I did the same to my 2009 Yamaha r1, even tho I adjusted it it went back to 15. The way will keep it at that level even if you play with it. That what happened to me. Unless any of you guys would know how to adjust the idle on a 2009 Yamaha r1. I tried the TPS, and plates sensor. Nothing changed the idle speed.??
Update DON'T do this operation !!! Other position sensor then 16 will cause oil in the crankcase. After 900 km my oil level was creeping up, about 350ml.

My TPS max out at 93. Yours at 97. Is it supposed to be at 100?

Why did you have to do this? Because I just purchased a 2008 and it has play in the throttle.
Play is solved from just tightening the cable

No, check plugs. Air filter, vacuum hoses.
