I think this is really cool. They look and sound the part and they never break character. That's the kind of education that really sticks with me. Bring the people in so we dont just have to read about them in textbooks.
I love, when asked about their children, Jefferson went into detail about his kids and Hamilton kind of kept it mysterious. He didn't talk about Philip or Angelica at all.

I really just wanted to shout at Thomas and Alexander, "what if you just combine your ideas so states have individuality without being separate _countries_ ?!" Edit: at the beginning, that is
That’s what’s so great about them (and Washington). They both had radically different ideas for America, but between both of their struggles to get their way, we got this great balance of them which has worked for over 200 years, and Washington was the perfect in-between for them, which is why he was probably the greatest president (although he did generally side more with Hamilton and the Federalist Party, leading to Jefferson’s resignation).
"turn around, bend over-I'LL SHOW YOU WHERE MY SHOE FITS" ok, now that that's over with Thomas Jefferson was really just stubbornly clinging to what he first wanted the country to be. His logic is the very reason the articles of confederation failed and why Hamilton began to rise in political prominence for his ideal to establish a strong federal government
LA purchase was done through the treaty process which was within the negotiating ability and authority of the President...in addition to the impeachment option if Jefferson had overstepped his authority. He struggled with this at first because of his fidelity to the Constitution, and why he sought advice from the father of the Constitution himself, Madison.
They wouldn't like it, if I was in that Audience. They would look at me and immediately judge, that i am the enemy; by the paleness of my skin and when I speak (the Thames Estuary-English tone). An Essex-born Briton in a foreign nation
A parliamentary system like that of Britain might work better for a smaller cohesive country like Britain, but where various states and provinces are being represented, a Senate like was made is almost necessary. This is cool. I think it's neat how they can have differing views, without a hard sharp good guy or bad guy division.
Which would go to show how very little Hamilton knows about Jefferson's relationship with Sally. To which Jefferson could reply with Hamilton's extramarital affair, which cost Hamilton his political career.

I know Hamilton would rather not have this debate. I will remind you he is NOT Secretary of State.
He knows nothing of loyalty.

I wished someone asked about the Hamilton-Reynolds Scandal...
perhaps it would have been awkward. But yes, I agree.
I don't, it would have been pointless and has nothing to do with the debate or why the kids were there, or what they were suppose to learn
