Wow finally someone who showed the process from beginning to end. I have watched 10+ videos of others and no one ever showed the design process, weeding process, cutting process all together so I was lost until you :) Superb job, Thanks!
I have a sc2 cutter. I didn’t have a clue how to use it. Looking at Mat from Rhinestone World was the most informative video I have seen. I have a long way to go, but that was a great start!

I've not done a design like this yet where I haven't needed the whole width like the ball player. Matt said he should have just cut the ballplayer out and saved material. How would he have done that?
Where can I find the heat transfer paper with the image I want on it already? Do I need to buy the printer myself or is there a store that will do it for you?
Hey Griffin, To have HTV that has been printed on (as opposed to cut as seen in the video), you would need to either purchase a Print and Cut machine or have someone print the design on a printable vinyl and cut it out for you. If you're looking for something like you see in here, where the vinyl is cut, you can either have someone send you a "vinyl transfer" or you can purchase a vinyl cutter and cut it yourself. Both options are available to you. TRW Nick
I see people use small shirts for designs can I use a men's double Xl for example for this specific heat press or something bigger ? /And can I heat press hoodies with this ?
Alexus, As long as your design fits on the plate of the heat press, you are good to press that design. As for the hoodie, that is fine to press, however you may need to adjust your pressure seeing that it is a thicker material. TRW Kaitlin
That's awesome.. I"m currently trying to get into designing t-shirts... I'm in a social club and we already have a logo, my question is how can I make designs of one I already have to print on t-shirt

