Six years ago 40% of Americans had passports?? This is crazy. Walking 40miles with backpacks for 3 days, even crazier! But also sounds so idylic so many of the little villages you visited and places you only stop by once in a lifetime. And I am so glad Kirstie stopped smoking since then
Yes!!! Isn’t that WILD! I think it’s a little better now as younger generations are more likely to travel which is so amazing. But yes some of our favorite memories are from places we never knew existed before arriving and we absolutely love that about traveling

More about it in depth on a future episode!! But I think it’s less about never visiting a place again out of danger or fear but more so because we feel we really experienced it and don’t feel like we missed any of the highlights, if that makes sense! Many of the places we travel to we have a long long list of things we want to do or see before we leave and if we complete the list we feel really proud and satisfied that we visited that destination to its fullest ❤️
