Thumbs up for this fantastic musician! He plays with such ease! It really looks like second nature to him.
The white jazz with maple fretboard sounds the best to me.
I love p bodies more.
If Squire comes out with more color and fretboard options for these pj basses, I would totally get one without hesitation. (Metallic tangerine orange with maple fretboard would be killer!)

I saw another review on this guitar series from a couple of years ago. He complained that the preamps were useless and didn't do anything. Even with my bad hearing, I can hear the changes when the treble and bass boost are adjusted. Great review and great chops. Kudos!

That burst 4 string has a real fretless quality to it,sounds awesome.
These things look super sick. I’ve heard of a lot of people having problems with the electronics though. They are lacking in QC.
We make sure they are QCed before they go out on the floor!

@@dethpig420Facts! Had issues with sound on the contemporary active in the beginning. I swapped batteries, and it's been going good ever since, a year ago. I purchased it online from Sweetwater.
I wish they would have done something with the pickguard on the P to make it different. Metal swoop? Like the J has the missing control cover is different and cool. Also, the shoreline gold... idk about that black head stock. Matching would have been the ticket. Very cool that they are using graphite nuts on some of the models. Can't wait to hear the pickup swaps on youtube. My two cents.
So in this case we could only boost but couldn't cut on bass and treble？ The logic is pretty like the one on sadowsky.

Who the hell wants an active squier. Jerks on Amazon sent me one of these by mistake.
Last time I watched a Mike C video it was on the player plus jazz bass and I went and bought it. I see this P bass in my very near future!
