Taran” who was better than Grille in basically everything except raw accuracy and aim time but now the Grille has it’s own little place beside this demon tank. To put the stealth in perspective that Taran tank has the Obj 268 gun handling and penetration, 480’ish view range, well over 4000 DPM, 950 alpha on a 0.3 dispersion gun. Aims in in 2 seconds. With stealth on console at least that’s almost as good as the ELC Even 90. Grille is worse stealth but a lot of high tier TD’s can just build stealth like this due to absence of CVS. In summary tho Grille on console is a pretty damn terrifying thing nowadays when played properly. But console also has a lot derp tanks that are also enjoying a much more accurate gun on them so a lot of grilles still kinda explode due to them.
0:36 this exactly why i dont like it. its supposed to have laser accuracy and at less than 100m it misses. it should get the leo treatment and it would never be op since it has no armor give it the option for 2 guns a 360 turret and an actual laser gun - job done

They should make grille have two gun options: 1. 150mm same as it is now 750 alfa ,same limited traverse and bad cammo due to tall turret 2. 128mm . You get literally same turret and gun as wt auf pz iv, which is perfect gun. Only thing wt doesnt have is good mobility, but with grilles hull would be good.
Hey kajzoo what are your top 5 crew skills in the game? It would be great if you could do a tier list. In my opinion one of the best has to be ammo tuning because it gives you both extra pen and damage especially if you are shooting gold since it scales of of procentage base value of your shell

the grille is a high skill cap tank. yes it can work, but doesn't mean the tank is well balanced. it has TERRIBLE gun handling, the gun dispersion when you turn the turret or move the tank is WOSRT than Obj260 or GWE100 arty. It has literally no camo as a TD, better than FV4005 but WORST than Jagdtiger. It also has bad pen as a tier X TD, some 27x AP pen plus 334 HEAT pen, just standard heavy tank penetration when others ultra high HEAT pen like obj268/5 with 390 HEAT. and since you have no camo, no armo and terrible gun handling, it does not justify the poor penetration. I also run perfect charge on it because the HEAT velocity is awful, around 900. and the only thing you have is mobility so it really relies on map knowledge (and your team to get map control, grille on the front line is instant death) IMO 114 SP2 is just what the grille supposed to be and an example of a well balanced tank. decent mobility, no armor but not free pen by HE, actual good gun handling, amazing DPM, moderate penetration similar to grille 15, and actual camo (nearly twice the base camo of grille), same gun depression. and stuff like E3, HoRi3, WZ TD either have insane armor or insane penetration value. Grille just doesnt have anything except mobility. yes you can do good damage in it, but if your team is full of bots, there is no way a grille can carry. my record is 7k in a lost. and i barely get 50% win and currently at 75% MOE. not a bad tank, but requires effort and skills. just a hard tank to do well in consistently and it really deserve a buff. penetration/camo/full turret rotation/gun depression/armor/gun handling...just give it something to make it more manageable for weaker players. all those zero damage done grille players really ruin your team a lot at tier X, when enemy just press W with E3 or badger.
I recently beat my highest damage total with wz111-5a .. and if I can do it in that tank iknow I can in other tanks and I want to do 10k but it is a lot of luck … and skill haha
@@goop69_ yes and no, some habits can lead to being in those circumstances more often. I’ve been playing better lately and having way more 8k games but I think I have a mental block for 10k .. and I agree that a lot of luck is invoked but def some skill or Daki wouldn’t be doing it so often

People are bad cos they use it wrong. Grille isn't for sniping, its a medium with a giant gun. Anyone who wants to try grille, play it in cities, it teaches u how to actually play it
@lpanades nah, with rations, BIA, improved aiming unit and the matching directive it's pretty decently accurate when pre aimed. The new-old equipment really saved it from being complete trash back in the day, prior it was basically irredeemable no matter what you did. But it was still an absolute pain to play, until now that is, because pre-aiming sucks. The NEW equipment and skills however made it way more viable, with concentration for even more accuracy, perfect charge for that extra velocity, and the two pieces of experimental equipment for even more stabilization and some aiming speed, it now finally allows you to actually move the aim a bit without it blooming to hell

there is no recipe to increase your dmg record, dmg above 8k is almost pure luck and good circumstances
