This prefab house also has several different options and is built as a modular home! The manufacturer for this house is Structural Modulars, INC. The model for this home is the “CUSTOM CAPE 28X48" This home has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and has roughly 1,400(main level) square foot. Let me know what you think about the video! We have been in the mobile home business for years, and thought why not upload videos about something we can relate to and deal with every day.
We have seen the mobile home business come such a long way. In the old days most people referred to mobile homes as a trailer house. However some of the manufactured homes we carry are far from “trailer houses.”

Even though the walls aren't finished upstairs the furniture gives you a really good idea how large the area is and how it could be used. 👍
98% perfect main level layout. I do not like a closet entrance in the bathroom, but I’ll bet that could be fixed. This is a really smart layout: stairs across from entrances; bathroom near the door; no wasted hallway; no kitchen corners; good light; great multi-use space upstairs. Lovely!

Now THAT is my kind of shower! NO GLASS TO KEEP CLEAN! As a 62 yr old grandmother of 13, great grandmother of 2 with another on the way, the less work time, the more play time I have. LOVE THIS!
I love that the upstairs wasn't finished but they staged it anyway.
And yes I would add a garage and always use the side door 😏
Our 87/88 Modular home is set up similar to this. We have a front door that is rarely used. Double door that goes out on the deck, and a side door that come into the washer/ dryer room, it was labeled the mud room when we got it. Then into the kitchen. It’s that side door that’s used the most.
I love how the upstairs was staged! The shed dormers are so worth the space

Super nice house Chance! Love the exterior color, the guest bath floor, the big windows above the kitchen sink, the island, the huge dining room, the whole house! Awesome 2nd story.
I'd pull all carpet, add a couple windows and spend most of my time upstairs, crocheting, painting, crafting in each little window nook! Sweet house!

I like this house. I like the two bedrooms downstairs both with a bathroom. The bedroom by the stairs seems like the primary suite. Loved the upstairs for teenagers with their own living room/ study area between their bedrooms. Nice 4 bedroom house.
I love this kitchen. Reason..... Straight pieces, no corners to lose things! Love that!
It looks almost like one of those little red turn-of-the-century schoolhouses!

Really nice Home! They did include a large selection of stuff into this relatively small home while keeping it open and not feeling cramped! It is Cozy but expertly done!

Beautiful home...just wish I didn't live so far away from the showroom. Shipping to Kansas would probably be astronomical.
Liked the layout and loved the tile shower. Appreciate they spent extra effort to set up the 2nd floor, and they let you imprompt show it. ❤
Again, great filming! You always get the rooms from every angle.
On the house:
Nice lights in the eves on the outside. Makes the house nice n visible from the street. Good traditional siding that can be easily replaced.
I like the 3 entrances. That mudroom and bathroom at the side entrance is very Pittsburgh. Take off all your gear when you come in. I'd make that pantry into a coat closet honestly.
The one piece tub/shower by the mudroom looks easy to clean. That bedroom looks flexible enough to be a regular bedroom, guest room, office, den, hobby space.
Open kitchen to living room makes it feel big. Not in love with the sink, range, fridge arrangement. They're spaced weird for food prep. I'd swap the range and fridge. Or possibly just put the range where the sink is, and the sink in the island. I'm meh about any of the carpet. I'd want the same flooring throughout.
Nice there's a basement option.
Nice lights in the downstairs main bed in addition to the overhead boob light. Creates lighting options. The double sinks n medicine cabinets is nice for 2 person storage. Good size walk in closet. I'd immediately change the long wall to be double hang. Pocket door there is fine, but in my opinion not necessary. This isn't a public bathroom. I'd rather have the pocket door where the barn door is because barn doors limit furniture placement. I like a window in the shower. It's up high and doubles as a shelf. I'd like if it actually opened out like an awning for ventilation. Missed opportunity for double shower head. But the threshold free tile and lack of glass door makes this shower more physically accessible. Not sure how easy that tile is to clean.
Unfinished upstairs offers options. Especially with the dormers. Those knee walls are what, 4 ft tall? What's the overall ceiling hight both down and upstairs? Any plumbing rough-ins up there? I wasn't seeing any. A bath (or half) and even a kitchenette could make that space pop. That easily doubles the square footage of the house. You could make a few bedrooms, a giant master suite, or a big party room.
That thing is nuts expensive. Good luck to anyone building it.

