I still prefer the first transformation sequence. Looked so much more badass than the post-overhaul sequence that seemed too stiff and less agile. Either way, Daimos deserves a cool upgrade like Voltes did. Love Japanime forever! Battle Turn!!!

I think the animators had it easier in this show - I mean, the transformation sequence is already half episode you can just re-run every time, so plenty of room for some slack instead of dying while trying to draw and paint a few extra animation cells for the next week :D
this has to be one of the most complicated robot launching sequences I have ever seen. Can we just keep the car inside the robot? the enemies have a lot of time to attack the pilot while he is outside the robot. and Whats the alternate form function. Does he travel far from its base, is there any reason why it has to be a transforming robot? Love it.
Or how about just allow the pilot to be inside the robot truck to operate it (no need for internal cars) 😅 And dont forget. Weather conditions change so there's a chance that the car may not land properly on the ramp.

After the live action voltes v, it is confirmed by the director that there will be a live action daimos, the production is not yet announced though since director mark Reyes is still in the middle of making 2 series one is the sanggre chronicles, if I’m not mistaken voltes v legacy is now airing in japan

@@janmontejar5735 Not even . Mazinger Z is the first. 1972. Daimos is 1978. So is voltes. Combattler is 1975. Even Grandizer, which is a Mazinger spinoff, came out before those.
When this become a live action series, its more expensive than voltes v legacy. Too much process for cgi work ups and daimos has more weapons and attacks compared to voltes v
With the time it took him to prepare, luckily he was never called for an emergency

後半、やや早送りになってる。
後に解る話なんだけどアニメの映像通りだとダイモスに変形する時の腕の収納とトランザーの形状では収納はできてないむっちゃ不思議な造りになってて現実のオモチャ化する段階で腕は後から着けるって変形シーンを再現不可能な玩具で困ったちゃんなダイモスでした。
そもそもダイモスの変型は、多分に『アニメのウソ』ありきですからw
トランザー形態とダイモスとでは、頭部と胴体のバランスが全く違う。
トランザー形態のバランスで立体化すると、変型後のダイモスの頭が
とんでもなく巨大な事に…(当時の超合金がそうでした)

ダイターン3とかだと、ロボットに変形する前も戦闘機だったり、戦車だったり、兵器として機能するし、主人公が乗るクルマも変形して戦闘機として戦えたりするけど…
ダイモスってただのトレーラーだし、クルマの方も戦闘機になったりしないし、ダイモスに変形する前の状態が何の必要性もないな😅
因みに、ダイターン3では内部をジェットコースターみたいなのでコクピットまで移動するシーンの途中で、ダイターンが敵ロボに蹴られて脱線してしまい、主人公が力づくでレールに載せ直すシーンがあったな😂
