She didn't pick up the guitar until she was 17, and didn't even listen to rock music until about that time. Until that time, she had been trained on classical piano. It just goes to show how incredibly talented she is.

@@thefamjaycrew3901 She is an amazing musician and composer, and such a sweet and humble person. You might want to check out Ohrenje's excellent documentaries about each of the Maids. He has so much info about them. Really well researched and presented.
That moment where Kanami talks about the BAND-MAID logo chosen by her to be on the truss rod cover... I think that's related to her recent comments in the interviews, that she considers BAND-MAID her one and only project in life. If BAND-MAID stops, for some reason, she said she will probably leave the music business altogether.
That's why her signature guitar is a BAND-MAID signature guitar. Probably there were discussions about it with the PRS managers, who insisted that since it's the Kanami Signature Model, it must bear her name. Miku has named her signature Zemaitis guitar "GUITAR KURUPPO", for example. But BAND-MAID is her project, everybody knows it. But for Kanami... I think it is kind of a turning point in her realization of what BAND-MAID is for her. It is her entire life, and she announces it publicly.
That logo means a lot to Kanami and not just Kanami buy Miku and Akane and Misa they almost was going to stop the band but I’m happy and thankful they keep on going Band-Maid is a big part of their lives and it’s something special for Kanami to have the logo on her guitar and where she put it on her own guitar she really deserves it eh she is something special and the first Japanese woman to have her own signature guitar too by PRS love. Band-Maid a lot saw them live last year for the 10 years anniversary show was amazing Po! And thx for that and also Misa is the reason why I’m learning the bass guitar in the first place she my inspiration etc thx again cheers 🍻 😊🤘

She deserves it love Mincho she is one of my favorite guitarist ever! She works really really hard I’m glad they choice her and she got to choose her own design it’s a beautiful guitar 🎸 love Band-Maid was lucky enough too see them live last year for 10 year anniversary show was amazing Po! 😊🤘

I checked the official PRS site->PRODUCTS->Price List->Limited->KANAMI limited edition
The price listed there is 850K yen.
I believe all 200 are already sold. And they are going for around $6000, which means kanami stands to make about 1.4 million dollars off this deal and she is the first Japanese person to ever get a signature P. R. S we maidiacs a really proud of mincho , kuruppo!
Kanami definitely deserves it she works really hard amazing guitar player and one of my all time favorites seeing them live was incredible experience Po! Hopefully they will make more thx for the info much appreciated we love Band-Maid 😊🤘
she has an interview when she was testing out PRS 35th anniversary models. she has another one where she is testing out peddles. She has done a few by herself
Yes that’s true but she said in her post that she still was going to be a bit nervous etc without her band mates being there etc but eh Mincho did amazing like always Po! She is incredible eh 😊🤘
