@Stellos Kourourkakis I suspect he was a kidnapper. If he wanted to just kill her he could have probably done that long ago. So he may have also been a human trafficker. I suspect the doll is possessed by a girl who was also kidnapped but was much less fortunate. So now she is back to help other little girls in similar situations. In brutal fashion well that is my theory anyway.

Okay, I will admit, I did not see that coming. Good twist, good animation, good animation, good build-up, and really well-done suspense and tension. Another really good Nightmare Tale.
In Germany we have a story called "The White Woman of Eberberger Forst". It says if you pass the forest, mostly near small chapel you should be cautious if a candle is lit up inside it. It may just happen that you will see the ghost of a woman dressed in white. It's said if you drive past her, a horrific accident will happen (like crashing into a tree) the accident happens when she suddently appears in your backseat. But you can also stop and pick her up. If you do this she will sit in your backseat but you wont feel afraid of her. It is just important not to look at her. Atter a while of driving you she reched her destination and leaves you.
I really dig the idea of little girls having creepy ghosts/spirits that reside in their toys or dolls as their personal bodyguards that come out and kick asses whenever their friends are in danger. It's a rather cute and wholesome twist to your typical "evil" supernatural beings who scare and kill people just bc they can.
That was a wonderful twist to the story! So instead of actually being a sinister apparition, the figure on the side of the road was actually there to cause the accident and save the girl's life! I love it!
@@WolfMaiden11 The politeness I was referring too was more along the lines of being shot in the head rather than having his neck twisted, but perhaps you're right the apparition should have gone all out with a sledge hammer and repeated the "break on the wheel" routine lost to time. However, the ghostly doll didn't have access to a sledge hammer and an old fashioned wagon wheel so she made do with what she had... ;)

Do you mean La Llorona? I’ve never heard that part of the story but I guess there are different versions of the story. In the version that I know, La Llorona walks near bodies of water at night and takes kids to claim them as her own. But then she sees that they are not her real kids and drowns them.
I love the twist. And I love how one of the most tense/unnerving parts of this video is when nothing is happening in the car and he lets his guard down, just 'cause you know it's not over. This is horror.

The girl's doll appeared in a humanoid form every time the man passed a hill possibly signaling that he should let the girl go or that he was doomed already. Very interesting and unexpected twist, keep up the good work!

@@Utubesanarc I'd call it an angel. Angels and demons have the same capabilities they just use it for polar opposite purposes. In this case she used her abilities to protect a child and it's completely justified for an angel to do this to a kidnapper in defense of an innocent child.

This story reminds me of something I read once about a spell to enchant a toy/doll to protect a child. I think that is what the girl's doll is. A special doll that is passed down in the girl's family to protect the children from danger.

There's also a reverse/darker stories in Japan where as if a doll is loss or thrown away, it will become an Onryo (On meaning grudge/anger and ryo means ghost/Spirit). It will look for it's owner(mostly little girls) and, well, let's just say it won't be pretty 💀

Yeah, in this one the apparition was the hero and not the villain. The victim was the villain, what a twist.
