Ive wondered what it would look like to integrate NF into the universities free student counseling department. We have a counseling degree that could potentially help fuel it with interns. I'm looking for someone near Albany, NY who performs FMRI on alcoholics. I'm trying to convince someone I know who needs this....it may be the missing piece to help with her sobriety.
What is a Placebo effect, though? Life on this entire planet, especially human life runs largely on the placebo/nocebo effect. That's why we have the media trying to tell us what/how to think. Society largely behaves like this.

Indeed I have. CSUN's neuroscience department did that with great success. We even hired one of their graduates.

I agree that Neurofeedback is affected by the placebo affect because symptoms can get better or worse with Neurofeedback treatment,.
