@@frankedoodle3798 it will get you to the top no bother, its comfortable and easy on the climbs, just not as quick as the lighter trail bikes.

@@BordsCycles thanks last question - the wheelbase and reach looks very big. At 5'11'would the large be ok?

@@frankedoodle3798 definitely recommend a large at 5’11 , im 5’10 and this was a medium frame, it felt ok but i think i wouldve been able to get away with a large.

@@irfanhaffianto324 heard colossus is nice too. the spire nx would be around that weight in stock form, i swapped out to lighter wheels and tyre casing to bring it down just around 17. dont get me wrong, its still a heavy bike but i felt it never really held me back on the climbs.

Thanks! im 177cm, 30-31 inch inseam, running 780mm wide bars, 140mm fork. i went for the large frame, initially i had 35mm stem length but the bike felt cramp and the weight distribution felt way off, i swapped to a 50mm stem and the bike feels amazing. i would suggest running the bike with at least a 50mm stem in your case

hopefully better conditions next year 🤞

i love that trail, i’d gladly pitch in next time you’s are planning to do any work up there for the summer.

agree, but the first two can have decent flow on the regular bike, you do need to be very picky with your lines and pump the back of every bump.

cheers! i updated the description with links to the seals and lower leg tool. far as i know they only come in blue, skf have dark green ones but wanted to give the enduro seals a go because they claim to get rid of the stiction issues with forks like the z2.

hello, yes, its just further up the trail head in the top, opposite the old trails. theres a new climbing trail going up to a new fire road to these trails

i assume that the trail you found that was unfinished was one of these trails. its at the side where they built a new fire road. i assume they are only recently finished as they have not been marked yet whenever we were there.

The trail that was left unfinished is was the climb to the start of this trail. It was left unfinished to prevent people riding it whilst the rest was being done. It was all linked a few months ago.

@@Rathbarron2010 i cycled up to where it stopped. Was back in february when i was there. Ill get down in a few weeks hopefully. Looks good now, when i was there the trails near the car park the turns where to sharp to flow i found

rostrevor trailcentre is rubbish. the trails arent natural atall. Terrible flow. Rostrevor is packed full of rider built tracks which are far better. this looks better in Coolaney.
