Kanami, the lead guitar player just got a signature PRS this month. Paul Reed Smith presented it to her, himself.
Best rock band on the planet, po!
PRS just released their 1st Kanami signature guitar!
As the first commenter said Miku plays her sponsored/endorsed zemaitis guitars kanamincho plays her sponsored endorsed PRS guitars and PRS guitars just gifted kanamincho her own signature guitar zemaitis gifted Miku with her own signature guitar a while back and misa plays her sponsored endorsed black cloud Bass guitars and black cloud gifted Misa her own signature Bass guitar akane plays her sponsored endorsed tama kit with her sponsored endorsed zildgin cymbals and wincet has made Akane signature sticks
Damn, punctuation isn't scary. Don't be afraid to use it.
Band-maid is a top live Band nice reaction greeting from germany
@@leeredose9192 yeah they are. I hope they tour here.
That was a great reaction video Mike, I really enjoyed it. I think many commenters will recommend you try a live video next and I heartily agree. They really are astonishing live.
Hey that was me in the comments that requested this! 🍺😁🤘🏻🕊️
@@RogerChance5309 I’m glad you requested it. They are amazing
You and Gary are beasts !
Amazing! I don't think I've ever seen you request a Band-Maid song before!
What? Roger making a Band-Maid request?
"ROGEEEEEEEEEEER".🫠🍺
Welcome to Band Maid !!!!!! get ready...you just heard the best current rock Landon the planet !!!!!! The musicianship is second to none
and the writing by Kanami is incredible !!!! Just wait till you hear their live videos....check out Hate ? Live !!!!!!
As of last week, Kanami (Lead Guitar), became the first artist in Japan to be granted a PRS Signature Model guitar. It is a stunningly beautiful guitar. See the PRS home page for info- it's a very select band, starting with Carlos Santana- the latest news. Almost right, but the other guitar played by Miku is a Zemaitis. Hey! you'er going to have so much fun with the music if this band. They had three sellout tours in the US during 2022-23. Great reaction- thanks. (UK)
This is your lucky moment. You've just discovered one of the most spectacular (hard-)rock bands on the pitch. With Band-Maid you have it all in one go: brilliant musicianship, stellar songwriting, scintillating live performances and strong and graceful personalities. Together now for more than eleven years, same(!) line-up and - believe it or not - still getting better and better. From the very start they made it clear that they wanted to be a band that should make a difference, and not just remain a footnote in Rock's annals. And so it happened.
@@theohof2204 I’ve been listening to them all morning
Welcome to the world of BAND-MAID. I really enjoyed your reaction, thank you. They have a lot of talent. The songs I recommend are "ON SET" and "WITHOUT HOLDING BACK," both of which are instrumental songs. I think you can understand their musical style very well.
Band-Maid has around 140, mostly awesome tracks in their cataloge. I hope you'll do more.
😏❤️🎙🎸🥁😎🤘 Try " Don't You Tell Me, " live.
Great reaction! I’m always happy to see someone discover this band, and even happier when it’s someone who came appreciate and express the details of the musicianship (and gear!) on display.
B-M are the complete package, talent, charisma creativity, hard work, professional, no toxic BS , the best thing to happen to rock since and roll was added to it. What a fcken band Po 👍🍻
Great reaction and yes, they are a great band and very talented musicians. Thanks for reacting to Band-Maid.
They are rock and roll guardian angels and the best hard rock band on this planet🤘Keep an eye on them!!
The song Blooming was released 5 years ago and Forbidden Tale is only 2 month "old".
Cheers Kent cos accurate dating is essential. If a bomb was going to fall on me i'd listen to what time you said it was going to drop so i could be somewhere else.🙂👍
BANDMAID is the greatest proper rock and roll band of the 21st century IMHO. It's a crazy statement.
Was Mozart the world's greatest composer of his era? He'll yeah! The farther we get away from that time the more clearly we see the immensity of his talent. Few would argue with the above assessment.
Everytime I write "IMHO" after BandMaid is the greatest proper rock and roll band of the 21st century I feel like a liar. IMHO my ass! IMHO water is wet. BandMaid rules right now. 66 years old here. The future will prove us right.
MAIDs,MAIDs,MAIDs,MAIDs,moreMAIDs,MAIDs,MAIDs
You should definitely hear them live for your next reaction! "Hate?" is a fun and awesome song live, and "Domination" as well. Beware! You may fall in love with this band!
@@artomatt I already have
Amen to this!!!!
