Excellent trip report! I had no idea that you have to pay for the drinks and food on Brussels Airlines flights within Europe. I also hope you've had a great flight to Japan. Funny enough, back in June I flew from Amsterdam to Tokyo via VIE. It's a pity that Austrian discontinued the Tokyo flights.
Thank you so much! :D Yes, unfortunately... I had, ANA is great! :D The tripreport is already up! Yes, that was because Austrian made big losses on those flights, that's why Tokyo was replaced by Hong Kong in the beginning of September...

Klasse Trip Report, so wie immer :D War paar Tage danach auch in Brüssel aber für mich gings leider nicht nach Tokyo :DD Habe die 787 von ANA aber zumindest filmen können :D Echt eine Frechheit, dass sie die Tags entfernt haben, sammel die auch und das sind wie du schon sagtest echte Erinnerungen an die Reisen

Simply Aviation Oh ja! Super gestaltet, überall hat man einen Blick aufs Vorfeld und mann kann sich absolut nicht verlaufen. Was mich gestört hat, war an einem Samstag dort und die meisten Restaurants haben schon um 19:00 uhr geschlossen außer solche läden wie Viktoria secret 😂 aber ich konnte dann mal das essen im Flieger ausprobieren xDD
Ja das stimmt, dass die Geschäfte und Restaurants sehr früh schließen ist mir auch aufgefallen...

What is "sky lounge"? How does it work? You flew economy class and still had access to the lounge...It's not the first time I see the lounge for economy class in your videos.

P.S. I flew Tarom(outbound was 318, inbound was 737) OTP to Vienna in March 2015. The service was great, as always, the cabin crew is very professional, the landing was smooth despite the rain in Vienna, the food is tasty and you can always ask for another cup of juice, water or wine.
I liked the city but I want to visit again in May or June because March is too windy :( .
You can get access to the lounge by paying for it. We are in many FFP more than just a basic miles collector so we get the chance to go too lounges. We not always fly from A to B for only taking a flight, we also visit the destinations.

I actually work at BRU airport in the summer as CI agent/boarding agent. Sorry to see they ditched your bag tags without asking you first... Carriers don't like seeing other carrier's bag tags on their flights, that's why employees are being told to remove them. Most of the airlines I work for don't mind, but some are strict about it (for ex. Aegean).

So why are you not allowed to stow bags underneath the seat in front off you in the exit row
Because if there would be an emergency evacuation the bags would cause an obstacle for people trying to get out of the plane... :)

Lol u r so lucky to have SA carriers around u .... I want desperately the SG status but I'm surrounded by shitteam's airlines... need to fly at least 4 round trip CDG-TPE per year! Hopefully I can get it next year...
You live in Paris? Well, there are many SA carriers around too...
Not as practical as Asia tho... I really want to live in a SA hub like Vienna, Frankfort.... AF is good but it only gives u 15-20% of miles if u fly economy
Okay, that's bad... :/ But from Vienna only have four SA long-haul carrierers, Austrian, EVA Air, Air China and Ethiopian, so it's also not such a large hub... :/

Exactly, I was booked on a direct flight but Austrian decided to cancel their direct route so I was rebooked on ANA and Brussels... :/
