I have landed here many times in an Embraer E190 and for us its very challenging because of the short runway, terrain and non precision approach. To see a Boeing 787 land in that distance, I have nothing but respect for the crew
Wow, this is really the best I have seen so far. A must-see for ATPL students :) If someone could translate the French discussions into English subtitles, that would be perfect.
Another brilliant video. It's great to see behind the scenes for us that we don't have the opportunity to stay in the cockpit. Greetings from Argentina! ********** Otro video brillante. Es genial ver el detrás de escena para nosotros que no tenemos la oportunidad de estar en la cabina. Saludos desde Argentina! :)
It must be very strange for a pilot to fly for hours, arrive at destination airport to get in his car to go home. Here you are flying this huge machine in the air for hours and now you get in a small car to drive home. I wonder if the pilot also does a mental checklist before starting his car? LOL!!! And once he gets home and in his driveway, if he has a set shut down procedure or checklist as well in his head! LOL! :)
Thanks for the clip video Captain you and the two second pilots is all i need on my airbus flow Tanks dealings with as yours skills and experience training All of you are good professional's I injoy it to flow with you in a beautiful Country this is a beautiful, beautiful Where you flow and what you talked and explains to as tells as your wonderful area Never forget you best wonderful beautiful atendens chef im love to saw the wonderful tread they given to the passengers Tanks My God bless you and grew as well your family Thanks Terainian My God bless you a
They use instruments for locale not visual references. Pilots are taught in school how to fly with a hood over their eyes to force them to count on instruments.

Bruhhhhh the runway is hell of short I never thought a 787 could land on this, good job
Really great video, impressive and great work by the pilots!
I can't say I liked this video 'cause I LOVED it! :-). Thank you very much for the insight.

Great Job landing on such a short Runway.
J'ai visité Mayotte 5 fois et j'ai me toujours bien amusé avec l'atterisage. Bravo!

Wow very nice vedio .very good pilot sir 🌍🌍
Very impressive indeed
Nice landing. To save others the time... FMCZ's runways are just 6332ft long. They seem to be planning a longer one.
Would the runway has been long enough without reverse thrust? that doesnt look like you can land a 787 without reversers
listening to captain telling his crew when started flying 30 years ago.
Am i the only one who is tripping to this beautiful B787
@1:18:19 ; Aaaaaaahhh i need to pull the reverse thrust!!! Aaaaaahhh.
The pilot looks really sharp , military experience is always a plus!
Thanks for the clip video

quite fascinating to watch cockpit video especial this to reunion
Excellent airline from my island 😊
At the begining it's looks like a simulate game
That landing scared me it must have been quite or in fact very stressful and yet perfectly executed ..well done crew 👍📈
Amazing videos! Can't believe I just found your channel! Really great content!
Very nice video
Wow what a plane, my dad was an aerospace engineer for boeing in the 60's...
Does that flight count as time towards the second officer's flight log (flying time)?
Where did the flight originate from? I can't understand these guys.
Great video I didn’t know Mayotte was a French Island. Thanks. I wish i could visit, but its too far away. Thanks.
Took me a while to figure out that he was saying Madras, India.
on this heading is it a 'captain only' land in the 787? (and what about smaller types?)
Exelente ,impresionante ,es increible el imaginar ir en una cabina claro se que es imposible pero a de ser un placer, en fin muy buen video
Great video and flight. But the more important question is, did they get the fish? 🤔
What a jet!! B787
While in reverse, why does the captain press the clock button?
Super, le coup du koissa koissa m'a bien fait rire !
Gettin 'em boozed up early.
Waiting! :)
i would like bogota-madrid with iberia or any airline
Excelllent CRM.
how long is the runway here?
Superb
How to move on ground without using yoke?
Airport ICAO code?
41:24 background music name pls???
Come to Tanzania Air clip
Music name??
Water, boats, houses a mountain....cannot even imagine a night approach......yikes....

i though the 787 had a side stick
They do but still use rudder pedals to steer on the ground.
A380 has a sidestick.
😮😮😬😬
