As someone not from the US how does it work with this kit? Do you pay for it as part of your tuition? Does the school pay to support you as you represent them? Is this set kit that everyone gets or is it discipline specific?

They are gifted by Nike. It’s like a sponsorship, but it’s been taboo to say that for a while as college athletes couldn’t be paid until very recently
some day, when i have the better funds, i may buy some of the older ones from you....(running shoes that you out-wore etc etc)
when you have better funds get some new gear! you can do it!

I can’t speak specifically for Duke but at my school we got to keep everything except for big travel suitcases, huge winter coats, and uniforms!
