What kind of planner I am is up in the air, I'm just starting with my first Happy Planner in January. I last used a planner in nursing school to track assignments, tests, and clinical rotations. For that purpose, I used a horizontal layout and LOVED IT!
    Sketches would be great!
    Thank you, Di ❤

Hey if you loved the horizontal then stick with it! Gonna be trying the sketches in 2025, probably rotating layouts each month

This video was SO helpful! Many of the planners I love are vertical layout, but I haven’t been able to make them work so far. You helped my brain make sense of the layout and possible options. Thank you!!!

I'm a free form planner! I need room/boxes for events/work mostly on weekends but don't want it structured. It has to be functional and pretty with every week a different design and theme. This year I am currently using a classic vertical. I'm interested in sketches of layouts. Thanks for all the inspiration. Hope this week is better for you.

I'm the same Lisa re needing different theme/design each week. I can't do the same thing every week. One vote for sketches!!! ❤

I'm freestyle. I use boxes for dates, appointments, and events. I use bullets or checklists for to-dos, but I like to have them flow with decor with varying layouts for each spread.

I’m pretty go with the flow. I put boxes where I need them then decorate all over the place around them.
I’d love sketches and ideas! ❤

Another vote for the sketches! I might do a different layout each month and rotate them!

Thanks for the info. I am new to Happy Planners so I think I need to try a couple methods. I was a teacher so I know how to set it up like a lesson plan book but I think I need to try something new!

You are so welcome! Have you looked at the teacher layout? Kinda similar but more sections.

I’m the structured daily type but it’d be nice to integrate decorative patterns

Have you tried a creative journal to satisfy the decorative desire? Sometimes throwing out the linear-ness of needing to use it as a planner helps us be more creative. I know for me, the vertical HAS to be structured otherwise I don't use it. We go down the columns and that's it! But using it for a journal I can be more free with it.

Hi, themes can be tricky. I tend to use the #plannerstashchallenge for monthly themes, or use brownielocks.com for weird holiday ideas. The other thing you could do is check out this video ua-cam.com/video/-YpVRt1ChZ0/v-deo.html for some ideas!

I'm a freestyle gal....how does one get on your mailing list? Is there a fee?
