from a design aspect this game is amazing, hopefully everything will come into place it looks really good already
I think everyone should try this but more importantly these types of games are being made more and more often and will be a trend for the future, and I am not talking about Biotmutant but "AA" games like Hellblade and Outlaws. Everyone should be excited because developers can get more creative and artistic with their games without the risk of AAA budget. As AAA games become more expensive to make I see more developers making these type of games like Hellblade, Outlaw, and Biotmutant (again). Have a good day.
Sahid Marquez True. However, there is always the possibility that AA games will become so prominent, that they will evolve back into AAA games. Hopefully, the market won't become too saturated or budgets get too out of hand, otherwise we'll just end up right back where we started.

Alex Kennard Unless the AA game becomes a big hit and warranted a AAA budget I don't think many will revert back to AAA unless they are big hits but I doubt it until Microsoft or Sony wants to acquire the IPs for their consoles as exclusives. But we will see either bigger developers pumping smaller AA budgets or people forming their studios to create those AA games in case with Biomutant which were ex-developers from the Just Cause series to form their own studios to create these games. I doubt many AA games will become AAA games but if it is it's for the better as there still will be many original AA games being pumped by said studios.

Everyone a game doesnt have to have uncharted 4 type graphics to be good a good game is about gameplay and if the game Is fun and entertaining, stop complaining the graphics aren't that bad anyway.
Lj's Metallica t-shirt It's early to judge graphics and they shouldn't be an assurance of a game's quality. But I only have to see the first five minutes of gameplay to know I'm going to have a hard time getting into this game. After coming from the trailer I expected this game to have a lot more close-up action and encounters. Combat is pretty clunky and clearly scripted and, though it may be subject to change later on, I don't expect it evolving past this. Just more smooth and clean. I hope this game ends up being good cause I need a new game to play

The name Biomutant sounds like something from the 80's or 90's. I actually looked up if it was a reboot or a remake and no it's completely original.

I get what you mean, but this is a demo that is meant to make people interested hence they show a gameplay demo. I was interested after i watched the trailer, but after seeing this demo it's quite visible that it looks so scripted and the combat and movement looks really clunky which is a turn off for a lot of people including me
people buy the game, not just YOU. if they release a demo that is not up to expectation, then they deserve getting roasted for it. I don't care if it's pre-alpha, if they have the guts to announce and show it, then they better take responsibility for what's on the plate
I can't wait for this... I grew up in a world with animals protagonists, Fur Fighters, Blinx the Time Sweeper, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokémon, Crash Bandicoot, etc and I miss them, and love to see cute animals take more brutal roles in games! I also really love the comic book icons/words/counters.

If ppl who left negative comments waited to he end of the video, their concerns would have been assuaged I believe. Entire demo took place inside like a "dungeon" area. More story focused, but at the very end it shows how it has a huge open world with some extremely creative designs. Totally looking forward to it.

If you see this, Biomutant looks absolutely amazing. The combat looks lovely and smooth, enemy types look good so far, graphics are good, and your physics look amazing.
I'm 100% invested in this game. I love your previous work, so I'm highly anticipating this new game.
I haven't checked if it's available for pre-order yet but I definitely will be. I hope the game is as good as you hope.
I miss quirky games like these. Still remember the Crash Bandicoot kind of action games like fifteen years ago. Man, those were the good old times..
Biomutant is probably going to be the best rpg game in 2018 if cyberpunk doesn't release .

People call the gameplay clunky, yet fallout 4 has clunky gameplay and the witcher 3 has clunky gameplay. So why not give this game some time before judging it.

entourage1822 I'm not saying the witcher is a bad game... Greatest open world ever... I'm just saying that the gameplay wasn't that great, but gameplay isn't all that matters. Witcher had a great story and an amazing open world... I just hate it when people judge a game without even playing it. This looks like something fresh and exciting... What I just ment is that people are to quick to judge. In my opinion it it looks better than fallout 4 which was just fallout 3 remasterd

Whats wrong with you? All this hate about graphic games are not only about that. There are tons of games where the graphic is not like witcher 3 but the game is great. You didnt even play it and saw like 10minutes of an alpha. The game is super smooth and combat feels amazing. Would you be more happy to see a presentation graphic that wont be in the game in the end?

Unless the developers royally mess this up somehow, this game already has my full support. It is a 3D action adventure with a stylised world and an interesting premise.
This already scratches the itch of the lost genre of game that used to be filled by Ratchet, Jak and Daxter, and Sly Cooper. Toss on some swordplay and character customization and you have a one-of-a-kind game. My heart couldn't ask for more from a new IP.

How to spot a blind hater: They rightfully complainwhen they are presented with a cgi trailer or a fake gameplay trailer which ends up being worse in the final product, but then they also complain when a company gives you a peek at their unfinished game I repeat UNFINISHED! Istead of a lie like The Division and NMS or possibly even Anthem, There is just no winning with them.
When gamers worry about graphics on console -.- go to PC if that's all ur worried about

For me, graphics are good, will be even better in the end, combat is good, will be better in the end, but I just hope that in the final product, there will be more characters, because here I was 4 or 5 big guys and they were all the same model and had same actions, only one had shield and another threw stuff. Hope they change that and add ome more variety.
The way you can chain together attacks looks so smooth an amazing! I love the complexity to his mechanic ands the karma system. I have faith that this game will be a breath of fresh air can't wait to give it a try

EDIT: i hate it how everyone is bitching about graphics. people dont seem to appeciate art styles anymore today. same with zelda, dishonored, mario, cuphead. all they care for seems to be high resolution textures. they also seem to ignore how amazing the lighting looks. i am really looking forward to it.

I like how they add the comical 'POW' effects, and thing like that. It reminds me of a darker 'Sly Cooper' game (as far as gameplay goes).
Plz gamers you already know that games have different stages as they are developed, pre alpha, alpha, beta etc... this is the the game is in an alpha state, and still it looks great for alpha.
The graphics are ok as long as it runs very smooth and without pop ups!

Finally. A good game. I'm tired of Early Access incomplete games. Games with day one DLC and add-ons. It's all so exhausting, and just no longer enjoyable to play most new games. But what I see here is a wonderfully crafted experience. My body is ready.

Love the concept and very invested, but I would like the camera to be in a closer view. It seems fitting to make it a more cinematic perspective by being closer up, especially since it's going to be Kung-fu-esque. I'm sure the combat will be improved or at least is more deep as the story goes along and you unlock/ make progress for stuff.
I'm so hyped for this game! I've been wanting a game like this for ages and I especially love the creature in the wheelchair!

This game reminds me a lot of those random ps2/Xbox 360 games that would turn up out of nowhere, be really weird but really fun, it also reminds me a bit of the rayman games that I used to play on PlayStation and Xbox, I think I'll pick this game up when it's released

man i crave survival games like ark, and dayz, especially games set in post apcolyptic worlds that the main reason im really liking this game it has such a unique world, i just hope that the dev in the interview doesnt lie to us like a certain space game dev once did to me and many others
