I ran track at BYU a decade ago and the gear we got from NIKE was unreal even then! Definitely better than some friends at different D1 schools. Good luck this year!
@@erickmorel1307 haha that’s a very surface level understanding of it. Not everyone who runs D3 went there because they were too slow for the other divisions. People like Nick Symmonds, Will Leer, Dhru Patel, Noah Droddy, etc. obviously could’ve ran at least D2 out of high school but the academic opportunity is different. Speaking as someone who chose D3 over several D1 partials and a multitude of D2 partial/full scholarship offers. There’s also a different vibe on the team when you don’t “have to” be there because there’s no scholarship obligation and everyone actually wants to be out there putting in the work.
@Islaaay I didn't mean to respond to you, I don't know why UA-cam tagged you. Meant to reply to the dumbass who said some shit about not being good enough for D1
Anything is possible guys! I graduated high school 4 years ago and still was able to get a scholarship for T/F hurdles this year. You don’t always have to try for d1. There’s always other options to help you get into the school of your choosing.
What’s up Easton!! Love your channel bro. I am an Junior in high school and my season last year got cancelled and it looks like my senior year is going to get cancelled as well. In your opinion, what should I do? Offers aren’t coming in for D1 schools that I want and I don’t want to attend a D2 school and am thinking about walking on. Should I walk on? Or should I go a Juco route since I haven’t gotten looked at by some D1 schools. Thanks man!
Hi Easton. I’m a junior in high school and I ran a 15:56 5k this XC season. I really want to run D1 at a competitive college, maybe even BYU, but I know I’d need to put up some fast times. Do you have any advice for getting faster? Did you ever have to do any extra mileage on your own to get faster?
@@Jake_Ritter My team does about 40 miles a week at most. 10 miles for a long run, 2 track workouts which are usually about 7 miles total, and the rest are easy 5 mile days with strides. I also do some strength training and stretching on my own. I’ll ask my coach what he thinks as well but I wanted some more input.
@@elijahdavis1827 Most D1 athletes did around 60 miles/week in high school. If you're comfortable at 40 miles/week I would definitely bump it up to 45 and eventually 50 and your coach will probably support that decision! Take the easy days easy and the hard days hard and you will improve if you can stay healthy. Good luck :) dm me on IG if you want to talk more. Also great job on the strength and stretching, it's definitely beneficial.
Thanks for watching guys! Hopefully this a little inspiration for anyone who wants to run in college.
What’s up Easton?? You inspired me in create running content and I just signed to run in college
@@NotYourAverageTyler that’s awesome what college you going to?
@@LifeLitt my question also
I wish I could run D1 but I’m not good enough
@@lukereckinger2528 honestly running in any division in college is a feat

"college athletes should be paid" (d3 athletes having to pay for everything they get...)
Get better then

Maehara I didn’t know you’re an Easton fan. When do we see the collab?
Welcome back brother
Nike really likes you lol
The Nike zoom victory 5 xc’s are such a nice spike I love them so much
Honestly and I have the same color too lol
@Kai Smithley y u use xc spikes for track
@Kai Smithley I get it I wasn’t trying to say u shouldn’t I was just wondering the reasoning to buy an xc spike for track. I’m sure they work well.
Can't wait for the day I get to run in the Easton 3000s
Benefits of a prestigious program! Wish I had some Streaks for a fast paced 1km repeat workout.
Danggggg that’s a lot of gear!
R u planing on racing this year?
Nut

The streaks are sick! Especially for workouts

U seem like a real good grounded kid, power to u

1 pair of shorts is pretty crazy, rest of the gear is cool
What are the training flats called?
Nike Streak 7
😎
Saw BYU and was like imma check it out😂🔥
Utah?? U have a lot of BYU stuff (GO BYU!!)
It’s not a train8ng flat, it’s the Zoom Streak which is a road marathon shoe.
Make a video of all the Nike gear you have gotten from your high school years at NXN and the elite camp!
I really want to run D1 XC and track! The D1 gear is very nice.
Not every D1 school gets gear like this
Do it for the sport not the gear
Most do tho. Nike, Adidas, n Under Armor are the main outfitters.
Your the best!

Nike Air Zoom Streak 7
I'm jelly
Nike didn’t give you this. Your college bought them and you get them for free from your college
The outrageous tuition paid by another student bought them
He’s basically saying i’m proud of being an advertising slave? Lol
You take gear 💉 😳
