So much I agree to do so tonight. Great band. Great songs. Great singer. And not forgotten. Never ever that would happen.
Sometimes I drive at 5 AM in the morning listening to this mix at full blast. I'm at a low point in my life so I play this music to uplift my mood. Chester Benington suffered throughout his life like I am, but I can't fall like he did. That's probably the most important lesson you can learn from their music. I will keep fighting and one day I'll be where I need to be.

Linkin Park will forever hold a special place in my heart. It's the only band that I ever got attached to that their songs never get boring to me. It breaks my heart knowing he's dead, and still makes me sad to this day. Even now, I can't go without crying while singing one more light with his vocals. He was such a helper to millions, but its crazy that millions couldn't save one. I love Chester's unique voice, never will get old. Neither will the songs.

I still remember the day of the sad news. I was getting ready to head out with my family when my older brother called and asked, "have you seen the news?" I said no and he sent me the clip and an article where it said he had passed. I was shocked. I couldn't believe it and I just smiled and laughed and said nah..then I started to cry and I kept watching and reading. All the news I found had just said he passed and I didn't want to believe it. All the colors seemed to fade a little and I still don't want to believe it.
Linkin Park was and still is what kept me close to my brother. As the only girl, I didn't know how to connect with my brothers, much less the older one, and this helped. My tastes in music I got from him. I miss him
My 2 oldest girlfriends and I used to be Linkin Park lovers since grade school, we were all in the same class. We celebrated when Meteora came out, we were starting 8th grade. Such memories. I remember back then, at 13-14, saying we will never stop liking Linkin Park. And we never did. Chester's death was a little group mourning for us, am still sad about his death. R.I.P. But their work is one-of-a-kind and will live on for many more years to come. P.S. Comment written on January 5th, 2021

On the 17th of June of 2017, exaclty 4 years ago, I had the pleasure to go to their last live performance here in Italy, specifically in Monza, which is very near to my house (in Bergamo).
I can definitively say that I aimed to FEEL and LIVE perfectly the Force of the Death coming up from Chester's voice towards our own single souls.
It was like I was growing up too fast, I pulled years of thoughts in just a few hours, my head was empty and full at the same time.
That was absolutely poetry to me. I left out all the rest... and I went one step closer to what I wanted to be.
You, my dear Chester, used to sing my own feelings EVEN before I actually felt them during my existence.
I went through so many negative events and memories, and you were always right there to accompany me in a beautiful Castle of Glass.
I will always thank you for everything. You did not escape your pain BUT put it into these masterpieces. Today I can SEE who you are...
Chester may be gone, but his voice and soul lives through us all.
I just wish I could of told him everything will be ok...... I miss him

I remember when my dad bring us the album a thousand suns and I just fell in love with this music. My two fav albums became theirs and then I discovered their other songs. I just listen to it over and over and when I life started to become hard, I started to become used to put my earphones and listen to it like a therapy, it frees all my pain when I couldn't scream. I remember when my dad announce us that the singer was gone, we were in vacations in France on a beach and it started to rain, I was about to cry, I felt, and I still feel like I lost a friend I never met. Now that I feel better, I still listen to them, it makes me happy and nostalgic.
