From my research, I've seen some unrealistically fast stock 458 60-130 times that are in low 8s or high 7s. However, most owners on the forums are reporting 9.3-9.5 second. For reference, my old 6-speed non-LP Gallardo with a similar power to weight ratio ran 9.9-10.1 pretty consistently.
I know it’s got to be super hard to produce videos of this quality but man please keep them coming every video u release is good even if it’s a car I wasn’t initially interested in or like this a 458 I seen a million times your cinematic quality is so good and production quality it makes it fun all over again.
The only thing that we want from u is to post videos weekly, the cinematic and videos quality are way better than these $1M subscribers channels , Good job Oyagi
Although the fog seemed a bit limiting at first, I thought that that shot looking at the 458 down the runway with the fog backdrop was screensaver worthy. Really nice shots.
Awesome dude! I am saving money for a new RS7, but if I didn’t want a 4 door I would definitely look into a 458 or a gallardo. The R8 is also very tempting.
The F430 is the sweet spot. Raw. Single clutch drama. More authentic than the 458 that can feel a little detached (and actually a little too fast) at times. The 430 - as a road car - is close to perfection.
Yo if you could get your hands on a Pontiac Solstice GXP or a Saturn Sky Redline, those cars have the potential to be track monsters with some basic mods.
@@SpeedLabsMotorEnvy nice, we have similar taste in watches, I think I’ve also spotted some seiko divers we both have too. If I was closer you could test out my Carrera T, I think it would be a sweet spot manual Porsche that you would love and probably want to buy immediately haha
What was your quarter mile time, any 0-60, 0-100mph data? I ran 11.1s quarter mile in my stock 458 without launch control, weather was too cold for LC so it just spun up, so think a high 10s pass is possible on warmer day at drag strip. :)
@Gibbo205 High 10s is definitely possible in the right conditions. Cool weather, sticky drag strip. But on our airfield, the pavement isn’t prepped and it’s very similar to street conditions. We ran 11.2 @ 129 but you can find more of the data here >>> bit.ly/thefastlist
Was the interior falling apart? Lol not even joking, every 458’s interior I’ve seen is falling apart or rattles lol. They look and sound fantastic though. As always great work.
First things first, this car should’ve been made in manual, not just auto. Now let’s see what this thing is really made of I like how you added the “remove before flight” in the intro The 458 is a beautiful car honestly. I wasn’t much of a fan of the rear end but I love the rest of the car. Woohoo fog. That sucks This thing sounds really nice. Always loved the sound of the 458 This car is pretty nuts with a tune. Surprising tbh I spy a very special lotus in the background 👀👀👀 Pretty cool video this time around. A little short but the odds weren’t in your favor on this one. Fog, and low time. It was good to see some numbers from the 458 though. It’s a very interesting car, but it’s a car id never buy in auto. Cheers 🥂
You can get a 430 if you like rowing your own gears but honestly, the engine and the dual-clutch is so good in the 458. The soundtrack and the steering take over the experience it's that good.
@Noble Vigilance The 458 is probably going to one of those classic collector items in the future, or at least I know the Speciale version will be. It’s a great driver’s car. I really wish I saw these crazy price hikes coming, I would’ve definitely bought a 458 before all of this and maybe some other stuff. But hey, I guess at least I got the Lotus in time. Thanks for the comment bro.

The 458 isn't just one of the greatest gateway Ferrari ever, it's THE ALL-TIME GREAT.
The 458 has aged gracefully

Two videos in one week!!! Appreciate it, Dan! The fog added such a crazy feeling from the cockpit.
“The power deliver is bipolar” haha love it
@Chief Morso Thank you! Yeah, having less than 100 feet of visibility is definitely nerve racking when you're going 150MPH but, certainly looks cool.
Glad these videos are coming in 4K for a while now. This car is underrated, it looks beautiful, sounds beautiful & is really iconic.

Not the Gallardo, shitty transmission.
I love the 458Italia and brought me back to the brand.
That’s the Italia now imagine the Speciale, more hardcore more power and less weight.
Having driven one of these on track I am in love with them, insanely quick
Good video and information. You and your wife are doing a fine job. I have not seen a disappointing video that both of you have produced
