I know people don’t consider Amberlyn particularly smart but I think she is 💯 calculating. She did this to put herself into the drama because everyone has been losing interest in her. Amberlyn’s vlogs are boring. She could have apologized to Becky but she won’t because she wants the drama. She chose to apologize, publicly, to Nader because she knew it would bring the drama. She doesn’t care about Chantal and i guarantee she only supported Chantal because it would get people talking.

Mental health professional here. Advice giving is explicitly one of the pitfalls that are advised against (at least as a social worker) but as a person providing clinical counseling in general. No therapist or psychologist would tell her to apologize to Nader. Maybe float the idea or run with it after she suggested it but tell her to do it? No.
I cannot remember a therapist I have consulted EVER giving advice (telling me what to do). Not once in 10+ years. That is not what they do.

My theory about the psychologist is simply that ALR is lying to her. Despite all of us paying attention to her, ALR isn't a huge celebrity that is known to the general public. Also, from what I understand about therapy, it's considered unethical for the therapist to go look up the person on social media. The therapist isn't a PI looking for all the details of their client's life and won't spend the sessions pointing out lies and forcing them to be accountable. The therapist is meant to help digest and reframe the information the client provides.
Bold of you to believe she's actually seeing a mental health professional of any ilk.

She's lying. She's not seeing a psychiatrist and no psychiatrist would ever push her to apologize to a stranger. Psychiatrists are basically there to diagnose you and prescribe meds. I see mine every four weeks and it's basically a 20 minute visit of her asking me about my symptoms, making changes to my medication s and that's it. She's such a damn liar 😒😒
@@indigobaby0305 Psychiatrists are medical Drs that prescribe meds. Psychologists are Drs for mental health that provide different non-medicinal therapies. (CBT, EDMR, exposure etc) Therapists help process thoughts and emotions in a constructive manner. And she sees none of them.

@@HollieMoodie - It’s not a free ride when you have to be on call 24/6 as driver, ER hand holder, caretaker for a giant toddler and a dog and two cats, personal assistant/errand girl, and live-in maid. That’s a real job and worth a lot more per hour than Becky got from all the unneeded junk Amberlynn dumped on her.
Becky would never have moved to Lexington and to an expensive apartment, so thinking she should pay for that is ridiculous. She was there because she worked for Amberlynn. On her own, she would have moved into simpler accommodations closer to her family, especially since her mother was dying.
All Becky got out of it in the end was stiffed on promised payment for her work in the lives (while she was still doing all the needed work for Amberlynn) and having to keep paying off on an old clunker damaged by carting around a 600-lb woman for several years.

I think it was extremely foul of Amber to do what she did. Even IF her therapist advised she apologized to Nader, why would she make it public and add in the comment about finding him entertaining when his content is making fun of her friend. I don’t like any of them but I would feel so betrayed if my friend did that. Amber could’ve easily messaged Chantal and said “hey heads up, I’m going to apologize for calling him a narc.” But the fact she publicly blindsided and chose to embarrass her friend is just sad. But off that lovely topic... I'm sure if ALR actually has a therapist, any decent therapist might have told her to apologize to anyone she's hurt recently. Rather than pick the obvious choices of Becky or Becky's family or even as far back as Casey- Amber chooses to publicly "apologize" to the one person who will bring her the most drama and attention. 'Cause that's just how she rolls. Then she gaslights Chantal when she's called on it and throws her therapist under the bus to boot. ALR is a true narcissistic and she got herself a multitude of supply from that single action. She's milking the fallout from it as we speak.
Not that I take Chantal's side as I say that either. But Amber just filled out her own bingo card all within the span of a few hours last night.
My personal theory is that I think ALR did this to stir the pot (obviously) and she misses being the queen of the trainwrecks in gorl world. Suppose I HAD to interpret what Amberlynn was saying. In that case, I'd guess that her therapist ACTUALLY told her that apologizing for and not participating in the bullying would help alleviate her anxiety about getting bullied.