Band Maid is the greatest Rock Bands in modern times. Kanami, Lead Guitar, is an incredible composer and musician. PRS just delighted the Band Maid fan base with giving Kanami her own signature guitar. So happy for her, she is an amazing person all around.
React to some of their Official Live videos, they are incredible live, you will be amazed.
Welcome to J Rock/Metal world❣️ Keep enjoying Band-Maid, but there are many more great J Rock/Metal bands to explore as well. Enjoy your Japanese music journey❣️🤘
I'm impressed when I see guys able to get close to Japanese female players abilities. It's a very rare occurrence sadly.
They are a ROCK Band, and right now the best in the World. They have been touring the US and Europe since 2016.
They were a hit at Lollapalooza, of which they were there by invitation. Only the Second Japanese band to perform there.
Welcome back home, Master Mike! Please, don't stay gone another 8 years. Since then, Band-Maid has released about 130 songs, all of them terrific. 🕊️🌏🌍🌎
"definitely much mellower" Uh, yeah but...never mind, you'll find out :)
I did
The ladies are the real deal, you have just found your new favourite band - check them out live next time
Paul just handed Kanami her own PRS Signature guitar about a week ago. They flew off the shelves (as they say)
Kanami plays Bogner amps too. Loves her elite kit. I don't think she spends money on much else.
Kanami just got a Signature PRS, but they're sold out. You might be able to find one in resale. However, Miku's guitar is a Zemaitis, not a Dean Zelinsky. She has nearly all of them. You can see both her Signature Model THe Flappy Pigeon as well as MISA's Black Cloud Signature Bass in 'Forbidden Tale'.
@@zer0tzer0 i remembered the name after I recorded video I think zelinsky is a world leader 😂
@mikesmusicalrehab kanami PRS guitare signature sold-out an hour in U.S. cost 6000$. Only 200 hundred exist on the market. Band-maid's fan are fanatic. Like with Zemaitis Flappy pigeon.
@@mikometal4882 with only 200 made that will increase on the resale market. Kind of like the original runs for Adam jones guitars
Welcome to Band-Maid! The best hard rock band I have heard in my 58 years on this planet. While they don't class themselves as a metal band, they don't stick to any one genre and often mix genres in songs. They are extremely diverse and have an extensive back catalogue featuring Punk, Pop-Punk, Hard-Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Prog, Blues, Jazz, Groove, Rap etc. From face melting 220 bpm punk-prog mayhem to ballads, instrumentals to acoustics they do it all. They can make you headbang, they can make you pogo, they can make you cry like a baby. They are also five of the nicest people in music, without a shred of ego. They are funny and fun and world class musicians to boot. They are currently into their 12th year with the original line up. And they are the best live band I have ever witnessed!
Btw, Miku plays Zemaitis guitars not Dean Zelinsky. She has her own signature model.
Btw, Miku the rhythm guitarist (red rose) formed the band. She had the idea of Band-Maid after working as a maid in Japanese maid cafe's. Her idea is a concept called "The Gap" - that is what you see (cute maids) is NOT what you get (Hard Rock/Punk/Metal). They take the maid café concept literally. They call their concerts "servings" and their fans "Masters and Princesses". Oh, and Miku is an 810 year old small pigeon. Welcome to the pigeon hole Po!
@@Davey-Boyd I am definitely on this journey now
💜💛❤💙💚
Welcome (back) to the Maidiacs

The best Hard Rock band on Earth. Best served live, where they really excel. If you want to see the best Metal band on Earth (Japanese all female) try Lovebites. Again, best live.
Thanks so much nice reaction!
Last night I enjoyed their Live at Zepp Hanea.

Instrumental skills: "From now on" or "Without holding back": both are MV
Stellar kombo: "Manners" and "Black Hole": a covid studio live
Fantastic live stuff: ""Hate?", "Domination", "Play", "Freedom" or "Don't you tell me": Live
Punk: "Rinne": MV
Best Prog Hard Rock Band on the Planet bar none! 🕊👀🥰🤩😍❤👍😁🍻
Definitely watch the live recordings, they're a performance band. Try "Don't You Tell Me" or "Hate?" from the Yokohama Arena concert in 2023 (their 10th anniversary show). Great audio visual quality, and these are on the official Band-Maid channel.
btw, for another "not bad for a girl band", check out Japanese heavy metal outfit Lovebites, you won't be disappointed! 😊
This song is the soundtrack for the Netflix feature film "Kate" about hired killers.
