Just in case with anyone who didn't get this story, the man was a human pet for an alien family. And as creepy and strange as It seems I saw something like this and on an episode of The Twilight Zone and the story was very similar, not exactly like this but similar.

Gabby the man is a pet like a fish or chameleon or tarantula kept in glass cage. That's why he's always alone. The baby accidentally got inside and the man bit him so the father killed him.

There are a lot of people yelling that the man deserved to die. I disagree. A giant creature came out of nowhere, threw a massive club at his house, then grabbed him. He was just defending himself from certain doom when he bit it. You should all be mad at the parents for being neglectful enough to put their baby in the cage in the first place.You do NOT leave infants alone with pets EVER.
TheIntimateAvenger my parents learned that the hard way I pulled our dogs tail when I was and got bit. So my dad went into well a fight response there’s no flight option for him and he nearly snapped the dogs neck can’t say I blame him

Does it need a meaning? I assumed it was just the human got kidnapped by giant aliens and put in an aquarium, then when he bit the baby the aliens killed him for being a 'violent ' pet.

It's just a 'What if?' story, where it's just offering a possible outcome if massive aliens found Earth and thought we looked like interesting pets, I guess. They could have taken anyone but he lived alone so was an easy target. Same way humans keep fish just because they look pretty, yet they probably don't much care for being trapped in a glass box for their entire lives.

Thomas Bailey nice to the baby? Imagine walking outside in the middle of the dark to see a giant baby or in fact a unknown creature which you can’t identify what it wants or what it will do. I’m pretty sure if anything or anyone throws a huge ass stick at your house you would be pissed off and anything giant that grabs you especially a baby would probably kill you by eating you, gripping on you too hard, or throwing you everywhere. Even if you were nice to it, it would have probably kill you anyways.

I mean first off you walk outside your house in the dark and see a giant ass baby you know something ain’t right. Also if the man did allow the baby to pick him up, the baby would have either ate him or throw him to the ground definitely causing him to die. Babies usually either try to eat and throw whatever they pick up.

So I'm guessing he had to somehow get abducted recently where these creatures somehow transported an area of his land because it makes no sense how he would not notice all of his surroundings especially when he needs to get food and supplies.

Even in cases with certain venomous snake bites, the odds of actually dying from them are pretty slim, especially for snake handlers, because anyone who handles venomous snakes on a regular basis, would have to be a complete imbecile not to have some form of anti-venom on standby.