Amazing! Do you have to be treating one after another, even if you wanted to produce say, 50 pieces of such similar T-shirts, with a particular design?
Im trying to start my own business in making t shirts for my church and other people in ga can you please tell me what kind of cutter you have and heat press you have and what's the difference between getting a vinyl cutter and regular print
Michelle, In this video, we are utilizing the Red Digital Clam Press and The GCC Expert 2. You can find both of those at the links below! The difference between a vinyl cutter and a printer is more or less the application and the materials that you use. With a vinyl cutter, you are cutting multiple different colors of vinyl and pressing all of them on. They do have vinyl that you can use a printer on and then heat press on to a garment, but we don't work with that at all. Typically printing will allow you to have more fine details and more color. www.therhinestoneworld.com/Red-Digital-Clam-Heat-Press www.therhinestoneworld.com/GCC-Expert-II TRW Alexis
Hi, I am interested in tshirt printing. I have zero knowledge about this stuff, by the way. For the vinyl printing, would you recommend corel draw or other editing software? I want to learn the most effective and efficient editing software I could use. Thanks.
Hey! We use CorelDRAW, so that would definitely be our recommendation as well as using the TRW Design Wizard 3.0+ that will help with making your design and mock-ups. You can find them both at the following link! therhinestoneworld.com/CorelDRAW-X8-OEM-Wizard-3-0-Plus TRW Nick
Hello, You can order the materials from our website: www.therhinestoneworld.com/ . The manual's for the cutter's can be found on their website. TRW, Grant
what if you wanted 4 colors that would overlap in the design. How hard is that to match up? For example I have a design that uses a flag inlay. Is it possible to do that using your product or would you have to create 4 different templates that only focused on one color at a time?
Hi Kelly, each color would be a different template. It is a little difficult to match up multi-color designs because of tendency of materials to shrink, but it is definitely possible. Alexis @ TRW
Kelly, When creating templates using the Wizard, each color will be separated and placed in a weed box. In the video we see that each color of vinyl corresponds to a different layer in the design. The more colors in the design the more templates will be created. The Wizard can add registration marks to aid in alignment of multiple colors. TRW Casey
Tiffany, We see most of our customers with laptops. Laptops are great if you travel and design otherwise a tower (regular Computer) would be adequate. TRW Casey
+Trish Stanton You can find the upgraded Expert series cutter at the following link. :) therhinestoneworld.com/store/#!/GCC-Expert-II/p/50090948/category=8223525 TRW Nick
Matt - you only did 6-8 seconds for the final press. Does that type of shirt only take 8-10 seconds? Love the video. I've learned a lot from watching your videos at TRW.
Hi I'm really interested in making shirt but I have no clue what all I need.Do I need a computer if so can I use a laptop?what software is good and affordable?
Hello, We would love to talk with you about all that you need. There are four things that you are going to need what starting out. These include a software, a cutter, a press, and materials. We have starter packs on our website or we sell all of these items individually. You can call us at (941)755-1696 and one of our representatives will be able to talk with you about witch items will be best for you specifically. We look forward to hearing from you :) TRW Kaitlin
Hello! I am not sure what you are asking, but you can use a heat press to make some great shirts! Let us know if you have any other questions! - TRW Richard
Sir which paper had been used for printing I mean to say that what paper should I use to print a t shirt for my own busines I need this black paper what is the name of that paper Thanks !
Hello, The Cricut will cut the materials however it is a cutter made for craters so the software is more basic and the cutter is smaller then the other business cutters. We however do not carry any Cricut machines, so if you are looking for a smaller crafting cutter, we sell the Silhouette Cameo 3 that is very comparable. TRW Kaitlin
Grace, We use Siser Heat Transfer Vinyl for apparel, FDC Sign Vinyl for decals, and Chemica Fashion Vinyl for textured vinyl project. All of the products listed above can be found on our website at the following address. therhinestoneworld.com/store/#!/Vinyl/c/8403147/offset=0&sort=normal TRW Casey
I'm very interested in making tshirts and this video was by far the best out of all the ones I watched. Very detailed and informative. Now for the scary part the machines, equipment and supplies. I want to start small, I've looked on amazon, Alibaba, ebay nd they got some with decent prices. However I just dont know if they are good quality. Can you give me more info on that? Thanks in advance
Hey Lory! If you're still looking, shoot us an email at info@therhinestoneworld.com with your needs and budget and we will be happy to point you in the right direction. 🥰 - TRW Haley
If it's heat transfer vinyl, you will cut with the shiny side down, dull side up. If it's decal vinyl, you want to cut with the paper side down, color side up. :) TRW Alexis
If you go to their UA-cam channel you will see hundreds of videos. TRW makes videos several times each week. Great channel with great instructional videos.
I'd like to see how you do men's socks, both ankle length and calf length. Like what is the good part of the sock to use and how to get around those ribs they put in the socks elastic. Also, so we have to use Coral Draw to do all this stuff. I just bought the vinyl cutter outfit but have never done this before so that's why I'm asking. I have a ton of graphics on my PC and wanted to use those for this cutting and using on T-Shirts, is that doable?? Well keep up the good video's, there a good teaching tool for the newbie's. =0 }
+sthwestb Just like you had mentioned the ribs will make it difficult to get a good press and therefore we don't recommend pressing on anything Ribbed or Textured. In regard to your preexisting graphics you may need to convert the graphic to a vector if it is bitmap. TRW Casey
ALL my graphics are .jpg, does that make a difference? I didn't think I was going to get an answer because I've asked questions before but I went ahead and pressed some socks and they turned out real well... I just stuck a piece of cardboard in the socks to widen them and it worked. =0 )
+TheRhinestoneWorld My program details were : Washing time : 3 mins Rinse times : 1 Spin : mid Water level : 1 Total time of this cycle was 38 mins on cold water . The result was that Printed image had been faded !
Are you printing on vinyl or are you creating the entire image with vinyl? The vinyl should not be fading, as far as printing on a vinyl, that would be a little different setting. TRW Nick
It depends on your budget, how far you're trying to get with it, and what kind of equipment you want! For more information, you could call us at 941-755-1696 or email us at info@therhinestoneworld.com :) TRW Alexis

I've not done a design like this yet where I haven't needed the whole width like the ball player. Matt said he should have just cut the ballplayer out and saved material. How would he have done that?

I think that what he meant was he should have just cut the vinyl with scissors, instead of a whole square template, to save vinyl. Jenny@TRW
Where can I find the heat transfer paper with the image I want on it already? Do I need to buy the printer myself or is there a store that will do it for you?