Welcome, Mike. You are embarking on (along with many others - 220 million YT views, plus over 40 million reactor plays!) an awesome, progressive, hard-rock journey with 5 incredible women. Here's my intro blurb for those who may be new to Band-Maid:
BAND-MAID’s songs and sound beat with the heart and soul of all rockers. But you’ll also hear heavy influences of Prog, Punk, Metal and Pop, with nice touches of Blues, Jazz, Funk and Grunge. Sometimes they use multiple genres within the same song. Their Composition, Execution, Joy of Playing, Consistency (144 songs), Uniqueness, Charisma, Charm and, oh yeah, Cuteness factor, position them as becoming the hard rock Beatles of our time! In other words, they’re destined for mega-stardom.
Each member's personalities are super interesting and their musicianship among the best. Their writing, arrangements and overall sound, especially guitar tones and drums, are kick-ass! Having seen them LIVE, I can honestly say their performance, sound, stage appearance, and band synergy is off-the-rails spectacular!
Band-Maid is the only band in decades where I love nearly EVERY song they’ve done. I have over 80 favorites! "Thrill" (2014) is a great place to start: ua-cam.com/video/Uds7g3M-4lQ/v-deo.html Their songs from albums Unleash, Unseen World, Conqueror, World Domination, Just Bring It, Brand New Maid, and New Beginning drive even more - Hate?, Shambles, Influencer, Warning, No God, Different, Black Hole, Rinne, Blooming, Moratorium, Domination, Clang, Dice, Spirit, Don’t You Tell Me, Turn Me On, Fate, Play, You, Hide-And-Seek, Secret My Lips, Puzzle, Choose Me, I Can’t Live Without You, and on and on.
But don’t miss out on their powerful, beautifully written, mid-tempo songs like Daydreaming, The One, Bestie, About Us, Memorable, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, At The Drop Of A Hat, Mirage and Smile... or more punky like After Life, Don’t Let Me Down and Screaming… or funky like Bubble… or bluesy like Manners and The Dragon Cries… or poppy like Start Over… or a bit jazzy like Wonderland… or progressive like No God, Giovanni, and Black Hole… or cultural like the Band-Maiko series… or instrumentals like From Now On, Don’t Be Long, Onset, Without Holding Back and Going Nuts… or their many acoustic versions like Catharsis and Sayonakidori... and last but not least, their Anime hits (AniMaid) like Protect You, Sense, Different, Glory and Unleash!!!!! (from their own Anime MV (series?)): ua-cam.com/video/7LB_EPS48HE/v-deo.html)
And many songs are represented with over 50 well produced music videos. ua-cam.com/users/BANDMAID

Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Don’t Let Me Down, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid.

Band-Maid Members:
Saiki Atsumi (Sy-i-Key or Psyche) “StarQueen" - Lead vocals, arrangements and melodies. At 30 and the youngest, “Sensei” (Teacher) as band members call her, has the last word on many musical decisions. High-heels or sneakers, Sai-chan’s smile melts away her sometimes perceived, coldish persona. Saiki’s powerhouse performances, charisma, and voice focus the experience that’s driven her to the top echelon of hard rock frontwomen... or frontmen!
Miku Kobato (Me-Ku) "Small Pigeon" - Rhythm guitar, vocals, lyricist, 33 years old. “Koba”, as Saiki calls her, is the Band founder and a firecracker MC & PR SpokesPigeon, po! Her “Magic Spell Time” charm and energy ignite the room. Kuruppo! No, no, no… KURUPPO!!
Kanami Tono (Ka-Na-Me) “Princess” - Lead guitar, keyboards, 33 years old, is a prolific writer of most Band-Maid material. Kanami (translates “Song Wave”) is a possessed riff-slayer who’s so damn adorable it hurts. The only thing you want from Mincho is more!
Akane Hirose (A-Ka-Nay) "Gorilla" - Drums, 33 years old, band energizer & co-clown with MISA. Achi’s talents include massive consumption of noodles and bananas, of course, (even during performance!) while revolutionizing rock drumming with relentless drive, dynamics and the kick. This “DrumZilla” is the Party!
MISA (Me-Sa) "Barefoot Assassin" - Bass, 32 years old. An alluring free spirit driving her 5-string to rapturous low-ends while pulling off surprising counter leads with Kanami, off-stage MISA is the band’s goofball ballerina. Sometimes seen as the Mysterious One because she lets her instrument do the talking, the Assassin literally kills it… every note... uniting Band-Maid’s world-class rhythm section. A slug of JB, a slight grin, and let the slappin’ begin… MISA! MISA! MISA!
