I love Vincent D'Onofrio! Such a great actor. He should've won an oscar for full metal jacket! I don't care how little screentime he had. He was perfect as King Pin too. What great casting.
D'Onofrio has that innate ability to generate interest in a performance without saying a word....he has "it". Something interesting is going on between his ears and I'd like to know.
Watched The Kid this weekend. It is very good. I’m sad that this movie isn’t getting recognized. The story was great, acting was awesome! Pratt was a great bad guy, the guy who played Billy the kid was fantastic, Ethan Hawke was his usual charming self. Rio( the kid in the movie) and Vincent’s daughter, who played the sister, did very well. Its nice to see a original movie in a time of just remakes
Some of my personal favorite Vincent D'onofrio characters are as follows, Robert Gorren in Law and Order: CI, Private Pyle in Full Metal Jacket, Wilson Fisk in Daredevil and Jack Horne in The Magnificent Seven.
The story that happens at 8:03 has got to be one of the funniest anecdotes I've ever heard....knowing the peccadillos of the director and having watched Spartacus with Kirk Douglas.
Vincent gives credit to his Step Dad is awesome . I give much credit to my Dad , incredible grand dad and all my Teachers from elementary school , Fullerton college , 2 university's and Law School
This guy is a real tough dude and a great actor . In a way , he had the worst part in Full Metal Jacket . In a behind the scenes documentary , he was the only actor that didn't complain about getting harsh criticism from Stanley Kubrick . And never forget all the crap he had to do , like getting pounded with bars of soap in socks . It was a tough role .
If this is a boy palace I wonder how’d he react to going to the man cave in Milford, CT. Kudos to rich though I think that comment to open the interview would’ve put most hosts on the defensive.
@Samuel Brown he does take chances which is great for an actor. There was a recruit in my platoon in boot camp( I went to Marine Corps recruit training at MCRD San Diego) who was overweight but instead of a jelly donut he took cookies and ice cream out of the chow hall. Vincent D'onofrio did a great job playing the overweight recruit.
@Samuel Brown I remember some years ago a guy I was talking to was upset that this very tall young man was athletically awkward and couldn't play basketball. But he was good at other things. That guy that it was a waste that this tall young man was athletically awkward.
I just wish he wasn't using the new language of the word "like". It says he's hanging around with young people. It's a generational thing. Et tu Vincent?
Yes. I love Vincent great actor. I'm watching Law & Order Criminal Intent all day. Just finished watching Stray with the Bonnie & Clyde episode. You looked so handsome in your police uniform. X

just getting nominated for an Oscar means you have Won
Great underrated actor
Yessss
He was phenomenal in Chained
Why you say that crab? Underrated how?
@@gabrielfigueroa5654 crab?
Is he underrated? I thought people knew pretty well he was the bees knees and so so talented
Wilson Fisk seems like a very down to earth person.
Such a shame they cancelled it really a damn fine show
@romeo romero even if born again is bad im super happy for Vincent he gets paid for hawkeye echo and daredevil born again 👏
Great interview. It's to D'onofrio's credit that he stayed humble and always thankful and respectful of those that helped him in his early days.
We have always admired him. A very believable actor. Mr. D’Onofrio thank you for entertaining us. Please, come back to t.v.
One of my favorite actors😊
One of the greatest.
Is the greatest..... !!!
One of my Favorites!
He was so handsome and charming when younger.
Outstanding actor
He is quite a good villain on Daredevil as well.
Love Vincent. Just saw a movie he did when he was really young with Renée Zellweger and boy can he kiss
FACTS
Love him❤️❤️❤️❤️
Loved him in so many of his movies, especially The Salton Sea.
D'Onofrio has that innate ability to generate interest in a performance without saying a word....he has "it". Something interesting is going on between his ears and I'd like to know.
That is why im interested to see "The Kid" because I think Vincent could be a great film maker. I hope im right.
I really want to know what his other miraculous moment where everything came together was
Watched The Kid this weekend. It is very good. I’m sad that this movie isn’t getting recognized. The story was great, acting was awesome! How could you not mention him as, 'THOR',. in 'Adventures in Babysitting'!!!!!?
I think of him more through CI than FMJ
I'm so bummed The Searchers appears to be NA at Amazon Streaming! Another great interview with a potent, interesting actor.
He is one of the best actors ever!!! No matter the role he gives his all and nails it every time! Good guy bad guy funny guy tough guy! ❤❤❤❤❤
The story that happens at 8:03 has got to be one of the funniest anecdotes I've ever heard....knowing the peccadillos of the director and having watched Spartacus with Kirk Douglas.
At first I thought it was Leonardo DiCaprio!😂🤣🤣
He was AMAZING in The Cell....What a great movie
Vincent D'Onofrio as Nero Wolfe and Chris Evans as Archie Goodwin.
…and how about Vincent in Happy Accidents?? His versatility is nothing short of amazing!
best rich eisen interview with an actor, for me.
