    The Armed Forces of Ukraine (Ukrainian: Збро́йні си́ли Украї́ни), most commonly known in Ukraine as ZSU (Ukrainian: ЗСУ) or anglicized as AFU, are the military forces of Ukraine. All military and security forces, including the Armed Forces, are under the command of the President of Ukraine and subject to oversight by a permanent Verkhovna Rada parliamentary commission. They trace their lineage to 1917, while the modern armed forces were formed after Ukrainian independence in 1991.
    Ukraine's armed forces are composed of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, the Ukrainian Air Force, the Ukrainian Navy, the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces and the Special Operations Forces. Ukraine's navy includes its own Ukrainian Naval Infantry, as well as Ukrainian Naval Aviation. The Territorial Defense Forces serve as the military reserve force and in cases of war, it can be mobilized for civilian volunteers to serve in local defense. The Ukrainian Sea Guard is the coast guard service of Ukraine, and it is organized as part of the Border Guard Service, not subordinate to the navy. The Ukrainian Air Defence Forces were a military branch responsible for anti-aircraft warfare from 1991 until it was merged with the Air Force in 2004.
    Because of the Russian military intervention in Ukraine in 2014, the president commissioned the governors of regions of Ukraine to create volunteer units under the government's Territorial Defense Forces. These units received minimal funding from regional budgets initially and mostly relied on donations. In November 2014, most of the territorial defense battalions were integrated into the Ukrainian Ground Forces. The National Guard of Ukraine serves as a paramilitary reserve component of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
    Following hostilities with Russia in 2014, Ukraine increased the size of its armed forces to 204,000 soldiers (+46,000 civil servants), not counting additional forces such as border guards (53,000), the newly formed National Guard of Ukraine (60,000) or the security service. In 2021, Ukraine's Armed Forces, now numbering 246,445 (including 195,626 military personnel), was the second largest in the region after the Russian Armed Forces.
    Military units of other countries have participated regularly in multinational military exercises with Ukrainian forces in Ukraine.Many of these exercises have been held under the NATO cooperation program Partnership for Peace.

    The sound stuff, then i think of real interest, ferret, spartan n btr 4 - y they didnt summarise as a.p.c anyway? Issit going to be the most sales? In game red alert 2, it is rly not liked, but game and reality is diff. Its more like a ration vehicle. Game, it is easiest finish, waste of money to have(100% to kill). Definitely nice for ration at sea path i think. I dont know abt others' strategy, maybe "just soldiers, finish last" or they somehow become like a copy decision? It shld be first as engineer inside can repair and fix and takeover structures in game. I think best is writing "ration-only and soldiers-only", telling enemy along. If all standard same, thinking of r.c the vehicles to takeover from distance somehow, it shld be slow n in range, means to try be in workforce of vehicle-creation. Then if enemy boots too or glove. Like in "Yuri's Revenge" can control enemy soldiers - means must discuss abt knee and elbow protection and ease during war to insert r.c chip to control their people if in range.

    This is pitiful, so many different systems for them to train on, when they could have easily gotten them equipment they already familiar with but modernize them to NATO standards. They will not use them as effectively as their NATO counterparts

    • @brookwhiteman9810
      @brookwhiteman9810 9 місяців тому

      Nah not really. Tanks and ifvs are the difficult things to train them on an even then 2 months is good enough. Ukraine have become masters at artillery in most cases they have shocked NATO in fact they don't have the fire control and battery command systems that NATO does and yet they have become incredibly accurate also because of their lack of artillery shells they make every single one count. They do this by using reference points and they have built a software called kropiva that helps calculate the most accurate shot and they keep note of all adjustments and will not fire artillery in most cases unless they have drone correction and visual confirmation of the target themselves and so swapping from one piece of artillery to another isn't much because it's aimed and calculated the same way, obviously there is more to it than that but in most cases artillery donated gets put into action weeks from arrival.

      Don't forget about repairs!! I said the same thing though. Insane to have 10 different countries send 10 different tanks. And they dont also ship them to get there atthe same time. Plus your waiting 3 months for a bunch of tanks and ammo. Way to slow delivery..
      I figured this was going to be a walk in the park for russia, and it was....
