What trail is that, was down there last february on an xc bike training fro the blitz. Found the turns too sharp where previous trail builders made a balls of it. Also found a trail i pedalled up but was just left unfinished. I asume the place has be redone and new trails added….. nice video by the way
i assume that the trail you found that was unfinished was one of these trails. its at the side where they built a new fire road. i assume they are only recently finished as they have not been marked yet whenever we were there.
The trail that was left unfinished is was the climb to the start of this trail. It was left unfinished to prevent people riding it whilst the rest was being done. It was all linked a few months ago.
@@Rathbarron2010 i cycled up to where it stopped. Was back in february when i was there. Ill get down in a few weeks hopefully. Looks good now, when i was there the trails near the car park the turns where to sharp to flow i found
Its well worth the drive. The climbs are all well laid out, its gradual climbing trails nothing too steep and plenty of features to break it up in between.
Hi, is the access to these new trails from the same carpark were the 'older' trails go from? Planning to head to Coolaney in the morning but havnt beem to these new ones yet!
hello, yes, its just further up the trail head in the top, opposite the old trails. theres a new climbing trail going up to a new fire road to these trails
rostrevor trailcentre is rubbish. the trails arent natural atall. Terrible flow. Rostrevor is packed full of rider built tracks which are far better. this looks better in Coolaney.
Hi there! the two trails in the video are not rated yet but we were told by a local that they were supposed to be red and black trails(for intermediate-advanced). They do have a few brilliant blue(beginner) rated trails to get you started 🙂
The trails on the sleeve blooms might be as good as them
Sligo her I come! That looks brilliant
I've done that run, It's great. Does your mate have his footage of the ride? I'd like to see it.
these look class gonna have to take a run down, would it be too rough for a hardtail? first one there looks ok.. second looks a little rough
3 of my mates were on hardtails so should be grand. Just need to pick out your lines a bit.
@@BordsCycles ahh sweet, i should survive alright then, might give it a rattle on sunday
@@simonmorrow4081 sweet! Enjoy! 🤘
Not too rough for a Hardtail, I enjoy this place often

@@BordsCycles thanks! We went on Sunday! Vista valley is great fun! Didnt have the legs for the new black!
Where is it? What’s the name? Writing from England
Coolaney
Looks fun but no to answer your question! Rostrevor would be, by far, the best trail centre in ireland due to the natural build of the trails.
i absolutely enjoy Rostrevor too 🤘
Rostrevor is in the UK

An absaloute credit to the builders! I've found myself living for the weekends just so I can get up there!!
Hope you have yourself a good lawyer brother 😋
