The easiest way to retrofit an oil cooling system to your Mercedes M111 M104 OM605 OM606 engine

  • In this video I show you a very nice new product which will be available in my online shop from now on. This oil adaptor kit replaces the original oil level sensor (A1245420017) on the oil pan and allows to pick up the oil from the sump, pump it through an oil cooler and return it through the adaptor back into the sump. This easy and cheap way to provide an oil cooling system can be installed within a few hours. It fits to engines like Mercedes M102, M103, M104, M111, OM601, OM602, OM603, OM604, OM605, OM606.

    Nice part but having in/out too close each others in the pan wouldn’t decrease efficiency of full oil volume cooling recirculation?

      They are just prototypes, I had to modify much on the engine mount arms and chassis. But I will develop some soon and put them in my online shop.

    hello, I have such an engine (606 dieselmeken) in a boat and there is a problem with the pressure of the hot oil,
    I was thinking about such a solution. Have you already done the tests? the oil does not foam? the pressure of the hot oil has increased?

    More great work can the adaptor be also used as a turbo oil drain with a T piece? Aldo’s this suitable for a daily Turbo car rather than track/race car?

      Yes this is also perfectly suitable for a daily turbo car. For oil return it could work but you would have to make sure the return is not somehow restrictet

    Hallo, könnte man auch anstatt dem Ölstandsensor eine platte machen um einen Öltemperatursensor zu verbauen? oder liegt das öllevel tiefer unten?
    Hello, could you make a plate instead of the oil level sensor to install an oil temperature sensor? or is the oil level lower down?

    Is there a reason you don’t just use an oil filter relocation plate and plumb it into that? Won’t need an extra pump doing that and also the oil filter can be in a lot better position.

      It also has further advantages to separate cooling circle and high pressure circle

      @@CZSMotorsport wow I didn’t realise the oil filter housing on the m111 was different. It looks more like one from an m113
