I saw her at the Staples in South Orange, NJ about 2 years ago, my dentists neck of the woods. Dionne looked ahmazing even in her casual clothes, I mean despite her life challenges. I told her "God Bless You" and she said "God Bless You Too Baby." lol love her

I know an Italian family in which the husband, a NYC attorney, knew DW. I learned this via one of their sons, with whom I studied journalism. To this day, my friend attends her concerts when possible. I am a bit starstruck.

So smoking.. Eating chicken and McDonald's makes u look like this at 80? 😕 And here I am trying to eat fruits and veggies... What I will say about Dionne is she doesn't bite her tongue because when she Be isn't an icon because her road in the music industry hasn't been long enough people were mad lol..she's never seemed nice but she seems to be just fine with who she is... I wish her the best... Sad to know she continues to have financial issues...

I love Dionne Warwick and her music! People really need to look at some of her performances and her albums. She has a voice and knew how to use it. I am surprised that she does not take better care of herself as she has always been slim and trim so it blows my mind that she looks as good as she does. I wish that could have worked for Queen Aretha I wouldn't be heartbroken over her death still. Maybe Dionne has a really good skin care regimen?

Grew up listening to Dionne. My family loved her music. She also got a ton of radio play on the Bay Area radio stations. She was very popular in the 90s when I listening to Soul and Motown nonstop.

@@rrg from what I got from the documentary. She told Pat that Cissy would leave them often with different family members because she had to work on the road and she was molested that way. It may not be true but I just always associated that with the trigger for a lot of her pain. I love you and your channel 😭💜

Oh no don’t get it twisted: Dionne Warwick was THE FIRST Whitney Houston in the 60’s. The people writing for songs for her did a great job! I have a couple of her Anthologies and I love to put them on when I take long drives-issa vibe! One time I was in Vegas I saw a big carousel board at the airport that had her and Musiq Soulchild headlining together; she’s even got a song with BONE THUGS N’ HARMONY! There’s so much more her discography has to offer than “Walk On By” and “I Say A Little Prayer”; Dionne was able to hold her own next to the likes of Tina Turner and Aretha, so she’s definitely the real deal.

The reason why she's so slim is probably because of her smoking habit, it probably curbs her appetite and she only eats a little bit of the unhealthy food at a time. Not a diet anyone should follow but it makes sense when you think about it lol. Can't explain why it hasn't affected her health and appearance wise tho, probably good genes