What heat press are you using? Thanks for the great video!
I'm making a decorative canvas for a friend's wedding, would you recommend doing regular stick-on vinyl, or would iron-on work better?
I don't know that decal vinyl would stick on there well enough. I think your best bet would be to iron on some vinyl.

what if you wanted 4 colors that would overlap in the design.
Kelly,
When creating templates using the Wizard, each color will be separated and placed in a weed box.
In the video we see that each color of vinyl corresponds to a different layer in the design.
The more colors in the design the more templates will be created.
The Wizard can add registration marks to aid in alignment of multiple colors.

very new to all of this...can you use a laptop or does it have to be a regular computer?
Tiffany,
We see most of our customers with laptops.
Laptops are great if you travel and design otherwise a tower (regular Computer) would be adequate.

what kind of machine do I need to make color pictures? That can't be done with a vinyl cutter can it?
Hello! It sounds like you are taking about screen printing, yes? You are not able to make pictures with just a vinyl cutter. - TRW Richard
Awesome video man. Appreciate you sharing this. You rock. Just purchased a GCC AR-24 Vinyl Cutter!!
Thank you Team Rubalcava Network. Matt
Matt - you only did 6-8 seconds for the final press. Does that type of shirt only take 8-10 seconds? Love the video. I've learned a lot from watching your videos at TRW.

What are your thoughts on a Cricit Explore Air 2 cutter
Hello,
The Cricut will cut the materials however it is a cutter made for craters so the software is more basic and the cutter is smaller then the other business cutters. We however do not carry any Cricut machines, so if you are looking for a smaller crafting cutter, we sell the Silhouette Cameo 3 that is very comparable.
TRW Kaitlin
What paper are you using to cover the wording when you added the player to protect the black lettering already in place?
Hello,
He is using parchment paper. Let us know if you have any other questions.
TRW, Grant
What materials are best for printing?
Grace,
We use Siser Heat Transfer Vinyl for apparel, FDC Sign Vinyl for decals, and Chemica Fashion Vinyl for textured vinyl project.

- TRW Haley
do you print on the shiny side up or dual side up?
If it's heat transfer vinyl, you will cut with the shiny side down, dull side up. If it's decal vinyl, you want to cut with the paper side down, color side up. :)
TRW Alexis
what paper is using for print. nice video
Al,
That would be the Siser Easyweed!
TRW Alexis
would you recommend for a new in printing business
Yuan,
We don't work with printing at all, just working with vinyl.
TRW Alexis
This video is 5 years old, congrats
If you go to their UA-cam channel you will see hundreds of videos. TRW makes videos several times each week. Great channel with great instructional videos.
I'm new to this what is the best htv for t shirt
I'd like to see how you do men's socks, both ankle length and calf length. Like what is the good part of the sock to use and how to get around those ribs they put in the socks
elastic. Also, so we have to use Coral Draw to do all this stuff. I just bought the vinyl
cutter outfit but have never done this before so that's why I'm asking. I have a ton of
graphics on my PC and wanted to use those for this cutting and using on T-Shirts, is
that doable?? Well keep up the good video's, there a good teaching tool for the newbie's.
=0 }
+sthwestb
Just like you had mentioned the ribs will make it difficult to get a good press and therefore we don't recommend pressing on anything Ribbed or Textured.
JPG should not make a difference in your pressing, it would just affect your ability to cut with a vinyl cutter. Hope @ TRW
What brand heat press do you use?
Hello! The heat pres sin the video is a Siser heat press. They can be found here: therhinestoneworld.com/Red-Digital-Clam-Heat-Press - TRW Richard.
What is the suitable total duration for washing cycles when i wash t-shirt transfer paper?
I would have it on cold water and turn it inside out. Not the best to use a tumble dryer, but if you do, put it on low.
TRW Nick
+TheRhinestoneWorld
My program details were :
Washing time : 3 mins
Rinse times : 1
Spin : mid
Water level : 1
Total time of this cycle was 38 mins on cold water .
The result was that Printed image had been faded !
Are you printing on vinyl or are you creating the entire image with vinyl? The vinyl should not be fading, as far as printing on a vinyl, that would be a little different setting.
