I'm new to VR golf but an avid real world golfer so I wasn't happy with just the controller either. On the other hand the ones I saw to buy had ( in my opinion ) way too many "broke the first day" type reviews. So I searched and found a video from a guy who made his own. Pretty much copied that. Cost me $10 in parts plus the sacrifice of an old wedge that was no longer part of my "gamer" set. Modified the build just a bit and added weights so that it really feels like swinging a club. Perfect! I'd suggest going that route. Didn't take much time to build, took a few minutes to adjust it in the game ( there is a custom spot where the other handles are listed ) and I'm completely satisfied with the ongoing result.
You made me test to see if the weights can be removed. They can. It needs some serious oomph though. I used a latex coated glove and they did come off.
I just got the Drivr elite mini. I love it! I would imagine the larger original version would feel more realistic due to the weight distribution, but j don't have a lot of room to swing, so was concerned with the elite, so opted for the mini.
Hello, thank you very much for your time and effort to make this video. I find it very helpful. Maybe it would have more views, if you would put other mire specific keywords in title and description. Like Meta Quest 3, Yezro etc. Wish you a lovely weekend. Kind Regards David
Love my Yezro! I liked my Helloreal with weight ring, but the Yezro is so much better. Easy to get to controller buttons. Protects the controller, and is the best controller mounting system, fast and easy. The Deadeye has nice weight, but the way the controller is far down the shaft and upside down makes using it a real pain.
Most on the Golf+ attachment videos are made by VR guys that play golf as one of many games whereas you're a true golfer trying VR so I think your perspective on the best attachment is really valuable. I'm looking to buy a club attachment for the Quest 3 Golf +. Looking at other videos the top recommended attachments are: Yezro 24/26" weighted (which you reviewed) Yezro 90° weighted AMVR (which you reviewed) Yoges (least expansive and not weighted) DeadEye DriVR Elite (most expansive, weighted) I think if you did a solid review of all the top options on one video, with the right keywords you could get a lot of views 😉 your overall top recommendation, best value for the $$, does weighted/not weighted really matter, etc. Thanks for the great videos so far and best of luck!
Driver Elite is the best option. You can attach it to a club shaft cut to the length of your choice and adjust the weights. Best for full swing feel and stops you from missing out on weighted swing practice. I’m a +1 IRL and stay between +5 and +10 Golf+ for reference
@@KnowUhhhave you found that golf+ messed with your real world swing at all? My real world game has come a long way this summer (+6) bit where we are heading into the winter off season, I'm nervous that this may undo it.
@@TheJhuss10 are you able to continue practice with or swinging your real clubs occasionally? Getting the weighted setup I have now does help because even in game you have to have the correct swing path on Pro. I don’t play amateur unless I double the weight like a swing trainer
Thanks I will try it.
