Great review. I like the fact you drop the draw length down and give us shorter draw length guys and gals a better understanding of the bows capabilities for us as well. Thank you!!
Thanks Patrick. Hope it was helpful
Great review. Liked to see the bow with different draws. Couldn´t find anybody else doing that. Thanks for your great work. Outstanding!
100% agree
Best reviews out there! Love the channel. Thanks for testing lower draw lengths as well.
Thanks Taylor!
Been waiting to see a good review on this bow! Thank you!
Great review, thanks for the speed test!
The carbon in a bow grip gets just as cold as an aluminum grip or riser. When you are in a blind or a tree stand, after a short time, a carbon bow will be just as cold as an aluminum bow, their sensible heat will be the same. It is just that the carbon bow is not as conductive as the aluminum bow. As the aluminum bow is a better conductor, it will transfer energy quicker from one source to another. Heat runs 'downhill' and what you are feeling(in the aluminum bow) is the more rapid heat transfer from your hand to the grip of the riser.
That is my little daily lesson on thermodynamics.
Have to say B.S on that your review on the carbon grip being just as cold.
@@peterbuilttough3406 if you set a carbon grip down in a blind for an hour and don't touch it and you set an aluminum riser bow down in the blind for an hour and don't touch it where both are exposed to the same ambient temp for the same amount of time, both will have the same sensible temperature. The aluminum is just a better conductor and transfers the cold more rapidly.
I wish I could bet you, I'd like a chance for some easy money.
@@johnbasiglone1219 I have both aluminium bows and carbon. I've hunted out of a blind with both. Aluminium is always colder or hotter if in the sun. So yeah calling B.S. on your theory because its conductive or whatever scientific nonsense you're spreading
@@peterbuilttough3406 It's not scientific nonsense, it's science. Call it B.S., call it what you want. But it is a fact. After a period of time, if both bows are in the same environment for a long enough period of time, they will reach the ambient temperature of the surrounding air mass.
If you hit them with an IR imaging thermometer, they will be the same temp. But if you were to grab the aluminum riser it will be colder because it is a better conductor and transfers the heat out of your hand faster.
I could go outside right now and take a temp off of the concrete and the iron manhole cover that is sitting on my patio and the temp of my firewood stack sitting right adjacent to them. In fact, I just did. The wood, the steel manhole cover and the fire wood all are right about 31 degrees Fahrenheit. Now to feel each item, the iron manhole cover feels significantly colder than the concrete and the concrete feels colder than the wood and relative to the concrete and the iron, the wood does not feel cold at all. But all three are the same, actual measured temp. The difference is because the iron is a better conductor and the wood is a better insulator. Like I said, it's science. It is easiest if you have an IR thermal imaging thermometer. Personally, as part of my job is doing heat-load measurements, I own about five IR imaging thermometers, a Fluke, a Fieldpiece, a couple Kleins and a Milwaukee. But at times I use a digital multimeter and a thermocouple and sometimes I use a multimeters and and IR with a standard digital thermometer. Go check it out for yourself. But if you try to take an IR temp off of a mirror like surface it is not as reliable, you have to have the correct emissivity factor programmed into your instrument.

Hi there...great review as always! Just wondering if you’ll get a chance to review the Evo NXT 35 with the SE cams?
Well, I just found my new bow. Thanks!
I have this exact bow in 80lb limbs…. 29 inch draw it is my favorite bow to date and I buy 2 new bows a year.
I just wish PSE would put the LAS system on their flagship hunting bows. I see companies like Bowtech and Elite bringing forth "new" tech for simplicity of tuning when PSE has had it for a while now. Shimming isn't difficult but you need a press and it takes time. The new Mach1 is a definite refinement of previous Carbon Air though. I think it will do well for them. The Evolve cam system is the best for power distribution through different draw lengths out there. Its a winner for sure.
Inside Out Precision
Unreal Kinetic Energy with this Bow!
I got to hold one of these at an indoor competition and they are so light
Great review. Thank you.
Great review!
Patiently waiting for a PSE Levitate review!
Great review well done, nice bow 👍🏹🏹
Just got mine and love it!
I really like mine. Thanks for the video.
Have you shot the 80 lbs model? I shot the 70 today and it was amazing. The draw was so smooth and easy, I feel I might be able to build up to it without problem.
Great video 👍...which stabilizer is that?
Thanks for the great review
I currently have the Mach 1. I was wondering if it’s ok to drill a small hole to connect my rest to the cable carrier thing. Like on the NTN
How do you feel this bow compares to the vxr? This bow seriously has my attention. I’m not so much concerned with the weight or even carbon vs aluminum, but how does the grip compare to the engage or even the Chris Bee grip? Draw cycle? Hold on target?
Are you able to switch out a cable slide with a cable roller?
Being the bow is super light do you think that the bow will need a lot of stab weight or it shot and held well with nothing? Highly considering this for hunting!
I would love to see a video on the Mathews Tactic
I just traded my rx4 Alpha bare bow straight up for one of these..thinking it was a good decision!
