Sad to say, but I think the only way we'll be able to play Astro Bot on a PSVR 2 is if it gets ported to PC and someone mods it. 😢 Maybe a port of Rescue Mission could happen, but so far Sony has shown zero interest in porting their PSVR 1 games to PSVR 2. As for a VR specific game, I think it's doubtful. I think Asobi is a one project team, meaning the VR game wouldn't be started until after Astro Bot ships, and would then have to go through a multi-year development cycle, putting its release near the end of the PS5's lifespan. Unfortunately a lot of game developers, even ones that have made VR games, don't really understand some of the things that can work in VR. People on PC are modding Crash Bandicoot 4, the Spyro remake, and Sackboy's Big Adventure to run in VR using UEVR and apparently they're all great. All the mod does is put your head where the camera is, and it works. This could have been done with Astro Bot, but Mr. Doucet's stance is that unless they were going to make it a great VR game full of VR interactions, there's no point. I think most PSVR 2 users would disagree and would prefer even very basic VR integration over no VR support at all. It's very disappointing.

I'm staying optimistic, and i really don't see a future where team Asobi doesn't do anything for PSVR2. Only time will tell though!
@@nothingbutgaming1996 I hope you're right! Sony's just not giving me a lot of reason to be optimistic at the moment.