Maidiacs (Maid-e-acts) - Band-Maid’s crazed yet supportive, knowledgeable and loyal Super Fans.

The Maids are one of the hardest working supergroups in the business! Their music, their sound, each of the Maids, and the love that permeates their live events is an experience not to be missed. Hope you can catch them LIVE!
I’m excited for this journey. I have to check out the band baby metal also. I heard of that band just in the metal scene and I’ve heard good things about them also
@@mikesmusicalrehab BM, although a great ensemble, is quite different than B-M. The Maids write and play their own songs and instruments whereas BM has a backup band to the main act of three girls. But you'll enjoy them, I'm sure.
They are incredible. Deep catalog with no weak tracks. The Japanese metal/rock scene as a whole is currently the most diverse and talented in the world IMO. You have alot of catching up to do. Lovebites (Best metal band I've heard in decades), Nemophila, Hanabie, East of Eden, Bridear, NEK! (Each are all-female bands) + some others. Dive deep, you will not be disappointed.
Every Band-Maid song is different from every other Band-Maid song, and they are all worth checking out, but as mentioned by other folks in the comments they are best experienced live. Blooming is my #1 favorite Band-Maid song, Forbidden Tale is from the maid's latest studio album Epic Narratives released on September 25th. 14 songs that definitely live up to the name of the album.
I know someone had to have commented already....but miku plays a custom zemaitis flappy pigeon....there are about 150ish and come up for sale occasionally but are grabbed up quickly
Thanks for reacting to the greatest band in the world! They're even better live.
Welcome Home, Mike!!!!!🕊️
Congratulations on improving your life immensely today! Finding the Maids can be a life-changing experience of pure JOY! 🤩
The Maids are a remarkable collection of extraordinarily talented musicians who excel at every aspect of modern Rock music creation: Composition, Arrangement, Songwriting, Orchestration, Instrumentation, Recording, Production, Playing and Performance. If you stick with the journey, you’ll see it’s true.
They just released a new album “Epic Narratives” that’s absolutely glorious!
They pull in fans from all rock genres - pop-punk, emo, modern rock, classic rock, grunge, heavy metal; because the Maids are so talented and versatile with songs using elements of every rock style and genre imaginable!
We like to say the Maids are their own genre. They are in fact on the (back) cover of the Japanese Rolling Stone magazine this month. They have a goal of (peaceful) World Domination through music; and are on their way. They’ve toured Europe and North America before; they’ve stayed in Japan for 2024, but expect them to make a tour stop near you in 2025!
As for more songs; 😂. It’s a bit of a joke with us Masters & Princesses (or Maidiacs, if you prefer), because, literally, the Maids are probably the single most PROLIFIC band at writing great song after great song - EVER. They have songs across the rock music genre spectrum - we say they are their own genre. 🤷🏻♂️
Seriously, I’m not kidding - you’ll easily get 50-75 different song suggestions from 100 different people. And there’s a saying in the community; “Your favorite Band-Maid” song is the next one you listen to. 🤷🏻♂️

Hey Mike,
glad to have you back with some Band-Maid !
Mike, if you continue to react to Band-Maid's music, you will soon realize how amazingly talented they are and diverse in their musical output. They have a catalog of over 140 songs. How many rock bands have that extensive of a catalog after being together for even a dozen years.
Just to let you know, Kanami, their lead guitarist is the first Japanese artist ever, male or female, who has her own signature model by PRS. That guitar is beautiful. There is a video on the PRS website with Kanami explaining the design and attributes of the instrument. Miku Kobato, the rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist uses Zemeitas guitars. She also has her own signature model called the "Flappy Pigeon". It is a beautiful guitar as well.
MISA, the bassist, was also honored by Black Cloud guitars with her signature Smoke Black Cloud bass guitar.
This band is garnering a lot of attention worldwide for their musical proficiency.
The more Band-Maid songs you react to, the more subscribers you will get to your channel from Band-Maid fans (we call ourselves Maidiacs) who are fiercely loyal to the Maids and are very supportive of reactors who react to their music.
I’m not surprised she got an endorsement. She’s a great guitar player and her solos are perfect for the skngs
You should check out the entire Epic Narratives album (14 song LP). :) I believe there are 6 videos from 6 tracks. Of those, there is one Official Live video -- Magie. Another, a collaborative composition with Mike Eizinger of Incubus and another a full collaboration with the band The Warning.