PSE has had some of the most underrated bows on the market the past few years. They even undersold and over performed on speed last year. A 70# Evolve was just as fast as my 75# Vertix despite the advertised IBO speeds.
PSE drive 3b is the same weight... which makes me doubt whether carbon is super awesome in bows regarding to weight at least.
Do you guys sell semi newer used bows? Or used bows period...if not can you point me in a direction of a online store or preferably a shop that does
Excellent video, thank you for taking the time to put it together! I see an LCA press in the background. With the more-parallel limbs on the Mach 1, do you still need adapters on the LCA press to tune these? Thanks in advance!
Yeah I still use the adapter
Careful with the Hoyt adapters. There was a kid who lost an eye pressing a PSE with them.
Can anyone tell me what the MSRP is on this bow?
Thank god they fixed the grip. The old model could’ve had 100% let off an IBO of 550 and could’ve been completely silent and I still wouldn’t have bought it. That old grip was fucking horrible felt like holding a brick
You mentioned that they redesigned the '20 Mach 1's riser to minimize hand-shock. While this is true for their aluminum riser bows, I have both a '18 & '19 Carbon Stealth EC - neither have hand-shock... The '20 CS EC is unchanged from '19. The only difference between the '18 & '19 is axle diameter.
I have to respectfully disagree. There is a huge difference in the design of the riser. Maybe you haven't shot other bows, but the 18 and 19 models had a lot of hand shock, comparatively speaking. If you shoot them one after another, you'll feel the difference.
Does the bow have a rear stabilizer mounting point on the back of the riser for 2020?
Not in the Carbon unfortunately
3 dislikes on the video... Bowtech, Matthews, and Elite? 👀
TheIngoBeck nope it’s Hoyt, Hoyt, and Hoyt. Lol
@@nathanmohler4254 makes sense.
No I shoot mathews currently and I’v owned PSE I like several different brands I’v never shot a Hoyt before but I’m wanting to try one.
Are these true carbon bows, or do they have more of an injection molded type look and feeling? Do these bows twist when drawn? BTW, I just watched your RX4 video and the Carbon Air is definitely faster.
PSE are injected mold
can you do a review on some of the hoyts like nitrux or helix
We actually don't have any nitrux or Helix in stock at the moment. Making room for the 2020 models in a couple weeks!
Can you do a review on the EC version. I have a 31.5 inch draw. So the Mach 1 is out for me.
Also can you explain the difference in mods.
Like the fast mod. What does it do to the draw cycle. What does it do to speed. And also hand shock.
I cannot find any information on the fast mod.
Loving your channel. Will be down to the bow rack to buy my new bow once all the new bows have been released.
Now looking at PSE’s website the EC also tops out at 30.5 inch draw.
I have been shooting a pse bowmadness at 30.5” for five years. But really my draw length is 31.5”. I am used to shooting at that shorter draw. But feel my groups would improve if I had the correct draw length. Any advise on this.
Had decided to get the Helix ultra but the bow rack was out of stock. So I am back to waiting for all the brands to release their bows.
But the review on the EC would be much appreciated.
I see the EC 35 has a 32” draw. But it seems much slower.
How does it feel outside in a crosswind? Seems like the solid and light riser might get blown around a little more in a crosswind.
Yeah really light bows definitely don't sit on target as well with out some significant stabilizer weight. That being said, this bow seems very stable at full draw
I want this bow
Great review. What sight is that?
Just an old trophy ridge 5 pin. Nothing special
Hello, I am a beginner to compound bows. I have shot a few but nothing crazy. I have been looking at pse and hoyt carbon lines as I would rather spend the money and get a great product and I am left handed as well. What would you recommend? Rx4 psecarbon mach 1 or any other preference?
They're both great. I prefer the Mach 1 to be honest.
@@InsideOutPrecision even over the rx4? What are your reasons?
@@miamifan4L The cam system is much more efficient with heavier arrows, you can adjust your let off without different modules, and I thought it was more quiet with less hand shock. I also like the ATA better than the RX4, but that's totally personal preference.
When he says the weight of the arrow, does grain mean gram?? And is that the total weight, including the field point?? Thanks!!
No, a grain is a measurement of weight.
And yes, that's total arrow weight
So about same speed as Hoyt Rx-4 turbo but 20 FPS less Ibo rated.
Impressive
I had the carbon spyder turbo. Was not friendly to shoot. 0 valley. Absolutely could not relax or it would rip out of my hands.
I had one too. Switched to prime. Not speed bows but lot nicer to shoot.
Can you do a comparison between a Helix Ultra #2 and a Carbon Stealth 35. Appreciate it.
I would but I don't have any more Helix Ultras and Hoyt isn't making them anymore!
@@InsideOutPrecision well that isn't good news. Where did you hear they are discontinued?
@@twiztd001 Hoyt!
@@InsideOutPrecision well that changes my choices
is it a rotating mod for draw length adjustment or is it one set length?