I’m new to your channel and manufactured homes in general. I’m currently saving up for one and I’m hoping to get it in the next 1-2 years. I would love to see more models that are in the 800-1000 sq ft range with 2 bedrooms. I know there are models out there, just not videos on them. Love the bigger floor plans but they would probably be out of my price range, and too big for the lots I have been looking at.
Go back on some of his older videos. There are really nice single wides that he has done.
Your comment about friends and family coming in the back door instead of the front door made me remember a sign on the back backdoor of some friends house a long time ago. It's simply said,
Backdoor Friends Are Best !

Other than the stairs being directly behind the front door. This is one of the best models you’ve featured.
Finally, a roll-in shower! So convenient when we get older.
Bedrooms are tight, without dressers. Kitchen ,living area ok. Love that furniture was added to upstairs, thats the Selling point on this one.
I would put two bedrooms and a bath upstairs.
I’m impressed, as nice as the main floor is I don’t need the upstairs. It’s past my budget but it’s nice to dream. I’m glad you came through the back door that’s the door I use all the time anyway. I like this house and your video Chance. Hard to believe the number one house is a single section home. That shows what people are looking for and can afford. Happy new year

Absolutely beautiful!! I would love to have a home like that. The floor plan is just exquisite for me. You see I’m a widow and I have a cast in my right foot and the doctor say there’s other things at my body has wrong with it but I’m believing my Lord Jesus Christ for a whole incomplete healing to my body and right now my doctor say I can’t work because several things I love watching these videos of homes so I appreciate and thank you for showing them. May God bless you and your family and keep you safe throughout the year. But again this house is exactly what I would love to have, so maybe one day and thank you, I appreciate it.

This your was fun .the floor plan was pleasing. It checked all the boxes of my dream. Except one .I could still make it work. My older friends could stay overnight. I really like the master shower . I would need a wand.

I'm so glad that someone has thought to give you an idea of what it could look like upstairs. I'd have the small side finished out as storage and the other side as a lovely master bedroom and bathroom. I don't know if it's because I'm from the UK but I'm not keen on my bedroom downstairs off the living room. Plus when I was a kid we lived in two houses where my bedroom was next to the living room and it was horrible with the TV on or people up and about when you're trying to sleep. I really, really like this house. I would have thought that the shower head in the master bathroom would be on the other side, then you wouldn't have to have a shower curtain. Really lovely place 😊

I really love the layout of this place. I would put a couple of bedrooms upstairs, along with a bathroom.
Pocket doors are great. I have 3 that were put in to replace doors that swung into each other.
Hey my brother lives in that town! I do love pocket doors! I have the same light fixtures that are above the master room bed in my house. You are in my neck of the woods only I live closed to Lake Erie. I think it would look so much nicer to have a regual door into the bathroom than the barn doors, but it dawned on me that maybe they don't do that because it is on the marriage wall and no space for a pocket door. I do like this house, has everything I would need. I think that is a great idea to decorate the upstairs!

Nice home! The right size, minus the upstairs, for a single person.
That shower is perfect barrier free good for someone like myself that has to use a shower chair on wheels that is a real bonus feature sure wish you focused on it a little more

I really like this one with just a singular exception. I really don't like stairs right when you walk through the front door.
First off I love the content, I'm from Lizana, Mississippi and currently living in Maine. I'd like to look into location options for this particular home.
I was disappointed in the shower head in the master bath. Of course, they may have options for that. It seems they’d want to have a higher end shower heads in such a pretty shower.
you got to have c/fans in each room
Also, the siding is cheap vinyl you expect brick or hardi board for that price .