Welcome *back* to Band Maid!
🙂
Band Maid has flipped the script. “Good for a female band” might be what some people say… I say “male bands need to step up their game!” I’ve listened to rock and metal for 50 years and it’s been a few decades since I’ve been excited by a band as much as this. A few songs made me realize how good they are, but their catalogue, taken in its entirety, made me realize that there’s no band that’s debuted since the 80’s that can compare to them.
Best band on Earth - so good news and good news. Taking two songs from different time frames is a good idea - usually. But with Band-Maid, they don't repeat themselves, so every song is a new adventure unto itself, and leads to this uncanny affect of just being better and better with every listen. You gradually grow to appreciate the spectacular songwriting and genre defying innovation, as well as a true grasp of their individual levels of musicianship. And when you get to know the band members a bit? You're toast. And next, do some Official Live videos. Live is where they really shine, and going to an actual show is mind-blowingly fun!
This band not just pretty good(lots of bands around are pretty good) .This band amazing, simply the best hard rock band in the world!!! And their guitar player Kanami is the best guitar player in the world!!! Thanks for your nice reaction!
"I don't remember who suggested it..." I'm going with Roger Chance...lol
You have the "Z" right on Miku's guitar. It is a ZEMAITIS. It is an A24MF Flappy Pigeon. It is her signature guitar and only 80 were made. You gotta see a live video. The current flavor of the month for live vids is "Hate?" The amazing thing about them is the songs as a whole are very solid and work great. You can also dissect them with your ears and focus on one instrument and it opens up the song in ways you don't normally catch on the first few listens. It's like adding just a tad bit of water to top shelf whiskey. It opens up and and discover hidden notes and flavors. :)
Geez Mike, "Blooming" and "Forbidden Tale" back-to-back!? Ya' almost killed me! 😂 Probably my personal #1 and #2 tracks. (I just can't decide which is which). Anyway, thanks for revisiting The Maids! 🕊️
They tour the US regularly. Saw them live twice last year. As for the "Pretty good for a girl band comment" ... lets be honest we didn't have very talented girl bands in the 70's, 80's and 90's. But today, especially in Japan the ladies are absolutely killing it. Most of my favorite bands today are all female Japanese rock and metal bands.
They played Lollapalooza in Chicago last year.
In the Forbidden Tale MV, you have MISA's signature bass from Black Smoker, Miku has her signature "Flappy Pigeon" from Zemaitis, and then Kanami is using her new PRS Private Stock... not to be confused with her new PRS signature that was just revealed this week. Akane has her own signature sticks from Wincent. These wonderful ladies have come a long way from Real Existence. They'll be playing their final okyu-ji tonight in a few hours. 🤘
I’m impressed that you remember the name of a band and a song that you heard only once around eight years ago! You may have a superpower my friend!
I’ll be honest I looked up title while I was at work cause I couldn’t remember the name
I’m 51 and I almost forgot it while making the video 😂
In the video for "Blooming," Miku Kobato is playing a Zemaitis MFG24. My wife bought me one of those back in 2021. It's beautiful and plays so smoothly. It's the only one of my three guitars where I left the factory pickups in place. Cool reference to Dean Zelinsky, though, and I can see why you'd make that reference. Moreover, she's the one playing through the EVH. Kanami, the one playing the PRS, I believe still plays through a Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier.
Welcome home to Band-Maid.
Thank you! I have to say I enjoy being here
“An impossibly hard rocking maid band.” They don’t know how to write a bad song.
‘Puzzle,’ live, showcases just how good the band live.
You have a lot of catch up regarding BAND-MAID lore.

I discovered *BAND-MAID* in 2019 and came to a realization that *BAND-MAID* more then just a rock band they are a band that does not have any boundaries and is willing experiment into different genre from (Blues, Rock, Punk and Jazz) and a lot of fans including me would say “you got to check out their live videos” from:
2017-STUDIO COAST
2018-Zepp Tokyo
2020-LINE CUBE SHIBUYA
2021-BAND-MAID ONLINE ACOUSTIC
In the end I realize that *BAND-MAID* more then just a band but a band that cares about each other and their fan base and in October of 2022 I had a fortune of experiencing them live and with that *BAND-MAID* cemented their Legacy into my heart. Rock On! 🤘

Miku is playing her signature Zemaitis "Flappy Pigeon" in Forbidden Tale.
