@@EricTremblayAdventures I'm new to backpacking. I did Glacier Lake and because of the forest fires I travelled to Vancouver Island and managed to sneak in another overnight. I was surprised at how quickly everything booked up. I'm already researching next years trips. I was at Wilcox campground the night they evacuated Jasper. I will be back. Its a stunning part of the world. Thanks for all your reviews. they are very helpful. Cheers
@@campingboy9213 you’re welcome! If you need more ideas for last minute, you can goto David Thompson Country which doesn’t require reservations, just a yearly pass. Lots of backpacking to be done there.
@@andrewfreed4037 this one in the rain is definitely my least favorite! I don’t think the fires turned up the valleys in Jasper they kind of stayed alongside the Athabasca River. Will find out next year, Parks refused me entry to film just to look at campgrounds. 💁
@EricTremblayAdventures in the rain very understandable 😅. Thats good to hear, it was a saddening turn of events and hopefully we can enjoy them next year.
I'm sure there's tons of fish in those lakes, I've found fish in the mountains in more remote places with a lot less water. I personally stopped fishing in the Rockies, as you cannot keep the fish (99.9% of the time) and in the backcountry its a huge risk with predators.
I was booked to do this trail this summer .. then the fire. Still on my list to do. Looks great. Thanks
@@campingboy9213 it’s a great hike with awesome views, but you can keep this one as plan B, it’s not popular due to its difficulty level.

These are awesome videos, i live 2 hours away and i use your videos to plan my hikes. Thanks for doing that. Do you post on Alltrails or Gaia as well?
@@s.b.1713 thank you, the list is starting to grow! I post most of my hikes on AllTrails & I think most of them are public
Thanks for this one Eric! Our favorite in Jasper! Do you know if the trail was damaged with the wildfires in Jasper this year?

Did you see fish in any of the lakes ?