Almost all the modern PSE bow uses the EVO cams which are rotating modules with adjustable draw length without a bow press, and this isn't an exception.
Rotating module
@@Buran01 thanks for the responses, I'm not too familiar with PSE's lineup but this has drawn my attention
When is Hoyt going to release their 2020 bows?
Seems that at October 21.
Usually the last week of October
Nov 7th
Uhh... Maybe I missed it, but how much is the bow retailing for?
$1599. I usually leave the price out of the video because all shops will be different
@@InsideOutPrecision Smart. Great video BTW. It's between this and the RX3. If you don't mind me asking, which would be your choice? Don't worry if you can't answer that. Thanks.
@@minjin0259 honestly I think I like this bow a little better than the RX3. The only down side is that it's so light I have to load up my stabilizer to get it to aim well, but it holds great. The RX3 is a great bow though. Really going to come down to what you feel more comfortable with
@@InsideOutPrecision Thanks for the input. I'm just going to have to shoot both of them side by side. Luckily my local shop carries both. Be safe my friend.
Sucks I need 31 draw length
Hey man! I was curious how this bow really holds on target?? Do you feel like the lack of mass makes it hold in the middle less?
You can add weight to stabilizer and side bar, it will be more stable at same overall weight.
hoyt rx4 or this bow. you can only chose one. which one do you take ???
Rx4...so much easier to tune.
@@InsideOutPrecision thanks man any opinions on Bowtech??
Kellen is the 2020 Stealth 35 EC a hold over from 2019 or are they a redesign like the Mach I?
Same as 2019 as far as I know!
Does anyone know when Mathews is going to release their 2020 hunting bows
Also love the videos man keep it up
Usually the last week of October. I know what they're doing, but I can't say anything yet haha. It's nice though
@@InsideOutPrecision Its Nov now and its killing me to know!!
Currently shooting a PSE Stinger X and looking for my upgrade after the holidays.
Can you guys sell and ship a carbon levitate?
We can't ship new bows because of dealer protection rules
@@InsideOutPrecision do you have any release date. Thanks
Price?
Not cheep.. I have last year pse Carbon. I think I payed 1300. Just for the bow..
Has anyone seen a black mach 1 yet?
...I see (and shoot) one every day.
Just looks way sexier than a hoyt
Are you gonna review the PSE Expedite? Pleeeaaaseee 🤩🤗
Don't have one to review. We carried it last year but it didn't sell very well. Its fast, but pretty unforgiving because of its short brace height
Please keep in mind that carbon doesn't go well with cold temperatures.
Feels a lot warmer than aluminim! I know guys who have hunted with them in 0-10° temps and had no issues, what do you think doesn't go well with cold temps?
Your a troll! Carbon IS FOR COLD WEATHER
@@chiefryan2260 as far as i can remember carbon has a tendency to splinter during exposure to cold weather. At least, that’s how it used to be. If it’s different now, consider me educated.
But to start crying about trolling is a bit over the top, especially 9 months later boi.
@@Aatje21 arrows are almost all carbon and they can be shot in the cold so I don’t see a bow riser snapping from cold
Is this the best bow in the world? Asking for a friend 🤪
Shoots nice but is a pain in the ass to tune.
@@InsideOutPrecision Hey, great review. Thanks! I just got this bow. Still getting to know it. What makes it so hard to tune?
@@srmjr4200 most of them shoot like 2" right tear through paper out if the box and it won't change by moving the rest. That means you have to shim the cams which requires you to press the bow, remove the string and unhook the cables, relax the limbs and take the bow out of the press, take off the cam and move the shims. Then reassemble it. Not hard just very time consuming.
@@InsideOutPrecision Thanks for the response. I'm racing to get mine set up for the season, so just beginning the process. That, and the fact that I'm still into my first year of bow hunting and changing from index to thumb release, has made the process a bit overwhelming. What effect has rotating the cable guide had on the tuning if any?
I cannot find this bow within 100 miles of Pittsburgh...... Just called every pse dealer on the list
I'm surprised Lancaster doesn't have them.
@@InsideOutPrecision they probably do.. but thats 4 hours in each direction....
That’s a bad@@@ looking bow
I’m confused, your right handed? That’s a right handed bow.
No I'm left-handed
@@InsideOutPrecision Yeah that confused me too, you said you were right-handed in the video. lol
HUGE hump in the draw when I tested the PSE out. VXR or Rx4 will be the bow I choose.
I also experienced that "hump," but at 80% let off it was nearly gone.
Pse push archers to other companys this year for sure, so shity models....im waiting for hoyt and mathews , where is tu fun Factor from PSE like xpedite or FT???
Did you watch the review? This is calculating to 340+, throw the FL mods on there and you will be at high 340s.
If i want 350 i would go with xpedite with comfort mode, FL suck. Im talking about good aluminium bow more than 33ATA like evo 35 only faster. Im waiting for New Models and if all are fuckt like PSE than buy helix ultra black.
Piece of shit equipment ,Matthews new VXR 2020 is by far way smoother and enjoyable to shoot