Vincent gives credit to his Step Dad is awesome . I give much credit to my Dad , incredible grand dad and all my Teachers from elementary school , Fullerton college , 2 university's and Law School
It's amazing how he can change his voice for Kingpin. But then you listen to him talk normal and he's completely different.
I hate they canceled Daredevil. This man played the best Wilson Fisk ever
Old Yeller, and Brian Song. I'm with you on that one Vincent.
The original THOR . Adventures in babysitting
I still wanna Date robert goren 😍
Love Vincent d onofrio 👍🏼👍🏼
Me too!
Me too. He is my favorite character.
..awesome actor,, the cell ! and law and order
It's so weird hearing him not talking the way Kingpin talks.
Private Pyle whatever you do don't fall down! That would break my fucking heart :) good memories, great actor
setting up for the Orson Welles bio??
Love Vincent 💖💖💖💖💖🌹😊‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Good evening Mr. D’Onofrio. Hope all is well")(".
At first I didn't even recognize him in The Magnificent Seven. Great actor.
Cant forget Joe Namath the actor from C.C. and Company.
I fucking adore this man 💯
This is an underrated film he made that you seldom hear of Call the whole wide world
My favorite sports film is The Greatest Game Ever Played. Seabiscuit is amazing, too.
Great interview (esp the Kubrick bits), but I wish Rich had asked him about Men in Black
Is "The Karate Kid" a Sports Movie? It had Rocky like theme of the Underdog fighting for his rights, Problems of growing up, etc.
I love a good western
No...I actually never cried until this movie. 😂😂
One of the best to ever do it....Robert Goren!
Unforgiven and Tombstone
Is that vincent or the serial killer Richard Kolinski. He would been perfect cast in the iceman movie.
I'm still trying to figure out the osmosis thing. 🤔
You should have mentioned him being THOR in Adventures in babysitting
My Friend Pavel is an actor
He seems like such a good normal dude.
Geniuses like Kubrick have strong ESP.
If this is a boy palace I wonder how’d he react to going to the man cave in Milford, CT. Kudos to rich though I think that comment to open the interview would’ve put most hosts on the defensive.
I’m sorry that Pavel didn’t came to my house but I least I can watch him in law and order
Vincent D'Onofrio is my twin.
I dont know why, but Mr. D'Onorfio being slightly irritated and saying, "Really?" makes me really laugh hahaha
Wilson Fisk isn't a sports fan but on a sports show? Odd
Underatted actor
Folks assume because of his size that he's naturally athletic. Vincent D'onofrio is more of an artsy type obviously.
@Samuel Brown he does take chances which is great for an actor. There was a recruit in my platoon in boot camp( I went to Marine Corps recruit training at MCRD San Diego) who was overweight but instead of a jelly donut he took cookies and ice cream out of the chow hall. The Outlaw of Josey Wales
That was "Puro"
His voice is a lot lighter than I thought it would be when he is not Kingpin. 🤣🤣🤣
Porque no está traducido en castellano ?? Somos una colonia inglesa?? Es una falta de respeto para el UA-camr. Thanks a lot.
Thor in Adventures in Babysitting
ANd he doesn't talk to Vincent about playing Kingpin.
The Short Timers.
He needs to talk about losing some lbs. (I remember Thor from Adventures in Babysitting.)
Dammit he didn’t say what the second most perfect circumstance of acting was :/
Holy Jesus! Who is that?! WHO THE (beep) IS THAT??!!
Oi Olie I can see you.
Slap Shot
So Rocky is a chick-flick? Lol
Rocky and Adrian is one of the best love stories ever!
Sort of. It had a great love story between Rocky and Adrian. I happen to love the Rocky movie series. Especially Rocky II & V.
I just wish he wasn't using the new language of the word "like".
It says he's hanging around with young people.
It's a generational thing.
Et tu Vincent?
CHAINED ON TUBI.
IT SO INTRIGUED ME.
WATCHED IT A FEW TIMES.
He was bodyguard to ROBERT PLANT AND YUL BRENNER
back in the day.
Yes. I love Vincent great actor. I'm watching Law & Order Criminal Intent all day. Just finished watching Stray with the Bonnie & Clyde episode. You looked so handsome in your police uniform. X
i JUST LOVE THE GUY.
F*cking love you Vincent; especially in Brooklyn’s Finest and Full Metal Jacket.
SVU Criminal Intent was my fav because of Vincent
Yes Vincent is a great actor, yada, yada, yada, but he also has beautiful eyes.
in humour the brits lead and the yanks follow
He's great
Don’t forget his role in The Salton Sea as Pooh bear. That role was solid!!
Kind of surprised one of them didn't mention Bang The Drum Slowly...
Edgar The Bug Men in Black
Mystic Pizza.
I can't empatize with Willy, but I have to admit he is a nice man 😂
Edgar.
Yes I love the way he really showed he isn't a sports guy.
The Searchers, most definitely!
I'm watching this and thinking.... He looks so much like later in life Orson Welles.
back on the donuts
I wonder if the extra who shouted "I'm Spartacus" realised Kubrick directed that one too. If so, what quick thinking. If not, what a coincidence.