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
It’s hard at this point to come up with a guitar riff that sounds fresh and new.
You want to see a live performance. Start with DOMINATION, 14 February 2020.
They have visited the U.S. many times. Try to catch them the next time they grace our shores.
Band-Maid best hard rock and Lovebites best heavy metal
😜
lol just wait util you hear the live!
You have two choice join or JOIN PO!
FYI, they didn't write Real Existence that is why it was basic. It's still a great performance, but lacking the genius of Kanami and Miku.
Thanking you Mr Mike. If you could follow this with a doubler of "Don't You Tell Me", MV first then live from Yokohama you'll get my sub. What an incentive huh?😀
I’m definitely going to be checking out more stuff tonight and a lot of people said to do their live videos
@mikesmusicalrehab Yeah their live performances often contain showpiece song moments that aren't on the studio versions :)
The difference between what is Hard Rock verses what is Metal, where you draw the line, has always hard to define; and it hasn't gotten easier as people's musical tastes change (both socially and individually) and there seems to be a shift towards the heavier sound (across many music categories) meaning that the Classic Metal bands of the past sound more like the current Hard Rock bands. To make matters more complicated Japanese bands do things differently and are more willing to step outside their musical genre occasionally resulting people who hear only one song coming to the wrong conclusion as to what genre a band is. Most people label Band-Maid as Hard Rock, but they do have strong Metal and Punk influences depending on the songs listened to. For Japanese bands that you currently do not have reactions to that can get confusing: Gacharic Spin is a chaotic Popish Funk Rock band but the song "I Wish I" is clearly a mix of a Ballad and Metal; Nemophila is a Metal band (Metalcore) but they have a number of Ballads, for example "Beautiful Days," which fall more into the Rock genre; Lovebites is a Metal band (a mix of Power/Thrash/Speed) but if you only see fragments of some songs you would think they are some kind of Classical Piano/Vocal focused group, the start of "Edge of the World" (listening to the full songs there is no question as to what kind of band they are).
Zemaitis guitar
@@kieranbuffini8632 yeah I remembered the name after I recorded video 😂
This pigeon hole you’re about to jump into will be enjoyable.
Check out Hate! Live from Yokohama arena it showcases their talents!
But there’s not a bad song from this band…please keep reacting!
🤘🕊️🥷🦍👸🏻👀PO!
I heard to check that out multiple times I have a video coming out in a couple hours which was first time hearing baby metal but another one later tomorrow with live band maid
For general information, Japanese rock and metal now has more than a hundred bands, not counting J-pop, which is actually rock too. If you are interested, I can give you some links to get acquainted
Hi, I recommend From Now On (MV) and Hate? (Official live) next……
The other guitar is a Zemitis.
Yeah I remembered name after video. 🤣 I think other last name is a world leader
Hi Mike, greetings from the Netherlands. I enjoy watching your reactions, but I noticed you haven't reacted to any Nightwish songs yet and I think you're missing out on some epic content! Nightwish is a band from Finland and their music is like a rollercoaster ride of emotions, blending powerful vocals with intricate instrumentals in a way that's totally unique. They have just released their 10th studio album, but before you get to that you may want to give the song ‘Ghost Love Score’ a try, it’s an absolute gem! Nightwish is best appreciated LIVE and this video was recorded at Wacken 2013, in front of 82 000 people. You might be surprised! ua-cam.com/video/47e_961OQWE/v-deo.html
Night wish is on my list. A kid a teach guitar to keeps telling me about them. I heard they have an epic huge sound
I heard they had 2 different singers what would be a good album or song to start with
Seen your response I will check out ghost love score
@@mikesmusicalrehab Good to hear they're on the list. They are very special!
@@mikesmusicalrehab Floor Jansen is their 3rd and current singer. She's Dutch. They started out with Tarja Turunen (Finnish). She was with them from 1996 - 2005. In 2007 they continued with Swedish Anette Olzon. Floor Jansen replaced her in 2012.
Band-Maid isn’t Metal,it’s Hard rock.l don’t think it has a Metal sound.When I think of Japanese Metal,I think of Baby-Metal,LOVEBITES,Nemophila!
Yes, Band-Maid are a great hard rock band. However, if you're looking for the "ultimate queens of Japanese metal", that would be Lovebites.
@@daveminers3404 I will check them out next
@@mikesmusicalrehab You want recommendations or are you good?
