Pikmin 3 Mission Mode - Battle Enemies #03: Thirsty Desert (Platinum/No Deaths)

- In Battle Enemies, the goal is to defeat every enemy in the map. You don't need to carry all of them back, just kill them. Unlike most Collect Treasure maps, you can breed more pikmin from onions in this mode. So knowing how many of each you should raise is the key to saving the most time. As an unneeded difficulty boost, I will be clearing these without losing any pikmin.
Collect Treasure - Stage #03: Thirsty Desert
Pikmin available: Red / Rock / Blue
This version of Thirsty Desert isn't particularly difficult. Once again, the captains are split up. Charlie starts with the blues, Alph with the reds and Brittany with the rocks.
Alph and Brittany should focus on reuniting and working on their area while Charlie should work alone. The reds's onion is in a horrible position in this map and reds aren't immediately useful for anything, so don't bother raising more of them. Same with the rocks, you'll be fine with your starting ones (unless you fear losing some of them).
Charlie will put in most work, as his side is filled with pikmin-eater bugs and a big bulbear. The good thing is, he's isolated, so you can ignore him until you're ready to deal with him. Again, bomb swallowing is the most efficient method. As for the skitterleaf, be quick with your throws as they're grouped together in big numbers. You'll have to kill one by one, with flawless aiming if you don't want to lose pikmin against them.
Oh, and there's a whiptongue bulborb, too, but he's not too hard to deal with.

They pretty much are, since you need to kill all enemies too get platinum in collect treasures levels

I think a rock died to the whiptoungue but the game didn't count it in the total pikmin
Let me know, if you think the video isn't no deaths, at which point a pikmin died. It's actually a pretty big worry for me, 'cause I can't tell sometimes if a pikmin died or not. It might've died off-screen and I'll never know.
Never mind. Now that I rewatched the video, I can tell I was wrong.
